It's a better deal online. We drove up to Tulip Town first and parking was included. The weather was perfect for photos and friends recommended us to wear rain or hiking boots. Not all the flowers were blooming but the view was still awesome! There were some cute shops for souvenirs. We headed south to Skagit Acres afterwards. Great experience! We had so much fun!

A long time ago, my son tried to steal something from a store we went to. He was younger, but…read morestill. I wanted to let him know it's not ok. I took him to the sheriff's office, told them what happened and asked them to play along. As soon as I brought my son in, an officer came in and asked him if his name was so and so...my son just shook his head yes and started crying. Obviously at this point I felt bad for him. The officer explained to him what could've happened to him, and why it's bad to steal. I was very impressed with how they played along with no judgement at all to help a mom out.

You may ask, what's go'n on at the fairgrounds when the "fair" is not being held. Well, this past weekend they held their annual Garage sale and Antique's sale. More of a open air flea market, where they actually had more fleas than much of a market, for a $1.00 per person and $2.00 for parking we walked around the various barns and poked around at what the locals had in the way of used items to offer for sale. My Mom found a few items she just couldn't live without. I toted bags back and worth from the seller's stalls to the car and got my daily work-out in. My mom, Starch-boy and his buddy had a grand time walking and looking around. I was somewhat satisfied with my luke-warm corndog, but hey, it's better than nothing! We were looking for a pumpkin patch that didn't charge crazy admission! This was FREE to get in!…read more And this is the PRETTIEST pumpkin patch I've ever been to! Guaranteed for cute backdrop photos, great for kids/families and it's such a big farm overall! Such a variety of pumpkins, squash and gourds! They have delicious hot apple cider and pumpkin donuts. Fresh produce and fruits, and honey too with apple cider available for purchase! They have a cornmaze for $7 admission, sunflowers and just a cute vibe all around. It is pretty popular too! The pumpkins are reaosnably priced if you're getting small and medium sized ones (not sure about the big ones). There were a lot of ppl with wagons purchasing big pumpkins so expect a line if you're visiting this month!

Parking was okay; there weren't a lot of spots, but it's very close to the farm. The farm was nicely decorated with different types of gourds and pumpkins, and they even had a giant talking witch! "Legally Blonde " sounded like a bunch of women SCREECHING at the top of their lungs! Very Very disappointing, yet this venue continues to disappoint on a large scale! SHAME ON THEM, Unfortunately we weren't even seated near the Orchestra. Typically an Orchestra is in the "pit", where it doesn't Drown out everything else. Very, very disappointing, the Sound Tech's were unable to monitor the problem, but seemed emphatic and aware of the problem! Yet they continue to dissapoint.

I stumbled across this gem of a roadside attraction in Burlington, Washington on my way to the…read moreChuckanut Scenic Byway along the coast. My husband and I both gasped when we passed the museum, in a "did you just see what I saw," kind of way. We absolutely love the weird and whimsical finds we discover on road-trips. Unfortunately, the museum wasn't open, so my review is simply based on the roadside attraction appeal in terms of selfie-spots. The exterior of this museum does not disappoint! Visitors will find statues of Sasquatch and all sorts of Bigfoot-related ephemera. I very much hope to check out the interior of the museum on my next pass through town, upon which I'll update this review and provide details about their hours of operation. You know there's more to this story!
