    Beef schwarma bowl
    Jaci S.

We've heard about this place and finally got a chance to go in. The beef schwarma is to die for. I have a tzatziki addiction so I had to ask for some with my bowl and it was delicious. Definitely going to get a gyro the next time I go. My brother loved the wrap also. My kiddo ate all his fries too! The two guys serving us were very efficient and friendly. There's not a lot of seating. Only tables for two people. We saw three people pull a table together so they don't mind if people do that. Tons of to go orders coming in while we were there. Will definitely be going back!

Food is so good here! So fresh, homemade, & delicious! I had the hummus with a beef shawarma bowl. Big portions & very friendly/helpful service.

My family and I were going shopping next door at the Italian place. When we got out of the car the smell coming from this place was AMAZING. And I'm sad to say not even 15 minutes before this we had gotten smoothies for our "breakfast". So after we finished in the Italian store we just had to try it out. I got the Chicken Shawarma Sandwich and this thing was HUGE! The chicken is so moist and flavorful. The veggies are delicious. And the taziki sauce is perfect. There is a place back home I eat and the taziki sauce is so over powering it's hard to eat. I will say there is so much in the sandwich that the wrap cannot hold up. I recommend getting the bowl. This is also big enough for 2 people. The Gyro is the same way. My cousin got it and him and his wife split it. The men that were working to killed it. They were slammed from everyone walking by and smelling it. Several people that were shopping next door with us also came in to try it out. Smart move by opening their doors today! Can't wait to come back and try more items.

    A vegan bowl

This place is GREAT, though not necessarily for me. I'd asked if they served vegan on their Facebook page and they said yes, so I stopped in. And what I got WAS vegan and tasted awesome. Just not all that healthy... Instead of a meat, I chose Falafel which was deep fried. And they tasted salty. IMO, that kind of takes away the "good for you" part. The add-ons to my bowl were VERY tasty. But without meat, or the deep fried Falafel, there's just not that much there for me. I be SAD.

Great food and much needed in the area! Family ran and HUGE portions that can easily be split between two. Good variety of toppings which are absolutely delicious. Try them all on your wrap or bowl. They do a good take out business.

If you like Middle Eastern food run to this new place. It is absolutely delicious. I had the gyro today, not only is it amazing, it is huge. I can't wait to go back and try everything on the menu. They cut the meat off of a spit so it fresh. I have enough for two meals. Highly recommend!

This place just ok. Not much to the inside. Schwarma was huge, like the size of a baby. The meat had okay flavor but the schwarma was very dry. Also, one knock is I saw dude making food, stop and handle money, then used same gloves to continue to make sandwich. Overall... just meh.

Chicken shawarma bowl with all the toppings/sauces

Came for lunch today and got the Chicken shawarma bowl. I honestly didn't think it was going to come with all the toppings and sauces because it says "of your choosing" but was pleasantly surprised that it did. I also thought it was a little pricey, but again the size portion made me pleasantly surprised. Couldn't finish it all, but AGAIN, surprised and noticed that it came in a Togo container! I'll definitely be back.

Food was amazing! So flavorful. We got the gyro sandwich and chicken shawarma which were both delicious. Hummus and bread on the side, one of the best hummus we have had! It came with chilies on top so if you don't like spice I would ask for no chilies.

The restaurant is pretty large and spacious, but felt a little dated, and had that stale smell in the air. We were seated right away, and everyone was nice and pleasant. I ordered the Mezze, which came with baba ghanouj, hummus, 2 pieces of falafel, and Arabic salad (which is essentially just tomatoes and cucumbers, neither of which I eat) for $11.99 The baba ghanouj was very good. The falafel was good as well. The hummus was just ok. Not the best in the Metropolitan area, but certainly not the worst either. It also comes with pita bread, which I declined. (I'm avoiding gluten due to a gluten sensitivity issue) I ordered a side of rice ($2.99) instead (I mix everything together with the rice). The rice was good; I think they add turmeric in it. I also requested grilled onion, which I just realized they charged me for, along with the tahini and hot sauce (which they call shatta). Not a big deal at $1 each, but it's always noteworthy to me when places nickel and dime you. I also ordered the grape leaves. 5 dolmas for $5.99. The dolmas were served cold, which I'm not used to. I like when they're served with warm rice and leaves. (I warmed up the leftovers in a pan, and they tasted so much better). My guy ordered the Lamb Maklubeh, a traditional Palestinian dish. He said it was good. All in all, it was a nice place and the food ranged from good to decent. And the prices were decent as well. I do wish they were more knowledgeable and accommodating to vegans though. When I inquired whether certain dishes and sauces were vegan, the waitress said she couldn't guarantee it. I didn't like that. Aside from that, it's a cool place and worth a try, especially if you want to try some traditional Palestinian cuisine.

We first tried them at a Festival of Nations and have been hooked since. They're a flavorful curry and meat dish that can be loved and enjoyed even for those not a fan of heat. One thing to note is that the curried lamb dish IS spicier than the curry chicken since the curries are prepared with different ingredients. I love the curried lamb dish almost more than the mango meatballs. The others in my party had the beef kebabs and the national dish - Qabelli Palau. Both of those were also exceptional! When you walk in, there's several steps to enter the restaurant. Then, you'll be guided up a few more stairs into the dining room and seated at a cozy table. The decor is minimal and traditional. I like how simple everything is. The focus really is on the service and the food. We're regulars here, but I'm just late to reviewing on Yelp.

We usually go as a family of 4 (all adults now; although we started to go when the kids were in high school). We love the Lamb Curry (both my sons' favorite), the Beriani, the Qabelli Palau, and Chicken Teekha Masala. The Sambosas are great starters. The chutney they serve with bbq the Naan is a family favorite. To steal a line from Frank's Red Hot Sauce "We put that sh*tuff on everything ". Finally, when we have room (and sometimes even when we don't), we get the rice pudding. The service is usually good, but not necessarily great. It's always personable and genuine; just sometimes a little slower than expected. Also the place (opened circa 2005) is showing its age a bit and needs a little TLC. It's very clean; it just needs a little refreshening in certain high traffic areas. The takeout/delivery business seemed good on the Sunday night we went there, but the in-store business was pretty quiet. However, it was one of those sub-20 degree nights, so I'm hoping that was the reason for the lack of in-person dining. Go there are experience some really great food and let's keep this gem of a locally owned restaurant in business. Based on food alone on out most recent experience, I'd rate it 5 stars; service and ambiance probably should drag it down a bit, but I'm still going with a 5-star review, because for the food and flavor it produces, it deserves a strong review and some positive energy to keep people trying this great food and supporting this local business.

I ordered the mixed grill and for a free appetizer they brought me a pita and trio of three pastes that I loved and was very tasty. I've lived and worked in the Middle East for years so I often miss the fine food I ate there so this was as close to the Middle East/Lebanese cuisine I've had in the St. Louis area.
