Used to be my favorite place to go. I'm a RN in a high-stress specialty and this was my spot to go to decompress, relax, and get some uncut alone time after brutal weeks on the unit. But I returned from a 13 wk crisis contract in LA to find that they had ratcheted their prices up by 100%, by vitue of their new 'first run!' gimmick. Crushing. You can still catch a $3.50 movie, but only classics, and only a few are ever offered. I loved having a true cheap seats theater in town (as any good town should) where you could see a new movie for less just by waiting a bit longer. It's truly a shame. You might as well pay a few extra bucks and go to Century. I will still go occasionally, but I guarantee I will spend FAR less money there now at $7 than I would have at $3.50. I realize we are in trying times, but this is just seems like a gouge. Otherwise decent staff, great popcorn, presentable facilities, quiet atmosphere. For the record, this would be 5+ stars a year ago. I was tempted to rate lower, but have to give some credit for their years of past radness. read more

It's a really nice theatre. they replaced their seats so they're nice and comfortable. some of the staff can be a little scatter brained but they seem to be hard workers. cheap priced tickets which is nice, however they should do a better job of keeping things clean. seats were mucky read more

Yes, the theater is cheap, but it's to cheap to keep up with bed bug spraying... I got bed bugs after coming to see a movie with my 7 year old... I will never come back k, and it's been over a year. I save my money to take my 7year old to century. They do weekly sprays. I never recommend this place to anyone. Never will. read more

I wish they had a teacher like this everywhere. It's 3$ of pure joy! Even though the tickets are cheap the seats are still super comfortable and the concessions are pretty awesome too. The only downside is that you are watching movies that have been out for a while. It would totally be worth the wait though if you just waited to watch the movies here! read more

These two girls were very helpful! They had a conversation with me and my husband and made us laugh. This place has the best popcorn you can see them popping it fresh and it's in coconut oil and not that fake butter oil at normal theaters and the movies are for so cheap. Definitely worth the wait to see the movies in this theater. read more

We have visited this theater many, many times over the years. My husband and I went to Bohemian Rhapsody last night (awesome movie, btw) and right before the actual movie previews were going to start a theater employee came around to check if people still had their phones/electronics out. My husband still had his out and was told in a passive aggressive tone to put it away, which he did right away. That didn't bother me nearly as much as when this same employee approached a woman in an electric wheelchair and asked her if there was any way that she could turn off the lights on the hand piece that she uses to maneuver the chair. I wasn't able to see her or her husband's reactions to this request, but I personally think it is complete BS to ask someone in a wheelchair to turn of the electronics so that the 4 little red and green lights don't "light up the whole theater". read more

The people here have no manners. The only person who was nice was the ticket lady and the kid we got our popcorn from. We had tickets to see a movie at 7 and it was 6:20. We gave our tickets to the guy, he ripped the bottom off and didn't even look at us. He was just talking to some other employee about something. We walk to cinema 7 and notice that we can still hear the music from inside. So I ask an employee walking by if the movie was still going. He noticed that we were for the 7 o'clock showing and said to go back behind the rope. He said that without looking at us and in a very rude manor. So we go past the guy that ripped our tickets and ask if we will still be allowed in and that one guy was right beside him pointing at us to get on the other side. As we asked the ticket guy if we were allowed back in with our tickets. The guy kept passive aggressively telling us to get on the other side. We will not be returning, especially if the one passive aggressive and rude employee is still there. read more

It's a good place to go especially when you have a limited budget for entertainment and for this I am very thankful! It's so needed in this town so I very much appreciate the owners providing this. The place is clean. The seats may not be the best, but they're ok and they have a drink holder. The only thing holding me back from a 5 star is the popcorn. I love to have popcorn while I watch a movie, but this popcorn was pretty bad. It was fresh, yes, but I think it must be the oil that they use. I couldn't enjoy it at all. read more

As far as I'm concerned, this place is magnificent! Sure, the theaters are a bit dilapidated, and not as clean as they could be...but its THREE DOLLARS FOR ALL SHOWINGS!!! And the concession stand is also less expensive than a Century, or those at other big, corporate theaters too. At three bucks a ticket, I can stroll down there (I live within walking distance), and see a movie pretty much anytime I like, without having to worry about the expense. And that's beautiful. There is no criticism of the Westmall 7 Theaters that I won't dismiss as irrelevant; I love this place! read more

Good way to see older released movies with the family. Tickets are cheap and so is the food. The theater is old and some of the seats are in rough shape. However the $3 seat compared to $7.50 when you're taking 5 people makes a difference plus cheap food! (popcorn, pop, and candy) read more

This is one of my most favorite places to go and see a movie. It's not the best in terms of seats (some when you sit you just sink and sink haha) but it's fabulous for its great deals. The movies are older released but at a great price. I love eating popcorn there because it is much cheaper than regular theaters. Great place for a date night for two budget savvy people. ;) read more

Usher working the podium needs an attitude/coaching lesson. He told me not to go over the ropes that blocked me completely from going to the bathroom. Well I normally wouldn't do that, but he had the ropes closing off the whole section. What is he scared that people are going to run past him standing at podium? On that note great help at box office and concessions they get a 5/5 each but your podium usher gets a 0/5 which drops my review to a 2/5. read more

Seats have been upgraded, more leg room which is great as makes it more difficult for people behind me to put their feet up into my hair when they try to put their feet on the back of my seat. Walls have been recovered, sound system is great altho a little too loud for me so I take along ear plugs or other hearing dampeners. Food/drink prices reasonable so can take the whole family out for a treat any showing instead of just certain matinees like some other theatres. They have some long time staff. all around good bordering on great experience. read more
