It was an incredible dining experience at Albadia. I gotta say its the best Mediterranean meal I've ever had for a while. Everything we ordered was delicious. My favorite was the beef shawarma. The shrimp and beef kabab was really juicy and tasty. Also loved that they served fresh squeezed orange juice. Service was friendly.I can't wait to come back again. Highly recommended!!!

Excellent lentil soup - thick and perfect. Lovely salads. Friendly service. Causal atmosphere. Easy parking. Great for lunch, solo, or groups.

Albadia has been my go-to Middle Eastern restaurant for many years. They have a large parking lot and it is disabled accessible. When you enter the restaurant, there's a large counter to pick up takeout orders and a lovely fountain that greets you. The dining room is spacious and tastefully decorated. I usually get the hummus and baba ghanoush. It's accompanied with fluffy white pita bread. Other favorites are the falafel and the Fattoush salad. My dining companion loves the shish tawook which is basically two big grilled chicken kebabs on top of flavorful spiced riced. Tahini sauce tastes great with it. You might want to leave room for dessert. The baklava is divine. The staff is friendly and patient in explaining the different dishes.

We were there for a business lunch. The place was cozy. Murals and flowers on the wall. Service was good. The staff was nice. They have good food. Plenty of parking. The prices was higher than I expected. The portion size was plentiful. I ordered the chicken shawarma. The plate was enormous. The spicy hummus was excellent. Everyone loved the grape leaves. I wasn't particularly fund of it. But I can eat it. If Yelpers are looking for Indian cuisine this is a great place to dine.

I was craving something healthy on the way home from my nail appt and decided to give this place a try. Upon walking in, I couldn't help but notice how spacious and clean it was (which is ever a bad thing). After scouring the menu one last time, I decided on the shrimp kebab and got it to go. It was a short wait and then they brought my food out. Before I left I decided to take a sneak peek. I was pretty blown away because I wasn't expecting so much food! Also, I wasn't sure if it came with anything else other than rice and even though it didn't, it was fine. The first bite of shrimp far exceeded my expectations! It was succulent and fresh, which is always a win in my book. Unfortunately, the rice missed the mark. I'm not sure what they were going for taste wise but it was off. Almost as if they combined something with tomatoes, mint, and a flavor I can't describe. Oh, and they added almonds, which imo, didn't fit. It made the rice crunchy but didn't add any flavor whatsoever. Despite the rice, the shrimp was fantastic and I can't wait to come back and try more things!

Wow. Wow. Wow. This place transported me back to Turkey! I was greeted by the sweetest woman and sat at a table. The inside made me feel like I was back in Turkey with all the beautiful tea and coffee decorations they had. The inside of the restaurant, the fresh smells of food and herbs, the menu and food! I stopped by here for my little one to have a little snack and to have a nice hot tea (Arabic tea). She loves hummus and let me tell you, the best hummus I've had in the US. And the babaganoush was absolutely perfect. It takes like baked eggplant with the best spices. The grape leaves, the perfect amount of oil and lemon to hit all the best flavors. I will be back here and coming very hungry the next time!

Albadia is hands down one of my favorite authentic Mediterranean restaurants in STL. Every dish I've tried here is packed with so much flavor and the service is always great. The interior is decorated beautifully and the restaurant is never super crowded. The baba ganoush and grape leaves are my favorite appetizers and I order both every time I come here. For an entree, you can't go wrong with the mixed grill or with any of the shawarma sandwiches. The price of each dish isn't too bad, which definitely makes you feel like you're getting a solid meal for a reasonable price.

Incredible service our waiter was helping us giving personal suggestions and very kind. Atmosphere is pretty cool with a few water fountains. The food I could tell was very flavorful but not my style of food. The grape leaves were my least favorite while the steak kebab was the best. We spent $40 between two people and got more food than I could imagine eating. I would return again if I was invited by a friend. If you are into this kind of food go check it out soon. If not try it out one time, either way give it a try!

    Beef Shawarma Sandwich

I haven't had Mediterranean food in a long time and I was delighted! I ordered the beef shawarma sandwich with fries. The meat was savory and melted in your mouth. It was shaved in thin pieces and was roasted to perfection. The toasted pita held the meat, tomatoes, pickles, onion and tahini together perfectly! I even saved half of it for leftovers the next day and it was great. Not pictured here, my friend let me sample the grape leaves and baba ghanoush with pita bread. The grape leaves were stuffed with rice, parsley, seven spice, and tomatoes. It was delicious! They went quickly in our group. I had never baba ghanoush before. My friend described it as having a texture like hummus, but more rich in flavor. They were right! The pita bread was good as well. You can definitely share one dish of baba ghanoush between two people. I am happy to go to a family owned business. You can tell the difference in the higher quality and care than if you went to a larger chain. The service was great and we had a wonderful time. If you blink you could almost miss this restaurant in a small strip mall. It's a hidden gem and I almost didn't want to make this review in the hopes that no one else would discover this wonderful spot.

Such a hidden gem! Authentic Mediterranean place. Absolutely incredible portions and service. The people here are so accommodating and sweet. Our waitress brought our hummus, baba ganoush, and pitas complimentary. They were so fresh and some of the best I have ever had. We both got the mixed grill (I believe it was called). Best bang for your buck! Massive portions, very fresh, and so delicious. You can either takeout or eat in the restaurant. They have a good amount of seating. Service: 10/10 Food and portions: 10/10 10/10 recommend!!

It was one of those busy days that requires a Snake Meal and I required tofu. I got a thai wrap with tofu (and chips), quinoa, green tea, veg dumplings, and a green tea. They were promptly delivered by a kid on a bike in the rain in a SEALED plastic bag, so everything was dry and fresh. The wrap came cut in half, I didnt notice until I already ate the butt on one side like a neanderthal. I ordered it just as it comes and it was GREAT. The peanut sauce is powerful.. thick and full of sweet umami flavor. I would have been fine eating just this, ut was def not bunny food. I popped a veg dumpling into the included sauce and oh my god I could have eaten 80 of them. I forgot to chew. Damn good dumpling from a chain. The quinoa falafel was good. Dry, but thats to be expected.. and I had tzaziki and hummus and jalapeno cilantro sauce and dumpling sauce and peanut sauce to make that a non issue. These would be great in a wrap, but they certainly have enough sauces to make this a viable side, appetizer, or entree by themselves. Chips are chips. I was happy to have them to sample the sauces. I liked all of them. I'm feeling pretty fat and happy and will be back for a bowl in the future. I completely shed my previous opinions of the place. Crazy!
