I was quoted an estimated total of $43.07 for a local truck rental, but after returning the truck I was charged $93.34. The charge included 24 miles and 2 gallons of gas, despite only driving 22 miles and returning the truck fueled above the full marker. When I presented my drop-off photos and fuel transaction, instead of simply correcting the bill, they offered a partial correction. They refused to remove the 2-gallon fuel charge and acted like they were doing me a favor only partially overcharging me. If you rent here document everything and do not assume that they will correct the bill willingly.

I called right away to ask why my card was charged these extra charges. After getting no where with the first customer service rep I asked to speak with a manager. After over an hour the manager said one charge was due to damage and the other excessive miles. We did neither. She researched and found out indeed it was a mistake on the mileage and said she would be happy to credit us $314. The other charge would have to be disputed. The disputed process is a joke and Uhaul has no intention of cresting the $376 charge. They say the have a picture to prove we did the damage however it is not their practice to share any photos with a customer! After another very long phone call and being rudely interrupted by a Uhaul Manager named "George" my husband and I were out of patience and understanding. We are stuck with a charge that is NOT ours to pay! Take pictures of your entire truck when you pick it up even the top of the truck! Don't pay for extra insurance it does nothing! Take a picture of your odometer at pick up and drop off. UHaul is a dishonest and unworthy company. Don't trust any employee because they all you give you untrustworthy information that customers end up paying for. Very disappointing such an old company is being ran so poorly.

Timing belt is still good 57,000 miles later. The front counter people I had contact with are competent and they are not stingy or impatient about giving out information and are forthright. They usually have the lowest prices too, (except for a wheel axle I needed repaired) sometimes their prices are only a little bit lower, other times far lower than competing chains. I am giving this shop 4 stars because i am comparing them to other chains and All Tune quotes were never outrageous. I trust their competence but they are not the fastest shop most likely because they wait longer for parts than other chains do. There are coupons floating out there for this shop that will give you up to $50 off so try to find them.

I was slightly confused why the price of a tune up that I paid was nearly $100 more than what was advertised on their board. The longest wait, honestly was while waiting for the parts to arrive. They also advertised free break checks with every service, the paper they handed back to me had a line drawn through the brake portion which may indicate I'm ok, but in other locations they are pretty good about detailing everything out. Not here. I'm thinking they didn't check it. My car seems to running ok. Not sure if I'd go back though. While I was waiting for my car, a lady came in and said her oil check light came on. She had her car serviced a few weeks ago at the same location. Her car was a newer car and she alleged this was the first time it's ever come on. I only saw one mechanic also. Which makes me wonder how he was single handedly working on multiple cars. In closing, I asked them to change the interior air filter and the rear window wiper blade. We did a walk through, we all got to work and got things packed up faster than I had anticipated. I have a giant glass reptile enclosure that I was very nervous about moving, but they understood the assignment and my reptile and her glass mansion arrived intact! They were so courteous, worked with precision and took care of my belongings. At the end they made sure I was happy and if there was anything else I wanted done before they left.
