We hired them for regular cleaning and were very upfront about our needs. I specifically told them not to use certain products and to only use what we provided because we have a baby at home and health concerns. Well, they completely ignored this and also wore their dirty outdoor shoes throughout the house - I mean, isn't that just common sense when you're supposed to be CLEANING someone's home? They left our floors actually dirtier than when they started. Then used their own harsh chemicals despite me clearly asking them not to and having our safe products right there available. When I called to discuss this (politely, I thought), their customer service rep Lulu was incredibly rude. She actually tried to tell me it was MY fault for not being clear enough! Are you kidding me? How much clearer can you be? The worst part is we have a baby crawling around on these floors. We had to re-clean everything ourselves and ended up worse off than when we started. My partner was livid. For what we paid, this was a complete waste of money. There are so many other cleaning services out there - do yourself a favor and pick literally any other one. When you have a baby, the last thing you need is a cleaning service that makes your home less safe.

However, because of this, the owner of the business Bo insisted that we get the "deep cleaning" instead. Since we have dogs and we likely don't do as good of a job as professionals, we thought about it and agreed. This brought the price to $300-320. The appointment day came and 2 cleaners came. Everything seemed fine, although they seemed to be cleaning rather fast, since they had cleaned 2 of the bedrooms and 2 of the bathrooms in 2 hours and this was supposed to be a "deep cleaning." This is when I got a text from the owner saying it was "much more work than expected" and the total was going to be $450, 4.5 times what we were originally quoted! Bewildered, we tried to press the owner to ask what exactly was "more work than expected," because it's not like our house is a disaster and they had 2 cleaners finish nearly the entire house in 2 hours. They refused to elaborate. I pressed again, asking, "So a simple sweep of dog hair and dog toy stuffing amounts to an extra $150 on top of what is already supposed to be a deep cleaning?" The owner responded with, "This is more than sweeping Sam," and then sent a picture of some dog hair, dog toy stuffing, a glove, and a cable cord tie that had been swept from out from underneath our sectional couch (picture attached). I asked again to elaborate but they only sent more pictures of dog hair or dog toy stuffing on the floor, nothing else, and they never elaborated further. They only ever said we'd "like the results" or the workers were "doing a good job," never answering the question. I continued to complain after the cleaners left, asking about what they possibly could have done to amount to what they wanted to charge, and at this point Bo started to repeatedly ask if I was home in attempt to bully me into paying their exorbitant rate. Exasperated, I pointed to their website saying they have an advertised 15% off cleaning for spring cleaning, and if I could at least apply that. Bo said no, their deep cleaning doesn't qualify for that discount, but they would allow us just this one time, as if they were doing us a service. I ended up paying that amount, which I regret and should have just paid them the original, agreed to max of $320. To this day, I still don't know what they meant by "more work than expected," and I also don't know what they did that amounted to a "deep clean" as opposed to a normal clean. Since then, we've had other companies bring our house to the same level of cleanliness for under $200 (with tip!) in a similar amount of time. Aga herself and a team came to my house which is pretty big job 5200sqft. My house was absolutely glowing afterwards. Throughout the years we'd use her service whenever we came up to this house as we were renovating our other one getting it ready to rent. She always made sure she had a team that could come to our home! Now that we're living here full time again we use her service weekly and since we are doing a MASSIVE spring clean/ home organization we're currently using her service 3xs a week. She has Evelyn and Daniel doing this daunting task for us and OMG Evelyn is an absolute power house and works miracles. Daniel will probably be a body builder after having to lift all the heavy tubs for us and move ridiculously heavy furniture to clean under it to get everywhere as clean we possible. Our home is looking absolutely amazing! Her pricing is also ALWAYS fair- after going through like 7-10 different companies and having places like Merry Maids rip us off while doing such a shitty job having found Blue Coast is seriously just such a find. The first appointment, they showed up over five hours late. Because of that, the owner promised that on the rescheduled cleaning he would send 2-3 cleaners to make it right. Even after I sent him videos and proof showing the poor quality of the work, he refused to refund even the amount I had overpaid. Rather than taking responsibility for failing to deliver what he promised, he kept my money. The prices are outrageous for the quality of work provided.
