Despite the extended vacancy, we received very little communication beyond automated weekly emails stating there were "no updates" and "no recommendations at this time." I had to repeatedly request information regarding marketing efforts, showing activity, tenant feedback, and ANY recommendations to improve leasing performance. We were willing to adjust pricing and make changes if necessary, but we provided with absolutely no proactive guidance - guidance you would expect from a professional property management company. On top of that, our new property manager went out today and discovered that the utilities had never been turned on and there was mouse/lizard droppings throughout the home. We trusted Guld Coast to help us rent and take care of this home as we are located out of state. They wasted 4 months of our time and thousands of dollars.
