Anyone writing a review for this place thats less than 4 or 5 stars is either lying or knows nothing about building or lumberyards - its not Home Despot t so if thats what you want go there and buy the HD or Lowes garbage This place has the best quality and service of any lumberyard, its the way lumberyards used to be. Great company, easy access off of the highway. Lines are usually long so plan accordingly. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable.

I shop at West End Lumber often... mainly because of the quality of their products: trim boards, LVLs, PT or plain pine lumber, no matter what I get there I am sure it will be premium grade. West End lumber could NOT order windows correctly. Simple standard anderson windows that should be able to be ordered and delivered with in two weeks are going on close to 3 months and the person handling the orders has no clue or answers. Several failed promises of windows being delivered from Sept 8 till Mid October. Guaranteed promises of windows being delivered by November 3rd.. guess what no delivery and they first claimed they didn't have time to check for the windows in the truck.. then it turned into they are not at the lumber yard but being delivered Monday Nov 6th. November 6th rolls around guess what.. we finally get some windows but they lost half of them!! or didn't order.. who knows!!! Now they claim they will get the rest in a couple days!! Highly doubt it. If these morons can't place an order successfully for windows why are they still in business. Go to Windowrama or anywhere else for Windows and Doors. They are incompetent and it has severely delayed our addition into the holidays, caused the builder massive stress, and allowed water damage in due to waiting months for windows to get delivered. read more

Used to go here in the 70's & 80's with my father when Sarge was in charge. Pleased to see they are still tops in customer service & inventory. Saving me a trip to Lowe's all the way in Milford for Hardi Backer Board.
