We just bought a lot of electrical supplies. Spent a lot money. We need to return 1 thing l, a ruler that we do not need. Remy and all the ladies in the customer service department are so rude to me giving me a bad look and would not allow me returned even though we have the receipt and just bought 2 weeks ago and never been used. My son went in again today to returned it and the customer service department said no. I live in Erie for over 40 something years and I do know retail. I shop at Lowes so many times for over 40 years and about the customer service staff. This never happened to us before that we can not returned things that we do not want. read more

I ordered two fence panels on a Thursday for a Saturday delivery. On a Friday the employee who was loading up the truck for Saturday deliveries called to let me know they did not have two panels in stock, and that somebody would give me a call from customer service. I did not receive a call on Friday,Saturday, Sunday or Monday. On Tuesday I called the Lowe's to speak to customer service about my order that had not been delivered. The phone system was automated and very hard to navigate to a human. I was placed on hold for seven minutes and then disconnected. I was placed on hold for eight minutes and then I called and spoke to customer service who put me on hold and never came back so I hung up. I called again and got the same employee who put me on hold so that she could find out how to help me and I was on hold for another eight minutes and then I hung up. I received a phone call back about 45 minutes later and the employee said that they would refund my money. Lowe's needs to step up its customer service. read more

We have spent an extraordinary amount of money in both of these stores. We rarely need to make returns, but we just had a recent instance of having to return 5 bags of polymeric sand because we decided to have the job done by a contractor. I saved the receipt and my husband went to the store to return the sand. It was a VERY UNPLEASANT experience to learn that there is a 90 day window on returns (with receipt) and NO EXCEPTIONS ARE GRANTED FOR A RESELLABLE ITEM such as polymeric sand! Needless to say, we have made our LAST purchase at Lowes and I will be sharing this VERY NEGATIVE experience EVERYWHERE I can. read more

Getting really ANNOYED. I just purchased a home and nearly everything I have ordered from Lowes has been damaged upon arrival, both shipped and picked up. Two medicine cabinets, two vanities, and a sink. Also, I had a faucet added to my order that I never ordered. Lowes rectified that, but if I hadn't noticed ..... I only choose Lowes over Home Depot due to the 5% off when you use your charge, but the schlepping of the returns is getting to be too much. read more

If I could give Lowes & their countertop fabricator & installation team (Rocksolid Surfaces) a zero rating I would. I ordered & paid for my countertops July 17, 2024 the installation was finally completed April 11, 2025 - 8 1/2 months later. There was not one step in this process that went smoothly. They came in & did the measurements & wanted to apply change orders - i.e. additional charges, then appeared to lose the order, finally scheduled the installation then called to move up the installation, which I could not accommodate. They then called to me on the day they had wanted to move the installation up to to let me know they could not do the installation on the scheduled date as they did not have the material to complete the project. A month later they installed it. I had two 12 foot countertops & a bathroom vanity top put in. They chipped the pieces at the seam of one of the countertops & the backsplash looked like amateurs had done the work. The next day the other countertop shifted so the seam was not even. They came back after multiple calls & trips to the store & fixed the one countertop that had shifted & removed the other one & were going to recut a piece & re-install it. When they came back to re-install the countertop the pieces didn't fit & to me the replacement piece did not appear to be cut correctly. They took these back & were to re-cut both pieces. When they were installing the top at this time or taking it off they also damaged my new cabinets. They finally re-cut the pieces & re-installed the countertop. To me it doesn't appear to be the same quality cut & finish as the other one but that is possibly my negativity at this point. With each visit the vanity top seemed to be lost & forgotten but I did get pieces which were to replace the mess that was originally installed, on one of the visits & made sure to keep them on site. On their final visit the 2 gentlemen that came did fix this & it is much better but again they were not told about this part of the project. I've made over 36 phone calls to Lowes & 19 visits to the store since this project was started I've been told to get any kind of refund or discount on the project for how long it has taken I would need to wait for the project to be completed. Since the completion of the project I've had no follow-up from Lowes & in fact went to the store to inquire about this on Sunday & was told I would need to work with the national service & that they would be reaching out to me. As of Thursday I hadn't heard anything so I called their national installation line & was told they didn't even have this project marked as being installed. Once again I'm on hold & waiting for Lowes to get back to me to see how much of a refund or discount I will get for all the issues with this job. Amazingly my best friend started building a house 3 months after I ordered my countertops & his daughter & son-in-law moved in 2 weeks before my countertops were finally installed correctly. read more

I have done business with Lowe's for over 15 years. In fact I choose to shop with Lowe's over Home Depo.... at least I use to. The fact that I received a letter today stating that they have lower my credit amount for no reason makes me wonder if they really value their customers. I am aware that Lowe's uses a bank for their line of credit. It became very clear that bank was not making enough interest off of my line of credit therefore lower it, which makes it more difficult to make home improvement purchases. I will not support a business who's main objective is to make their customers go broke by maintaining a high balance on a credit card so we have to pay way more for product than we should. I had to give at least 1 star in order to post this.. I would at this point give 0 stars. You should evaluate your business partners. read more

I am infuriated with the Lowe's service team. They were paid to hook up my washer and dryer, and they didn't do anything but hook up the water lines for the washer. They left a huge mess for me to fix, and tracked mud around my clean carpeting. The worst kick in the shin they gave me was the fact that they left the drain hose hanging in the laundry tub, and the washer pushed up against the wall, so it seemed as though they hooked it up. They even told me that everything was hooked up and ready to go. I put my first big load of clothing in the washer, and it drained ALL OVER MY BASEMENT! I would never depend on Lowe's to do anything right ever again. I would definitely recommend steering clear of Lowe's if you ever need an appliance installed. I'm completely dissatisfied. read more

I'm giving Lowes one star because they let us down twice. We picked out the picnic table that was perfect for us few knots and none of them were on the bench. We taped our purchase receipt on to the table and left. Believing that what we had purchased would get to us. But the story Lowes gave us that the truck broke down and use the Lowe's Truck Delivery, they actually told my wife it caught fire. Ok, a multi-million dollar company can't afford a truck, Lowes this is why people no longer trust big companies, we the customers are smarter than you give us credit for and your punishment will be that we don't do business with you any longer. We won't visit or step foot in your door, and we know that big business does not care about people anymore, the faith and religion is the dollar. When the Lowe's Truck Delivery showed up the guy came to the door and told my wife we don't think you are going to want this table. The table was rotten, cracked. Why the hell would you load it on the truck in this condition? And this was NOT the picnic table we have purchased, ours was gone and Lowes claimed no responsibility at all. The tale they had spun was that someone had switched it and taken yours. And employee or customer. Well which is it? Because both stories suck! When a customer buys something you put it aside, its not for sale anymore. Its theirs you can't resell something or I guess we should consider calling this bait and switch. Or screw the customer that has been buying items for years. They called my wife back and said we have another table they did, it had knots in the seats so you would tear a hole in your legs and ass when you sat down. Jesus these guys not only give poor customer service they are legally blind because they would not want this at their house either. They called again and asked if I could look at the another table I did and it was as bad as the second one. I think this must a game for them on the company calendar, its that time of month to screw with the customer, well Lowes enjoy your one star. read more

Purchased a dishwasher and garbage disposal here to install in a house we just bought after moving up from FL. I wanted to take advantage of the $100 rebate by signing up for a store card. I was denied credit even though my score is over 800. I tried contacting Lowe's credit but after speaking with 4 different people, they finally just hung up on me. We are a Home Depot family now. read more

I tried to return an item at this store. The item was purchased at a different Lowes store. it was unopened and in perfect condition. I did not have my receipt. The clerk told me that she would have to issue me a store credit. Perfect. This is what they have done in the past. The clerk asked for my drivers license. She entered my information. Then said there is a problem she couldn't issue a return without my receipt. I told her that I needed to speak to a manager. Ivan the manager came to the counter he told me that I had to have a receipt I asked him to over ride the system and that I spend a lot of money at Lowe. After all I am a gold status Lowe's pro. He stated that it didn't matter how much I spend and to have a good night This was by far the worst customer service that I ever experienced at a Lowe's store. I purchased a new Whirlpool refrigerator and it was delivered on May 28,2022....not even 3 months ago. At the beginning of August it started making a loud noise that made it difficult to sleep. Repair was called and a thermostat was replaced and I lost all the freezer food. One week later and here we are again...4 days of a loud refrigerator noise while I wait 4 days for a repairman and water all over the floor, plus food melting in the freezer. I have a refrigerator that isn't even 3 months old and the Main Control is shot! The best part is they are out of stock and can't replace it in a timely fashion. I called Lowes....won't do a darn thing to help me. A Main Control in a brand new refrigerator is not acceptable on any level. Lowes needs to step up and help! read more

The store usually has what I am looking for, but the online "Aisle x Bay y" tracker isn't always intuitive - for example Food-Grade Mineral Oil in Aisle 701 Bay 3. This specific item led me to ask a team member, Bob, where the item is. He started off by saying that I'm foolish for being young and still trusting computers. After mentioning to him that I usually trust computers, as the Lowes website is what told me the item was in stock anyway, he told me that "the dumb systems are only as smart as the idiots that make them". I replied that I am a software engineer professionally and it looks like someone either entered an erroneous aisle or the aisle was just an endcap/floor display, and he chuckled and said "okay kid". Eventually he asked another team member where the item could be found and he was directed right to it. Overall I am very surprised by the rude behavior of the employee. This is not the first poor customer service experience I have had at this location. read more

I have been to The garden center in Lowe's three times in April and each time was disappointed and frustrated at the lack of customer service with the exception of the young woman at the checkout counter who was the only person in sight. If you are not going to have enough staff available to help then I suggest call buttons be placed in those areas. read more

Unbelievable poor, rotten service at Peach Street store. Patiently, waited around for 15-20 minutes for sales person who was helping another customer. When he was done he told me that he will get someone else to help me and disappeared. Waited another 5 minutes and then I approached another man who was yapping with someone else in the appliance department. Told him what was going on and asked if someone could help me as I have been waiting for so long. Apparently, this irritated him because he said, "well I am trying to help you" then just walked away! I was in no way rude to him because it was not his fault and it made me wonder if he would have done that to a man? Apparently, the older gentleman who works in the bathroom section came back and started to help another man who came in after me. At this point I just left the store in disgust! My valuable time wasted by rude, arrogant men who could care less about decent customer service. So don't bother with the Peach Street store, head over to the Asbury branch or their competitor just up the street. That's what I did and I lucked out there because the sales person was available to help me! Which is very unfortunate because my first choice would actually be Lowes. PS. It was also annoying to see about 3 sales people who could clearly see me looking for help but they just ignored me and it even looked like they were trying to dodge me because they didn't want to be bothered!!! read more

This location is a normal stop for us when we are in the area, but let me tell you - the service absolutely is horrible! They normally have a large selection of plants and that is the reason we go - they had Peruvian Lillie that were incredible this year and some perfect huge pots too. There is always plenty of parking available and the price is as reasonable as Wal-Mart! read more

I've only ever had one issue there. I very rude woman at the service desk, who was fine to me, but not very nice to other employees. Everyone else is pretty decent. If I can't find something I typically just need one employee. Anyone that assumes standard Lowe's employees are as knowledgeable as a contractor is asking to much. It's a supply store people! Terrible, lousy, stinky, poor, bad, non-existent service ESPECIALLY on the phone. I called to check if they had an item in stock and on the initial call it took near three minutes to got an operator who directed my call to the department who handled the product and after several minutes of ringing the operator asked how they could direct my call which went back to several more minutes of ringing then to music and after a couple of minutes back to the operator, then back to the department then back to music then a fast busy signal. (It's a game now) Called back and it was less painful as I was cut off in less time than the first call. Called back to speak to a store manager and after several minutes of silence was back with the operator to direct my call, then back to music, then back to the operator, back to silence and then cut off. Called back again for the store manager and got a operator who had somewhat of a voice fluctuation which to me insinuated 'good luck' in finding one, put me through the same time wasting routine as before which resulted in this review. Apparently there is NO ONE at this Erie Lowe's store capable of answering the freaking phone! read more

Lowes is the best! We ordered 2x4's and drywall as we are installing a new wall in one of my offices. We put the order in on Monday and it arrived on Tuesday! The delivery guys had to carry the lumber and drywall up 4 flights of stairs and I could see that it was a difficult job!
