"We don't sell those, only the whole thing" was not the reply I was looking for. I don't feel like chipping the stone on my house to replace an entire spigot head. I call frantically around to hardware stores. I call True Value, "yes we have that, we close in 30 minutes". So I fly across town to this place, which I admit is hard to find if you don't know what you are looking for. I walked in with the spigot handle, which had the washer attached, however the screw holding the washer had its head broken off. The guy there CUTS the washer off, and uses a Vice Grip to pull the broken screw out. If this had gone wrong, I would have been without water for the weekend, but it was no problem. He pulls out a new washer, a new screw and some graphite packing, and I am home with a fixed spigot in no time flat. I LOVE this place. Every time I go there, they are extremely helpful, and the only hardware store I will go to now if possible here in Erie. They have helped me with random fittings and build something that is what I am looking for. The Best!!

He takes your money and orders from Amazon to ship directly for you. I might add at more than twice the cost. If you want to return, he charges 25% restocking fee. In another review response here, he says the restocking fee is to cover his time and effort for packing up and shipping the process. Funny that it is Amazon doing his work. So for a $280 product, charges $70 to return. Only cost him $106 on Amazon. He then probably sells the return on the "Clearance" section of his website. His other comment to me was "We buy and ship from 3 vendors... like other businesses buy for one price and sell for another. " Right but honest businesses don't represent the product as theirs and ship from another retailer. Super shady... Buyer beware.

I bought a set for nearly $500 and based off the description thought it came with the doors. I was so disappointed and shocked to see I paid $500 JUST for the hardware . Same day I reached out to the company but they wanted to charge a 25% restocking fee. Again the restocking fee just to return is the same price to just buy hardware from a competitor so that didn't make sense. I held onto the set, never opened the box, and waited for a bigger project worth this "extremely expensive hardware" We had just purchase a $400,000 property, built doors and for the first time opened the box. We were APPALLED to see we paid nearly $500 for UNFINISHED raw steel. I can't even use the handles because they are marked in plain sight huge "CHINA" this company brags about being made in USA but they use CHINA parts. My husband said he could have built this same exact kit for $40!! When reaching out to the owner he offered absolutely no help but bragged how he sells 1000's of these without complaints. Meanwhile I see the same set I ordered now selling on his website for less than 300. I feel like he is a crook who took our money, provided a low quality product, and doesn't have enough pride in his business to do the right thing despite multiple emails and attempts over 3 years to do the right thing. Very disappointed! Save your money and shop elsewhere. I'm a Realtor and real estate investor and have seen many similar products installed for a fraction of the price that are MUCH higher quality!

I was able to get everything on the list of stuff I needed. The people who work there were really helpful. I made keys, found furniture polish, hinges-- all kinds of obscure things in one place. Top-notch customer service. They tend to keep their workers long-term for the most part. I don't know them by name but the lady is really helpful as are the older guys who work there. I had an issue where I needed a screw for a deadbolt. The guy looked through their vast screw selection and even went in the back to look at the oddball screws and couldn't find it. So what'd they do? He seriously (after checking with the manager) busted a deadbolt package, grabbed one of the screws and gave it to me. Now that is customer service! I've also had issues where I showed them photos on my phone and they recommend a product or a specific sized piece of wood for a job. They're usually correct in their recommendations. I will do my best to come here more often to buy as their customer service and expertise is much better than the big-box stores.

I shop at Lowes so many times for over 40 years and about the customer service staff. This never happened to us before that we can not returned things that we do not want.

I ordered two fence panels on a Thursday for a Saturday delivery. On a Friday the employee who was…read moreloading up the truck for Saturday deliveries called to let me know they did not have two panels in stock, and that somebody would give me a call from customer service. I did not receive a call on Friday,Saturday, Sunday or Monday. On Tuesday I called the Lowe's to speak to customer service about my order that had not been delivered. The phone system was automated and very hard to navigate to a human. I was placed on hold for seven minutes and then disconnected. I was placed on hold for eight minutes and then I called and spoke to customer service who put me on hold and never came back so I hung up. I called again and got the same employee who put me on hold so that she could find out how to help me and I was on hold for another eight minutes and then I hung up. I received a phone call back about 45 minutes later and the employee said that they would refund my money. Lowe's needs to step up its customer service.
