I'm not even kidding, I tried to schedule an appointment for three months with various businesses. I either got their office staff who promised a call back IF I WAS LUCKY. I went to the Everett Home Show last weekend and met many terrific vendors and got information for a lot of the upcoming services and projects I need or anticipate needing. Air duct cleaning was one of those projects. Called and left a voicemail message to set up an appt. Matt called me back and gave me the rundown on a package service, most of which I didn't need with the exception of the duct cleaning which was advertised for $99 for up to 10 vents.....just what I needed. Brandon called yesterday to confirm our appointment for this morning. He called just before arrival. Did a walk through and started to clean the dryer vent. It took about an hour but what a difference the cleaning made. He showed me the bag full of lint he pulled from the vent. Told me that my hose from the dryer to the wall was to long and shortened it for me. He suggested that I have the vent cleaned about every 2 years. I will do this with them. They showed up promptly and stuck to their quote(word) on price. When they come to the house they inspect things and show you what you have going on. If you "choose" to have those things cleaned you can. They wrote up a cost list of items I "could" do if I wanted. I originally planned to only have vents and intakes cleaned. They will claim to clean your vents for a low, low price (like $49). But when they get to your house you're told that was only for 6 vents.
