So bring a reusable bag if you plan to shop here. It's just another way to reduce waste and be a good steward. Some of the prices can be high, but not everything. They sell Patagonia which is an expensive brand, as well as other, more moderately priced items. You just have to know what you want and what you are willing to pay. If you check out the bulletin board upstairs, they offer guided excursions that look really fun. I check out their selection of hiking poles as I am looking to buy some. Everything from really reasonable basic models to foldable, light weight pricey models. So you have options. They have pet items. Personal care items. Clothes and shoes are upstairs. So many types of water bottles. Camping items for both the thru-hiker and the car-camper. Check them out. They are a good resource and the staff are friendly and happy to assist.

The math really doesn't math with that scenario. Anyways, this location is very spacious and carries quite a bit of stock for every sport imaginable. The store is also very organized and if you start on the left side you'll travel through each sports section like it was a museum...a museum of sporting goods. This store is also jam packed with sales associates that actually are knowledgeable and approachable, at least one corporation still acknowledges the benefit of hiring human beings. The product prices vary but everything I buy from them usually lasts. So in conclusion I would recommend this specific Dick's location to other sports minded consumers.

They have a nice selection of skateboards for sale and they also do local maintenance on them. Civil was created by Guido Silvestri and Rob Asselin in 2006. After many years of working in retail, the two founders imagined a store concept outside the realm of the traditional skate/snowboard/surf shop. The vision was realized in 2007 when the first Civil location opened in East Greenwich Rhode Island. Since then they added stores in Providence and Westerly Rhode Island.....this particular one is on Westminster St, Providence downtown. Their product mix at each one of their stores varies to suite the three distinct locations: in the city (Providence), on main street (EG), and by the beach (Westerly). Civil also has a private label collection and they have been honored to collaborate on projects with elite brands including Nike SB and SLVDR. They support local ripping skateboarders and snowboarders, including the notorious Yawgoons. Since they opened, Civil has been involved in the local skateboard and snowboard community by hosting and sponsoring contests, demos, park cleanups, video premiers, and other cultural events. The staff is young and very hip. Mostly guys in their 20s that love skateboarding, so they know their stuff when asked questions. I went to check the prices of a few sneakers and they were very helpful in regards to the differences among them.

You can get a lined olive drab army coat for 99 dollars. I needed a large duffle bad to hold some gear I need for a new job I got. I specifically told my wife I needed to go here. All places online or retail stores wanted a min of 50 dollars. I got a decent large bag water repellent for 30 dollars. Mr. Hans was helping someone out when we got there, and was attentive to ur needs too. He even gave us each a brand spanking new p38 can opener. ;)
