Loved this place!! With military discount, I only paid $1.50 for me and my mini me! DOLLAR FIFTY!! It has an Olympic pool and kids pool where they have the splash playground a nice size slide. You can go on the slide as long as you(kid) can swim without a jacket. I was told the current at the bottom is pretty strong so you have to be a competent swimmer to go on it. The pool part of the playground goes from inches to about 5 feet (I think) so you can "swim" with your little one and not feel like you're in the wading pool the whole visit...haha...says the "mom". DOLLAR FIFTY!! I can't get over it!! Why would I spend $50 for the "other" pool/park? Kids don't care it's pretty big or this one as long as they get to go monkey crazy in the water I think we'll go back again today

Having swam competitively for 10 years of my young life, I can safely say I've seen my fair share of swimming pools...good ones and gross ones. Overall, this beautiful Olympic size pool is clean, spacious and has something for everyone! That said, I can't speak too much about the experience in the kiddy pool area - all I can say is that it looks pretty fun - water fountains, slide, beach entry, outdoor AND indoor pools...looks pretty awesome. The big pool also has diving boards! But the main reason I go to this pool is to swim laps (gotta stay healthy!). I've had good and not-so-good experiences lap swimming at West Mesa. When it's good, it's goooood. When it's not, it's because there are too many people trying to lap swim in too few lanes. This pool is an OLYMPIC size pool. I've been there at 5:30 in the morning, and they have 4 lanes open and the entire rest of the pool off limits. ....come on West Mesa. It's pretty much impossible for more than 2 random people to share a lane together. Open more lanes! ....other than that, you're doin it right! Water is clear. Temperature is perfect. Deck is always clean. Definitely recommend this pool!

    Fabulous pool!

Very nice Olympic pool! Been swimming at this facility for over a year, staff has always been kind, helpful and always polite! They accommodate all swimmers from water polo, lap swim, water aerobics and swim lessons, and recreationalswim.. My favorite place to be after a work day! Thanks to all the great staff!

This place is great for the kids and adults. A lot of the swim teams practice here. They have meets here or you can come with the family and enjoy just some playing around in the pool time. You can get first 8 lessons here swimming lessons water polo lessons or any other type of water sport first aid lessons that you need

I took my 7 and 10 year old kids and they loved it. Indoor and outdoor pools, indoor and outdoor water slides, and small and high diving boards inside. It's not Schlitterbahn, but for the price $2 for kids, $3 for adults, and $0.50 for the little one, its the best in Albuquerque. Only drawback is that the day swimming sessions are only 2 hrs. (1230-230 or 3-5).

Took my kids here to play today and they had a great time. It seemed very clean. We went to the indoor play area.

I would say probably 3.5 stars would be most accurate. To make it easy for you to make a choice…read moreI'll just give pros and cons. Pros: staff is super friendly and offer quick text service Location for our event was great we walked everywhere and felt safe, they have lots of security The vibes and remodel is nice, and they have an onsite restaurant Price point was very fair (we didn't use parking) Cons: The hotel was nowhere near capacity and they gave us a room looking at the parking lot, they should fill those looking at the pool first The towels are small and thin and they come with a total of 2 sets, we asked for more and they gave 1 set (be clear with requests) Housekeeping is only offered when asked but they do not tell you that until you ask for it (luckily they fit us in and I didn't have to push) The bathroom door is so hard to open and there's only one trash can in each room As someone else said it's super LOUD on weekends it's literally like cars are drag racing All of that being said I would stay here again and just make sure to request the room location, extra towels and utilize the ear plugs that are in the bathroom. They put a lot of effort into attracting guests and it's appreciated.

We made reservations for a sister's night to celebrate my sister's 27th birthday. I was working…read morethis afternoon and planned to meet my sister and mom for dinner this evening. When my sister tried to check in to our room she was told she couldn't check in because her name wasn't on the reservation. No problem, I can just call and ask that my sister be checked in. Where things went wrong: the manager on duty named Brie told my sister that "she clearly wasn't understanding check in rules because she'd been up to ask several times already and had been told no". Very condescending and not the way that you treat a guest that's chosen to spend their birthday with you, when your hotel is a dime a dozen. My sister felt ridiculed and mistreated, and I refuse to spend money at a place that's made my sibling feel like that. We cancelled our reservation for a full refund, booked down the street, and are enjoying pool time, cocktails, and a beautiful room. Moral of the story-- don't just hire anyone to manage your hotel. Not everyone is capable of even basic communication and kindness.
