I took my 2014 Dodge Durango RT to Dr Mopars High Performance after shopping endless hours with performance shops from NC, SC, to VA. Not quite sure how I ended up here, but so glad I did. I had a blown head gasket on my Durango, that even regular repair shops didn't want to touch. So I decided on just doing a full engine rebuild. Everything new except the block, crankshaft, and heads. (The heads basically received everything new, and polished ports!) With a little bit of performance upgrades like cam, throttle body, headers, MDS delete kit, lifter and springs, catch can, coils. And I'm sure I missed something in the list?! Also received a full transmission fluid and filter change. Well, she is back in the driveway, and man oh man, does she roar. Well worth the wait. And 1/3 of the cost of all those huge performance garages. I will say this, Chris always returned ALL of my texts. He always kept me informed along every milestone. They quoted me the job and went above and beyond to get it done. Even making a few trips to Raleigh to pick up and drop off the drive shaft. Best part. I also discovered that they take their cars to a garage close by in the city that exchange the car parts with faulty car parts and they get their mechanic to make things appear as though everything is fine even if it isn't. So you think everything is good when you drive the car off the lot even probably while your test driving it, but give it about a month or two to really find out if they are serious problems with your car that they probably already knew about.
