I wish this place was around when I was growing up :) My choice picks would have to be the steak n cheese or the Five90 Club. Both are spectacular. Their unique interpretation of the Steak n Cheese is different but quite tasty. You'll see what I mean if you get one. They actually roast their own meats fresh daily. Even their mac n cheese is made with at least 5 kinds of real cheese. Everything is made fresh and you can taste it. They are only open during lunch or pick up only for dinner. The party was held outdoors in their pretty yard under a tent. Shuckin Truck was an absolute hit! They set up the outdoor raw bar...clams (littlenecks), oysters, and shrimp on ice, in a very attractive manner. The table was manned by a charming "shucker". There were an assortment of passed hors d'oeuvres which included lobster grilled cheese lobster triangles...these were indescribably delicious. Everyone was oohing and aahing over these. I also loved the smoked salmon on toast and the small cups of really tasty clam chowder. All the appetizers were incredibly delicious although I would say the lobster grilled cheese was the biggest hit. All of the staff were polite and friendly. After the appetizer round, the lobster rolls came out and they were simply spectacular. They were true New England lobster rolls on toasted square edged (this is key) frankfurter buns, and absolutely stuffed with chunks of delicious lobster meat that had been lightly dressed with mayo. Those rolls were out of this world, deliciously prepared and very generously filled with sweet lobster meat. They also served fabulous fish tacos. For the non-seafood eaters of which there were none at this party, they served a pulled pork taco which was spicy and delicious. The portions were generous and the food just kept on coming out. While there was plenty of additional food at this party from other vendors as well as some homemade additions, Shuckin' Truck was my favorite part of the overall feast. Great job! I would not hesitate to hire them for a party or to seek out the food truck wherever it was parked!

Our planner recommended them, and after comparing menus from other vendors, Blue Rocks stood out with their creative options and emphasis on fresh, local ingredients. We booked a tasting with our chosen dishes and were blown away--the food was better than restaurant quality, and our only hope was that they could replicate it on the big day. They absolutely delivered! The hand-passed appetizers on the Fort Adams lawn were a huge hit--especially the bacon-wrapped dates, scallops, and mini hot lobster rolls. Dinner was equally amazing, and impressively served hot and fresh despite the challenges of an outdoor venue. Our planner, who has attended countless tastings, even commented that it was some of the best catering she had ever experienced. We hired their coordinator for the day of and once we dropped off our centerpieces, etc., for the reception, I was free to spend the rest of the day getting ready, relaxing. I also enjoyed 3 of their freshly harvested oysters which were excellent. I enjoyed one of the local draft beers. The waitress was excellent and eating right after the tour made parking easy (valet only) and we beat the crowd. The oyster farm tour was fascinating and the tour guide (a 10 year employee) was great. (But I'm a nerd who loves learning about new things.)
