FINALLY. 3 weeks in New York and this place has made me want to shout from the mountain tops. Great service. The cook asked me three times if I liked the salad. Well. Duhhhh. The house salad was the BOMB. Omg things in this salad that you'd only dream of because you would never have the items at home all at once. Someone that takes that much pride in something as small as a salad. Wow. I'm impressed The pizza. Can't even begin to tell you how good it was. Frikkin plain cheese and I'm ordering my third slice as soon as I finish this review From California WE THANK YOU WEST END PIZZA COME HERE EAT HERE. TEY IT ALL AND TWLL THEM ALL. If we are unfortunate enough to ever be forced into coming back to New York. We will ONLY eat here

My cousins and I ordered delivery from here to our beach club. The kids thought the pizza was ok. The eggplant roll wasn't bad but wasn't your typical eggplant roll (eggplant with sauce but no cheese or flavor). The chicken and veal samdwiches were awful. The bread was absolutely black in places and so was the meat on the inside. Not just crispy, but black! We were hungry so we tried to eat around some of the burnt parts but it was salty and tasted awful. We called to see if they would give us a credit for this. The the girl said she didnt think so but that if we sent her pictures, she would have her boss get back to us. We sent her pictures but never heard back. This place gets one star for having pizza 8 year olds will eat, but that's it.

I interacted with the guys making the pizza, they were a bunch of jokers who knew how to make their customers laugh and enjoy the moment. Engaging with one person, I was able to share my experience of Barrier Brewery, and he shared his as well. upon leaving one of the workers acquiesced with my decision to have a slice, split in half. That gesture was very kind. I had my fill with pizza for the night, so I did eat the slice that was split into 2 pieces` in order to provide a precise review. That ZA was delicious with a mild marinara sauce everyone enjoyed. I can eat this ZA without it affecting me and this was not a thin crust; it was a regular crust. Honestly speaking, this was an 'mmm' slice. When you bite into it, you go mm because it's that good. I would love to come back but by the time I get home, it would be cold unless I invested in a pizza warmer bag. This was a good night,... Inspire more, Yelp more

On Saturday, My wife and I stopped in for a quick dinner and sat at the bar and met Jenny the bartender. Jenny was one of the nicest staff members that we've ever had. She had a great sense of humor and served delicious drinks , especially the spicy margarita which was " made with love " which was to my wife's liking. Usually I order the pizza but this time I ordered the All American Burger which consisted of LTO, secret sauce, pickles, double patty smash style, brioche bun and french fries and it was delicious and it hit the spot. I was guilty of texting pictures to my friends to tell them to check out Brix the next time they visit Long Beach . Definitely a 5 star experience

The sauce tasted like generic brand nothingness. 2) Roasted garlic pasta - two different times, the garlics were undercooked or completely lacking. Basically was a bowl of plain spaghetti - tasteless. 3) Simple side dish salad, was lettuce & tomato in a metal dish, Yuck! We are now changing our Go-To place. Regular slice: A little on the doughy side and not as much flavor as the upside down but it was still pretty good. 3. Fried Calamari slice: This was amazeballs! Calamari had a pleasant crunch atop a Sicilian style slice. Crust was cooked well and provided a satisfying crunch. There were plenty of specialty slices and rolls available which all looked very good which I'll have to try next time. Guys behind the counter were friendly. There were about 6 tables inside to sit at to enjoy your meal. Situated about a block away from the beach, It's a great spot to go if you worked up an appetite having some fun in the sun. Overall, a very pleasant meal.

They were packed so they seated us at the last 2 seats left at the bar near the host stand. There was an acoustic singer and guitar player adding to the energetic ambience. We were handed the place mats and menus upon seating. Then it took about 15 min to order a drink. Then another 25 min before we could place our food order. The female bartender was attentive to all the parties around us, and people who came in after us seemed to be a priority. The barback finally noticed us and helped us while he was also busting out drinks. He noticed we were trying to get her attention so he stepped in kindly and took our order. We ordered the Grilled Artichokes, the Burger, and Chicken Carbonara. (Wanted the Bolognese but someone had just ordered the last one by 8pm?!) She never checked in for a second round, so we didn't bother after about 20 min we gave up. The Artichokes came out about 20 min after ordering. They plopped them in front of us, no utensils or napkins. I had to ask the barback for some. The busser seemed disgruntled a said they only had forks. Had to flag someone else for napkins, and they brought us a pile of c-fold paper towels, when they usually have cloth napkins as we noticed with patrons who came in after us. My sis-in-law and I wolf down the 4 pieces of artichokes, using our fork and hands to cut into pieces (no knife). Then another 30 min before our mains come out. Couldn't even ask anyone for a food status update, so just tried to enjoy the live music and each other's company to distract from hunger pangs. The burger and carbonara finally show and looks great. The portions were generous. Fries were a little blonde and just underdone but seasoned enough. The carbonara was delicious as well, nice and al dente. We enjoyed our food and chatted. Music was on the louder side but for a Friday night at 8ish pm, that is not uncalled for. The restaurant started to end their rush and the bar emptied out a tad, but the service did not improve. Asked for the bill and to-go containers as soon as I could flag someone bc I knew it would take awhile to get them. Of course when getting the bill things progressed speedily, so we paid and tried to get out as soon as we were done. The staff there was hot and cold. Barback was helpful and everyone else seemed "annoyed" to have to help us with simple requests that shouldn't have to be requested to begin with. Again I understand rushes happen and staff can become overwhelmed. The bar team had to service the bar and some high tops nearby plus make drinks for the rest of the restaurant, so I understand the volume was high, but again the management team should plan accordingly to make sure the diners do not have to feel the lag in the service. Food was good but left a little disappointed from the service.
