He paid attention to the full system including trenching, irrigation layout, gas line installation for the fire pit, plant placement, lighting, and more, making sure everything worked together piece by piece. What stood out most, and why we ultimately chose him, was how genuine he was about caring for our yard plans after talking with several other contractors around the valley and East Bay. I work as a creative lead and tend to be very particular about design and visual decisions, so I was honestly surprised how little feedback I had during the process. Not only did we request a custom kitchen design based on our architect and designers designs, we also needed custom cabinetry in our bathroom as well. We came across Belco Cabinets via our general contractor and boy are we glad we did. From the very first meeting we were treated with professionalism and respect. We know that we were not their biggest customer, nor did we spend more money than any other customer but they made us feel like we did. This is not a online clearinghouse, nor mass produced Chinese cabinetry. This is precise design and every time I called with a question about design, measurements, hardware, symmetry, paint colors, paint sheen, cabinet lighting, sliding drawers, specially cabinet design, heck even things in the kitchen that didn't have anything to do with cabinets but the kitchen in general; they answered the phone and greeted me by name. They were there day or night to walk us through the process. Even after the cabinets were installed and we needed some follow up we were treated like their most important customer. He was able to confirm that the leak was repaired properly from our previous contractor Rob Quenzer. He then restored the dry wall on the ceiling and matched the texturing to look like nothing ever happened. Kurt and Big John then came in and retextured the rest of our bathroom. Kurt called in his professional painter David. Because of Kurt's eye for color was obvious when he was able to match the unique color. He remembered the names of my little dogs and took care to keep them safe during the renovation. This is an amazing contractor
