This was an outstanding company to do business with because of its Service Advisor, Greg Darr. Greg…read moreresponded immediately to my Yelp inquiry for 2 tire sensors & new tire lug nuts for my 2016 Malibu. His price for the tire sensors was the same cost as the Costco Tire Center, which unfortunately didn't carry tire sensors for a Malibu, & originally recommended 20 new lug nuts. Greg had his mechanic install the new lug nuts that I already had, at no additional cost. The facility has limited areas to wait, but there is a nearby coffee shop within a short walking distance. Greg was personable, smart, a great listener, efficient, professional, & made recommendations to save me money on future car repairs. Greg has earned my trust. West Coast Tires does all types of car work (example: oil changes, etc.), except for body work. I am grateful for Greg's honesty, & will return.

It still runs like a dream West Coast is honest, economical, trustworthy, friendly and actually cares. I just learned that dealers put locks on new cars so only dealers can service them. Oh no! I've been burned in the past by dealer services. We need choices. If you bring your car to West Coast they will give you prompt quality service that respects your wallet. After researching shops in West LA (reviews, convenience, and reputation), I chose Cook's Tires & Service and I'm really glad I did. They handled major work including the 90K service, gasket replacements, new tires, and a starter (plus other items along the way). Enrique and the crew were excellent: honest, straightforward, and easy to work with. Pricing was more than fair, and the service quality was solid from start to finish. Highly recommend Cook's Tires & Service if you want a shop you can actually trust.

The Good - Cook said the nail didn't fully puncture the tire and it didn't need to be replaced. So I appreciate the honesty for this part. 2. The Bad - Replacement of the front brakes. After a few months the brakes were still squeaking and I called to mention this and they said to drive the car longer and it will stop. A year later and they still squeak. I took the car to a mechanic for in inspection and was told that Cook used Oreilly brakes and did not use OEM BWM brakes. Cook did not offer it as an option. It is a 2022 BMW and the brakes the used are unsatisfactory. Had I known they would not use original parts or offer it, I would have had this service done elsewhere. I should have went to a BMW specialized mechanic.
