Delicious! Simple storefront with a few tables, small menu and very tasty. I had the falafel wrap with pickled veg, olives, and cabbage and hubby had the gyro. We both had fries. The fries are homemade, sprinkled with sumac and so good. The falafel wrap was a little salty (my fault for ordering all the pickles things on it) but had lots of flavor. The falafels were crispy outside, creamy inside, and had lots of flavor. Hubby reported the gyro was really good and it smelled amazing. He also had the lemonade with mint (delicious). Service was quick and efficient, the staff were pleasant, and everything was super fresh. The place was spotless also. Looking forward to going back soon! read more

Delicious! I got a falafel flatbread with a bunch of toppings. Everthing was fresh, seasoned well, and tasted so good. My husband got the beef shwarma flatbread and was also wowed by the taste. We also got fries which were yummy. The lemon mint frozen drink is very good as well. Highly recommend checking them out. The workers are friendly and are happy to answer questions about the food. This place is absolutely delicious. I highly recommend you go and try their food. I went there last night and ordered about $100 worth of food to try several different options. I ordered both the beef and chicken shawarma sandwiches and bowls, falafel, hummus, fries, as well as some extra flatbread. NOTHING DISAPPOINTED!! The portions are more than generous and will leave you plenty of left overs! The food is fresh and the flavors are great! The services was nothing short of amazing as the people there are very kind and welcoming. It's so refreshing to have a restaurant in this area that serves excellent food and brings diversity to the cornfields of Illinois. WOW! This place is great! GET THE LIMONANA! (more info on that later.) We came from St. Louis to visit Hostas on the Bluff so I did a web search for a place to eat afterwards. After reading the reviews we decided to try it. The food was delicious with *very* generous portions - I don't know how one person could eat everything. The falafels were INCREDIBLE! I got the 12 piece order (not the wrap) They were tender and had great flavor. My sisters each got schwarma and those were excellent too. The tabbouleh salad was also outstanding. Then there was the Limonana - freshly made lemonade blended with fresh mint and ice so it's a slush. OH MY GOD!! I've never had limonana before, and I believe this is the Lebanese version with all the mint. I can't believe how fabulous it is! The flavors are very "in your face", so be prepared. It's more on the sour side which I love, and the copious amount of mint is perfection. I found a recipe so I can make it at home. I loved it as served but it would be great to mix with vodka or maybe silver tequila. I would go back here just for the falafel and the limonana! I'll link the recipe I'm going to try below. I paid $15 for a beef shawarma, the portion size was pretty good, the plating was clean but the shawarma itself was cold and while not under seasoned it definitely felt like something was missing. The fries were limp as well. I could barely hear the cashier because he was super quiet. The background music was great, it wasn't too loud but you could definitely still hear it. I'm glad to see this type of food served in the metro east. I hope they will continue to work to improve the quality of their food, especially as it relates to vegan entrees. I had a vegan wrap that was a bit disapponting. The falafel tasted as if it may have been fried in the same oil as meat. My stomach became a little upset by the meal a few minutes after I left the restaurant. The service was very good. The ambiance was satisfactory. It was nice weather so I sat outside. Holy smokes! So so good and the portions are insanely large. My friend and I got the gyro, chicken shawarma, order of hummus and bread, salad (cucumbers and tomatoes chopped up tiny and taste heavenly), and a 6 piece order of falafel. $44 for all of that for 2 of us and both of us had it for 2 meals. This is a much needed Mediterranean restaurant in an area that is starved for this kind of food. I got the Falafel sandwich and hummus, which was quite good. My husband and I ordered from West Bank on Sunday and we were NOT disappointed! He ordered the beef shawarma and I got the chicken shawarma bowl. All of the ingredients were fresh and delicious. The beef had a perfect crust and amazing flavor. We ended up sharing that, then saving the chicken bowl for our Monday lunch. So much food, good quality and it's delicious!
