Worst dealership experience I have ever had. Nothing but liars and cheats. I would suggest staying away if you are in the market for a new vehicle. My first indication should have been the lack of car pricing on their website. There are other Nissan dealerships in the city where I wasn't jerked around and people were honest with their pricing. Even though I live 10 minutes from their shop, if my vehicle broke down in front of their building, I would have it towed to North Side Nisssan, some 45 minutes away. They cannot get ANYTHING right, including still sending me services notices after I repeatedly requested I be taken OFF their mailing list. The rear door did not close properly at delivery Car was detailed very poorly, if at all. Probably just washed, the dealer charges $400 + for this pro detail yet car still has residue from the plastic on the body panels. Any real detailer would remove this during washing or waxing. Not west end Nissan. I asked for the g.m. To call, he finally did a week later. I asked for a scratch to be repaired via email ----- no response. Promised a free service including tire rotation. Tires are larger in rear can not be rotated. They should know their products, but don't. Please learn from my mistakes. Don't waste your money and time. I would go zero stars if possible. Lied to and treated poorly. Have requested numerous times, both in person and by phone, to have a manager call me in regards to my concern. I am still waiting 2 months later. I've stopped in and spoken to one of the managers (Larry?) and he was gracious in person, but still no return call from the manager that I was initially dealing with(Ali?). Overall I'm out 100$, I have no car and still waiting for a return call, even one that is done out of courtesy. BTW, walked over to GOAuto across the street and purchased a car no hassle. read more

Purchased my first own car there two years ago. Expected to have no problems whatsoever since its a big dealership. Ended up being the worst experience I've ever had dealing with dealers. At the moment of paying full price for vehicle I put one condition - fix some noise that was coming from climate control. Salesperson, of course, said no problem they'll fix it with no charge to me. After 5 minutes conversation manager stopped by, after hearing our conversation the guy shakes my hand saying no worries just book appointment and drop car they'll fix it. A week later I drop the car. In a few hours I received phone call from mechanic saying that there's a bit more complicated problem than they thought and its gonna cost me $400 to fix it. When I mentioned managers promise to fix it free of charges he said that it never happened. Later I came to dealership, manager saw me but completely ignored. Instead he sent to me his assistant who was very rood to me. From his words that best solution they could do. On my respond "the best solution you can do is keep the promise that you made" he was responding in a fairly rood manner. Eventually I got really mad and just went straight to that manager...he was saying some bullshit about him forgetting about it and crap like that. Eventually they fixed it, I didn't pay a penny. Although they kept my car there for 4 days. Of course no replacement car was provided... Anyways I regret very much I bought a car from them. Manager is a liar. Went in shopping for a vehicle and although the salesman was ok, the Assistant Sales Manager was rude, arrogant and called me a liar after I told him that we had just started shopping and this was the first Nissan dealership we stopped at. We had brought in a newspaper ad and located exactly the same vehicle at this dealership and Assistant Sales Manager insisted that I lied and there's no way I just started shopping if I brought in a newspaper ad. To add insult he came back with a price of $3K higher than the advertised price. Brutal. The manager and the salespersons were very nice and great people all our problems came out when we dealed with the accountant who was finishing our finance papers. She offered many finance offers that will increase our biweekly payment a little bit and when we insisted that we need only the basic plans with no more charges she started to show her other face by trying to make many obtacles to cancel the purachase of the car , showing disrespect of us, letting us wait for a long time inside her office with no shows from her and when we wanted to make an official complaint the manager tried to escape from it we will call the finanse main office to make our complaint there read more

I purchased my vehicle from this dealership early in 2013, which is when my customer service nightmare began. Shortly after purchasing the vehicle, which I had purchased under the impression it was a Nissan certified vehicle, with financing and extended warranty through Nissan, I began experiencing problems with the rear suspension. I brought the vehicle in to have it checked out and was informed that it had an aftermarket "coil over" suspension system - from a manufacturer that didn't even make that part for my make/model/year of vehicle. When I purchased it there was no indication that the sport suspension was not dealer installed - which you would expect with a vehicle from a Nissan dealership marketing "certified" pre-owned vehicles. While changing over to summer tires I determined that the parts where not actually a coil over suspension system, but lowering springs from a manufacturer that doesn't even make those parts for my make/model/year of vehicle. Just under a year (30,000km) after purchasing the vehicle, the clutch failed, and West End Nissan quoted me $4,000.00 to have the components replaced new. At this point I really began questioning the validity of their certification process. The clutch was not covered under warranty as it was a "wear" item so I was stuck with the entire bill out of pocket for a vehicle I hadn't even driven for one year. Their argument was that I must have been driving the vehicle improperly, which led to the failure. I had them pull all service and inspection records for the vehicle and found out that it wasn't even put through Nissan's 150+ point inspection but rather just a basic provincial safety inspection certainly not what all the marketing and promo materials at the dealership led me to believe! On the part of the inspection for the clutch it was crossed out entirely, it wasn't even checked off compliant or non-compliant. Was it negligence on their part, or was it intentional? That, combined with the fact that the clutch , the only part of the vehicle not actually "checked", failed less that a year after purchase made me really suspect foul play. Something really stunk. So there I was stuck with a huge repair bill, out of pocket, not covered by my extended warranty, and forced to drive a rental for a few days until I covered the entire cost of the repairs - which West End Nissan only covered for the one day the vehicle was actually being repaired - talk about customer service. Not to mention the fact that the shuttle van driver who dropped my kids and I off at the car rental location started asking my 4 year old son if he has a "nice bed", and if he could "sleep in it". Any half wit can tell you there are things that are inappropriate to discuss with a child - most people will ask my kid if he likes spider man or ninja turtles - not this guy! I contacted Nissan Canada and was informed that they trust the dealership to conduct all of the inspections properly and that my vehicle was not certified pre-owned as they had just rolled out the program. Not satisfied I contacted AMVIR, who conducted an investigation, and informed me that had I made my complain within 6 months of purchasing the vehicle they would have taken enforcement action by way of a fine, but were only able to issue a warning in relation to my complaint. A couple months after the clutch failed, something else failed on the vehicle, which WAS covered by warranty, except for the fact the the Nissan dealership I had taken it to for repair (NOT West End Nissan), informed me that someone had "suspended" my extended warranty coverage, which I had paid for. It took three days for Nissan Canada to fix the problem, before they would cover the costs for repairs. After the AMVIR investigation, I spoke with the new GM at West End Nissan who offered me a 20% discount on parts, which isn't much when you have extended warranty coverage up to 160000km, rather than returning the suspension parts on the vehicle to OEM, which I had requested, in order to resolve the issue. On September 8/12 my daughter and I visited west end Nissan to look for her first car. We were greeted in the parking lot by a salesperson Mr Wells Siyo. He asked what we were looking for and we told him a 4 door car that was good on gas and our budget was $15000. He showed us an Altima that looked good but upon entry reeked of cigarette smoke. Then we looked at a 2009 Toyota Corolla and I asked if the car was for sale as there was a water bottle and straw inside on the seat. He said if there is no plate on it it is for sale. Mr Wells went into the dealership to get the keys and find out the price. We walked over to a jeep for sale and my daughter said it smelled bad inside and opened the console to find a rotten hamburger in the console. Mr Wells returned and said the corolla was in the $15,900 range and so we decided to take the car for a test drive. My daughter liked the car so we went to write an offer on the car. He asked what we were prepared to pay and my daughter said $15000 which was $900 less than what we thought the price was. He returned to say they made a mistake and the car was actually $17400 and asked what we could do to get closer to that price. I indicated that $15000 and had we known that before we would not have test drove that car. He went to see the manager again and came back and said the best price is $16480 and said they would be losing money. I AGAIN repeated the $15000 and he went away to see the manager. He returned with the manager who said he could not sell that vehicle for $15000 and he asked if we had looked at any other vehicles? He said he could sell us a 2010 Nissan Sentra Spec V with less km for $15000 so I asked to see the car. We walked outside and saw the car and he gave my daughter the keys and she turned on the ignition and the manager read the odometer and he said 11000 km and he went back in the dealership and came back out to say he couldn't sell this car for $15000 the best he could do was $16000. At this point my daughter liked the car so we took it for a test drive. We returned and the manager said we could purchase the corolla for $15000 now but he could not sell the Sentra for less than $16000. We came up to $15500 but they refused. Upset with the whole process we left not purchasing either. The entire experience was shoddy to say the very least and gave my daughter her very first car buying experience a total bust. The lack of knowledge these folks displayed in their inventory was amazing. The reason I took my daughter to a larger dealership was to hopefully avoid the scammers and curbers out there but I guess it is truly buyer beware. read more

STAY AWAY, especially if you are a single woman trying to buy... bought 2015 Rogue in December 2014. Salespeople will promise you the world, free oil changes, free maitenance, never received any of it. And don't expect your salesperson to be there for you after the sale , staff turn over is brutal . They did not have the SUV i wanted in stock and was told it would need to be ordered, no problem, 3 days later my SUV is in. I asked my salesperson if it had all the options I asked for and she guaranteed me it did. It doesnt. West End Nissan says they offer a 30 day return policy but they don't. Tried to return my SUV 2 days after I bought it and was told I could as my 2012 Altima I traded in had already been sold.Found out 4 months later that was a lie. Almost 8 months later I am still waiting for a bill of sale for my SUV and the rest of the paperwork.My SUV has been in their service department 10 times in the first 5 months , this is normal according to them. They also have a hard time keeping service staff, I have dealt with 3 service managers since Dec.And have had to take my SUV to a Go Nisssan dealer to fix the mistakes that West Ends service departments made. The general manager there is horrible..very condescending and rude..and is unwilling to take any responsibility for any of the staff at his dealership. He actually told me it wasnt his problem that my saleperson over promised and didnt deliver, she was fired for lying to cuastomers shortly after I bought my SUV.All I ever wanted from the beginning is the SUV I paid for, still don't have it.
