The historic charm of the former occupant, Stowe Mercantile Co., was in tact and the store's merchandise was nicely organized. I really enjoyed seeing some original fixtures too and couldn't help but gaze up the grand staircase. But, I suspect most people don't come to Catawba River Outfitters for architecture so lets talk about products. Catawba River Outfitters features clothing and gear for the whole family for an active lifestyle and outdoor adventures. I'm not a super outdoorsy person but I appreciate quality clothing and gear and I really enjoyed looking at mens' swim trunks, ladies' loungewear, kids' flip flops, collapsible chairs, Yeti cups, festive backpacks, sturdy coolers and such.
