I have had enough. While Go Green was the cheapest quote, you get what you pay for. My nightmare began in October 2025 and is still ongoing six months later. As of April 13th, I am still being double charged and the issue has not been resolved. I have been flexible and willing to work with them, but the owner Mark and the sales guy Loren made that impossible. Loren will say anything to close a deal. The lack of oversight is staggering. They refused to do a walkthrough with the installer and seller, which led to two heat pumps being installed incorrectly. They had to be moved, and that caused even more damage to my home. They also charged my credit card while "charging" a Synchrony loan, so I have been effectively double-charged for months. Now they refuse to speak on the phone and only send haphazard email replies that never resolve anything. They promised to fix the drywall in writing. This was necessary to repair their own mistakes and because I preferred to have the electrical work go through the house, which they agreed to. Instead, they sent a third-party worker and then demanded a massive payment for the repair. They eventually gave me a payment to cover the drywall fixes myself, which I am grateful for, but even that took over 3 months of fighting. The actual installers and electricians were amazing. They should go find a new job at another installer with actual integrity. My problem is entirely with Mark and Loren. Since they use AI for their reviews, expect a fake reply from Max below. Save your sanity and hire a company that won't hold your money hostage. read more

GoGreen installed a hyper heat pump system with AC in 2023 and it's been a nightmare ever since. We had to beg them to cover the exposed lines in the garage and to tape over messy connection points. Errors abound after install that they had lots of trouble resolving. Due to a misdirected email that we weren't supposed to be on, we saw that what they tell customers is different from what they discuss internally. System cools when there's no need to cool and heats when there's no need to heat. Register blows cold air in the winter when the system is in heating mode. Technicians have no idea how to fix any of it, and repeatedly make the problem worse (and then go radio silent) when they come for a service call. Go somewhere else. read more

Go Green was one of two companies I contacted for proposals to install a 4-indoor-unit mini-split system in my condo, and since the quotes were very similar pricewise, I ended up choosing Go Green based on reviews/testimonials. They worked with me to plan the installation to be "HOA friendly," with the best esthetics possible for a condenser/compressor installed on an upstairs balcony, and with all the cabling and refrigerant lines running through my attic crawlspace (instead of along the outside of the building). Due to using the attic like that, it means the indoor units all have condensate pumps also, to pump the condensate to the drain lines on the balcony. The installation was scheduled to take place over 2 days. Installer (Andrey) arrived on time and worked for about 6 hours on the first day, with the electrician visiting for a few hours to set up the electrical hookup. On the 2nd day Andrey he had a helper, but they were running behind and after the helper left, he ended up staying late to finish up so he didn't have to return for a 3rd day. Negotiating things like where the indoor units should go in each room, and where exposed conduit covers might be visible, was a good experience both during the proposal phase and during the installation itself (where we made some adjustments). We even upgraded one of the indoor units "on the fly" to a higher BTU rating, based on room size and a reassessment of need. The overall experience was good, and the system is working well so far (although there haven't been any particularly cold or hot days yet to really exercise it). Overall esthetics are good. Here are some final thoughts that come to mind: cost was higher than I expected, but the competitive proposal was pretty much identical, so my expectations were apparently based on the outdated pricing my parents got when they had a similar system installed several years ago; I would've liked to see a better itemized proposal, to understand and compare cost of equipment, supplies, and labor, but despite asking for this, all I got was some half-baked excuses for why such itemization is not provided; the installer, Andrey, was courteous and professional, tried to be quiet when I was in meetings while working from home, and used lots of drop cloths and a vacuum cleaner to ensure cleanliness (he left the place looking as clean as when he first arrived). Overall, a good experience. The only thing left is to settle up, and to have their drywall guy come by and fix some unavoidable damage the electrician did while running the new 230V line from the subpanel to the balcony. read more

GoGreen Heating has been fantastic to work with! We were in need of hiring an HVAC contractor after our GC ghosted us and left us with an unfinished project. When we stepped in to guide the project to completion, the HVAC had been roughed in but was not yet finished. We were in a rush to finish our home remodel, and getting the HVAC system up and running was critical since we couldn't install flooring without it. This put a lot of pressure on getting everything done quickly, but GoGreen handled it with care and expertise. TL;DR: I had a great experience with Go Green on a previous install, so I hired them again for a new ADU project. Things started off well, but during the final install, a missing control wire became an issue. Despite them running the lines, they're now saying it's my responsibility, want to charge $1500 to fix it, and won't cover drywall damage. Communication has since gone silent. Disappointed, especially after such a positive first experience. ---- Let me start by saying that I previously hired Go Green to install a mini split at my former home to replace a broken furnace, and I was extremely pleased with both the installation and the team's communication. They were professional, collaborative, and helped us find the best solution for our space. Because of that great experience, I reached out to them again when it came time to install a mini split in a newly built ADU in my backyard. Their sales team was once again helpful and responsive--offering multiple options within my budget and working with us early in the construction process to ensure the lines could be run inside the walls. Since my father is a licensed electrician, we opted to handle the electrical work ourselves, just as we had done previously. Go Green had no issue with this approach the first time, and we were under the impression that it would be the same this time around. On the day the lines were installed, both the installer and sales rep came out, walked us through the plan, and coordinated with our general contractor. It was noted in passing that we'd be using our own electrician, but no further discussion took place about wiring responsibilities. A couple of months later, once the interior was ready, we scheduled the final installation. The appointment was originally set for 8:00-8:30 AM, but the night before, I was informed it had to be pushed to 12:00-12:30 PM due to an emergency. I adjusted my schedule and but had to take a half day off work to accommodate. During the install, the technician (Andre) mentioned that a control wire was missing and that they'd need to cut into the drywall to adjust the condensation pipe. We agreed to the drywall change, but noted that if the control wire was missing, it should be addressed by Go Green since they had run the lines. After the install, the team left without further discussion. When I followed up, I was told by the installer that the control wire was our responsibility because we used our own electrician. He claimed this had been communicated months earlier, but none of us recall that conversation. I reached out to Vlad, our sales rep, to explain the situation and the complications now involved in retrofitting the wire through finished, insulated walls. Vlad was understanding and said he'd speak with the owner. A few days later, I received an email stating that Go Green would not take responsibility for the missing wire, but would install it for an additional $1,500--and would not cover any drywall damage caused in the process. Since then, I've reached out to Vlad and Mark (previous sales rep I worked with) but haven't received a response. The answering service has been courteous and assures me my messages are being passed along, but it feels like I'm being ignored. It's disappointing, especially after such a positive first experience. We hired Go-Green to install a Mitsubishi system consisting of a wall-mounted outdoor compressor, attic heat exchanger, and ducting and vents throughout our house. During the project Mark, Kelli, Jeremy, and Abel from Go-Green were communicative, and extremely knowledgeable. Jeremy in particular was excellent and helped us narrow down on the right system type, system sizing, and several other aspects of the project. Once the project started the Go-Green employees were very nice. There were some issues during the install: the wrong hardware showed up originally, a worker slipped and put their hand through the ceiling, and originally the coolant lines weren't routed where we had asked for. But every single issue was corrected quickly and to our satisfaction. Their installation foreman Abel was excellent, he truly cared about the quality of the work and paid attention to the details once he arrived at our job. In 2022, Go Green installed four AC units for us. Looking back and now having used the AC units and their service for two years, I realized I must leave a review to spread the word. The initial installation process was smooth, and the final quality was excellent. Here are the two main reasons why I gave them a five-star rating: 1. Their pricing is very reasonable, especially considering the good and timely service they provide compared to other companies around Seattle. We obtained three quotes, and theirs was the lowest without any drop in quality or service. Since the installation, they have gone above and beyond with their customer support and follow-up help. More on that below. 2. They truly prioritize their customers' needs, both new and old. I believe this stems from their management style and the company culture they have established, along with the people they hire. We noticed one of our AC units was slightly blowing cold air even when it was off, while another unit was on. Sometimes it would ice over or drip cold water. It didn't bother us much for two years because we didn't run them all the time, and it wasn't a big deal. This year, before the summer temperatures rose again, we wanted them to come and see what was going on. They came swiftly and took a look. Initially, they thought the units might be cross-wired, but it turned out to be a bad motherboard on the outside unit. Hardware problem and not related to the the company's or their installation. During the investigation, the bad motherboard's fuse also blew out. To get us up and running as quickly as possible, they came up with two solutions: first, they tried to change the fuse temporarily for the short term to keep us at least partially operational while ordering a whole new motherboard. The short-term approach didn't work, but luckily, they found a new motherboard in one of their nearby warehouses within a few days. The whole time during this process, they communicated with us every step of the way very clearly, explaining things to us and making sure we're on the same page. While dealing with all this, they also updated the aesthetics of the AC pipe casings in three corners, making them look much better. This is what I mean when I say they went above and beyond. For some reason, we've had off/on problems with our Mitsubishi ductless heating/air conditioning unit that was installed approximately eight years ago. We've had a few different contractors come out to fix it but the air conditioning always seems to break down after about 1.5 years. We decided to try Go-Green based on their Yelp reviews to see if we could keep the unit working long-term. We bought a house with a Mitsubishi mini-split heat pump, the unit was in need of a serious cleaning. We called Go-Green and the technician Juan came over to give the unit a basic maintenance. The blower and motor still needed to be cleaned as well so we had Juan come back to give the unit a much deeper cleaning. Juan is really great, very friendly and does great work, he really knows his stuff and knows all the tricks for getting at the parts that need attention. Now the unit is finally clean and no longer has its funky smell, it is basically as good as new. Juan had to grapple with a couple of things with our system since it had not been cleaned in so long, but he knew just what to do. We're really happy with Juan and the servicing by Go-Green. read more

Last Spring I had 3 Mitsubishi mini-ductless splits installed just in time to beat the heat and humidity. The team was extremely kind and professional throughout the entire installation. Starting with Ryan, who was such a great point of contact. I had even chosen a place for my living-room install that looked horrible (my fault), but luckily they hadn't hooked up the electric so I was able to have them move it. They were very patient in a narrow area with a tight ladder situation. And when a pump wasn't working they came back and fixed it. Also fixed a wiring when the unit was going to defrost. Just a great experience and it's also nice take I can call them to service the units. But the end of the install, the techs were cuddling my barky dogs. read more

After the heat wave of 2021 and the wildfire smoke the last few summers, we decided we needed to add air conditioning to our 1967 home. I solicited bids from seven HVAC contractors and Go-Green had the most competitive pricing and best product availability. Mark was responsive and helped us through the process. We selected an American Standard dual fuel system: heat pump for AC and most of the home heating, and a natural gas furnace for backup heat or if the outside air temp is too cold for the heat pump to produce heat. We wanted to lessen our natural gas use and so far the heat pump has done that. Brandon, Abel and Jesse did the installation and did good work, easy to coordinate with and seemed prompt. Some room for improvement on cleanup of the crawlspace after they were done. The system has been working great these first few months for heating and cooling, though we haven't had extreme temps yet. I'm relieved to have AC at the ready when temps are high or air quality is poor. I definitely recommend calling Go-Green for anyone that needs HVAC work. read more

BUYER BEWARE: I signed a contract with Go-Green in May to install AC in my condo unit My initial estimate was $18k+ for multi zone system with heat pump, two Mitsubishi units, city permits required and installation. I had very little knowledge about AC installation, but assumed that when you are paying $18k+ in equipment and install costs that Go-Green would do what was in the best interest of the customer. -The installation happened first week of August, Instead of doing what is best for the customer they took advantage of the fact that I had little knowledge and proceeded to install all the refrigerant lines and electrical on the outside of my living room and bedroom walls to do what was easiest for Go-Green's install team. I brought up my concerns multiple times during the install, but they just kept proceeding with it. I ended up having to do hours of research figure out how to correct the installation so it did look so awful and repeat over and over again that ABSOLUTELY NO ONE HAS AN INSTALLATION THAT LOOKS THIS TERRIBLE. Even after I came up with the solution (which I proposed after talking to multiple people who had a previous AC installation, hours spent on Reddit and discussion with the facility manager in my condo building), Go-Green tried to convince me that the solution was not possible. -They did fix the install mid-September which cost an additional $6.5k on top of the original $18k+ to re-run the refrigerant lines through the ceiling and wall, but it ended up wasting $8k as the previous installation which had to be completely redone. On the Go-Green contract one of their marketing promises is that they have years of installation experience and they will get it right the first time. That was completely false in my case. So unless you are already an expert in heat pumps and AC installation and can direct the Go-Green team, I would not recommend using them. read more

I'm looking for a heating system to replace our old system and gave Go-Green a call and spoke to Jeremy. I've not made a decision about what sort of equipment and which contractor to use but was impressed with Jeremy's information and honesty. He let me know that, based on his current understanding, if heating efficiency was my main goal then getting my water-based radiant system up and running with an efficient boiler was more efficient than their main technology, ductless heat pumps. Jeremy did let me know there are advantages to consider for heat pumps such as air filtration and air cooling, among others. If heat pumps make the cut I'll definitely give Go-Green a call. read more

Broken from day one, then ghosted. We had a 3 unit mini-split installed by go-green a few years ago. For the past couple seasons, we started subtly noticing that maybe the units weren't cooling and heating very well - but with mini-splits you sometimes wonder if you haven't just started them soon enough and let them run long enough or whatever, so we weren't sure. Finally, it became obvious that there was something wrong with the cooling, so we called to try to get service, but they were several days out to help us, and it was getting really hot. So we tried someone else, and found out that the system was slowly leaking coolant from day one, and we also had to pay $2200 for extra troubleshooting due to go-green not labeling the wires and tubes, which is common practice. So, I know companies and people make mistakes, but the reason for the one star review is that I have tried to contact go-green by email and phone for over two weeks, was told that I would receive a reply, and still nothing. So, poor workmanship, and lack of accountability. I highly recommend using a different company for your AC needs. read more

After literally spending 2 years over the pandemic trying to find an HVAC contractor to show up at our 3 story townhouse, give us an actionable estimate, and complete the work to install a mini-split system to cool our hothouse down, Go-Green did all of this, this summer, exactly when they said they'd do it, with the equipment they quoted for us, at exactly the price they said they could get for us (which was quite reasonable for what we wanted). We had a hydronic heating system go bad and cause water damage throughout our house. We took the opportunity to review options and came up with replacing the system with a heating and A/C mini-split. We got multiple quotes and interacted with many companies. Go-Green was the clear winner. They offered best pricing and hands down the best customer service. All this was happening during a pandemic in which my wife and I are healthcare workers with long hours. Jeremy sent tons of information, phone calls, and let my wife do a FaceTime walkthrough of their sales floor while I was at work so I could see the products as well. Above and beyond! Then, the install went amazing. Chris was a personable and knowledgeable technician who asked preferences before moving forward on any piece of the project. The electrician, Adam from 24/7 Electric, was extremely helpful as well. They were a well oiled machine. The end product is beautiful and my neighbors said they didn't notice it until I pointed it out to them. The final touch: they even came and decommissioned our old hydronic system and we piped our water heater. Granted this took some time as they had to schedule it with another team member. Mark came in that following week and took it apart. When replacing the copper pipes he noticed the lines attached were leaky, left for Home Depot to get new lines to an added security... and did not charge extra. Again, above and beyond. However, the equipment markup from the quote was a full 100%, which is more markup than i can stomach when we're already talking about an MSRP of several thousand dollars. He offered to re-schedule the appointment for a time that my schedule allowed, showed up on time and was very responsive and helpful. I asked GoGreen for a bid on a ductless heat pump / mini-split system for our attic. Ryan took his time and patiently helped me think through options for where interior air handlers could be installed, what that would mean at a high level for the install complexity (and price), and thought outside the box to try and find solutions. In the end, my space was too challenging for my initial vision, and I decided to scale it back to a simpler install. GoGreen's bid was very competitive with my other top choice in terms of price, and their conduct was just as professional. When I booked the service, I clearly stated that I need a thorough leak search,. After waiting for about 10 days, two people came to our house. I was first very happy and expect there would be a thorough test. It turned out one of the guys might be a fresh new hire. What they did was only determined there was a leak via hooking a common diagnostic equipment to our outdoor unit. But I already told them in every my communication with this company. After hearing my complaint, the tech lead emailed me a few emails with responses and proposals. Yet, those emails seem to be from AI, as they were long and seemed well written, YET, not really addressed my concerns. For example, they wanted me to agree to pay them for an initial inspect to confirm there was a leak --- So I asked them what was the visit by that two guys called if it was not an initial inspection. No I cannot recommend Mark (Go-Green heating) purely for lack of response. Heat Pump was installed by Mark. Granted it is out of warranty after 1.5 year (company just text me and told me so). However, I have been trying to get in touch with Mark since Jul 10 until lately the text said unit in not under warranty, due to staffing issue please contact other vendor. Mark: You installed the HEAT PUMP 1.5 year ago, you came back fixed the AC 7 weeks ago after MANY MANY text /phone calleds and you swapped out the thermostat to a wireless one and now the HEAT HVAC burn the fuse every single time. You don't response to my text nor phone calls for at leat 4 weeks. and FINALLY a phone call to your office via a different route prompt a separate text telling me to go somewhere else. NOTE: I have not SPOKEN to Mark personally only to his voice mail and left at least 15 text messages with no response. A phone call to me 2 months ago would have worked I believer.
