I like this shop they did some work on my caddy and I think the owner Steve is a great guy. He is good people.

By far the WORST experience iv ever had with a company in my entire life. Go to car crafters right down the road instead. LIES, MISCOMMUNICATION, INSURANCE FRAUD, SHADY BUSINESS PRACTICES, DISRESPECTFUL. Zero attention to detail. They left my car with new issues, and took over 3 months to "repair" my car. When confronting the owner "Steve" about the concerns i had with the quality of work they did, ( a $9,000 invoice) i was told " i don't know what to tell you" as i asked more questions about the concerns the owner "Steve" stated that " im not going to f*cking argue with you" then accused me of "nit-picking" their work for calling them out on all the issues with the vehicle. They lied to my face about replacing my fender with a new one, and just fixed the old one. My car was left with a mis-matched paint job, misaligned bumper, new scratches on my fender, a dead battery, burnt out my side markers, fog lights dont work, and broke my emblem in half and stuck it back on my car, thinking i wouldnt notice. The shop refused to take any accountability for the poor work they did and the parts THEY broke. I was disrespected by every singe person in the office, this place should not be in business. The only reason theyve made it this far is by doing insurance fraud and cutting corners. read more

Wow don't know where to start. Be aware these peppers are all about making money sit no mechanics here. Just money hungry salesmen. Took in my 2020 Ford explorer for hail damage. Est. Was for 3-4 weeks. TOOK 6 months to get her back. Body looked good but mechanically got it back worse. So much mouse damage chewed wires and washer fluid lines. They didn't even put the air filter housing back right. Just stay away trust me read more

My car was side swiped by a racing vehical, running a red ligh at Coors and Irvimg. Although it took a long time to get all the parts in, the finished product was worth the wait. These folks had done a great repair on a car a few years ago. However, I have unfortunately had to take my Nissan Titan to them twice. The first time the tail gate need some simple repairs. However, they fail to replace a part that allowed the gate to lower slowly. Consequently, I had to take the vehicle to the Nissan dealer and pay more than $200.00 dollars to make the repair. This current visit was for a simple scratch and a slight dent in the bumper and rear panel. Upon receiving the truck. The AC and fan would not function at first. The passenger side turn signal was flashing very quickly. Either removing or reinstalling the radio antenna they scratched my vehicle near the antenna. There are two chips in the tail gate where it appears that they had struck the gate when reinstalling the bumper. The bumper is not square to the vehicle and my truck bed is misaligned. I showed these issues to the owner who was quite dismissive. I measure the difference in the bumper aligned and returned the vehicle to be repaired correctly. I have already been with out my truck for two weeks. Now it is back in their shop. I really hope they make this right. I try to support local small business but I do expect decent service. UPDATE: I received my vehicle today after three weeks at the shop. I appreciate the shop making an effort to fix the problems they had created. However, the owner was verbal aggressive regarding my previous accurate and factual google review. The truck was original released to me with a misaligned bed and bumper and additional scratches caused by shop. They did fix the scratches and aligned the bed and bumper. What I don't understand is why the gentleman who made the quote informed that the truck bed would need to be shifted in order to paint correctly. Consequently, I felt that I could assist the shop by removing my tool box and hitch draw bar. However, the owner stated that he did not shift the bed. Question then is was the job done correctly? Lastly, why would they not double check the work before attempting to release the vehicle to the customer? Why were they alright with a misaligned bed and bumper and scratches they caused? In short, I left a poor google review because it was warranted. As for the aggressive nature of the owner, perhaps he should not interact with customers or better yet learn to accept responsibilities for his failures and do quality work. UPDATE: I hope that nothing else occurs and this is my last update. When I had retrieved my vehicle early in the morning and the lighting was shadowed. I have not driven my vehicle until today since picking it up. With better light I realized, while putting items on the passenger side of my vehicle that the shop did not reinstall my door mirror correctly and had damaged the boot around my radio antenna. I will not be returning my vehicle to have them make these corrections. I will pay out of pocket and have professionals at the Nissan dealership correct their mistakes and damage to my vehicle. My simple advice is to think long and hard before you take your vehicle to this shop. read more

Go ANYWHERE ELSE but HERE! Gave me my car back with inoperative windows, lights, malfunctioning door locks, and misaligned doors. Getting them to fix what they finally did fix was a hassle (8 months). They broke some buttons on my dash panel, scratched my gear shifter box, and cracked the 2 mahogany panels on the doors they worked on. Four expensive things (~$3.5k) that were not broken, now in need of repair. There were still other problems that were their responsibility, they refused to fix them. Had to have them repaired by another body shop, pay out of pocket, and absorb the cost of a rental car to do so. Spoke with someone who works at AutoZone who said they did the same thing to them. Wish I read the bad Yelp and Google reviews before ever bringing my car to them. May anyone reading this be spared the nightmare of dealing with these people! If I could give less than a star, I would... I hired this body shop for a very simple job: paint and install two side scoops on my Mustang, and it turned out to be a complete disaster! - Color matching: my car is black, plain black, no metallic effects or anything like that. These guys couldn't even match black. Under the sun the painted parts came out more dark grayish than black, the mismatch was very obvious. - Paint runoff: on one of the two scoops there was very obvious paint or clear runoff, on the top edge of the part. This was so visible you could see it standing a few feet away from the car. Yet the car was given to me as is, they obviously didn't care about how their work looked, and didn't check the quality of their paint job before mounting the part on the car. I took the car back to have them fix this issue, and it looked a little better, but the runoff was still very obvious. The edge of the part was also full of polish residue that they didn't bother cleaning up. - Part installation: these OEM parts came with a template for drilling the mounting holes at the exact design location. Unfortunately that was too hard for the body shop to use. The parts were installed an 1/8" too low, which means that they didn't exactly line up with the body lines as designed, and the curves of the scoops didn't match with the curves of the car. After a couple of weeks, portions of the tape holding one of the scoops in place started to come off because of this. - Cleanness: When I picked up the car the first time after the initial install, the car was dirtier than I dropped it off. When picking it up the car second time, they tried to clean it, but it looked like someone went over the whole car with the a wet cloth, and didn't rinse or dry it, and I had to wash it again myself. There was white dust left inside the car and on the seats as well. I try to support the local businesses in my town whenever I can, but this time it was a huge disappointment. This was clearly the worst experience I had with a body shop, and I cannot recommend that company to anyone. read more

NEVER GO HERE!!! These guys r garbage, I needed a fixed dent in a door, they took 3 weeks and I got the car back an realized that the doors stopped opening and it was the doors west mesa worked on. I went back to the owner, Steve, and the looked at thecar an said the doors were not his problem and refused to repair it, I wish I could tell everyone in Rio Rancho just how bad these guys r and to not ever go there, NEVER GO TO WEST MESA THIS IS NOT A REAL BUSINESS, GO ANYWHERE ELSE please DON'T WASTE your MONEY, I regret going here like you couldn't imagine I wish they would close and stop STEALING from the GOOD CITIZENS OF RIO RANCHO read more

we took our RV (class A motorhome) to them to repair the rear cap. They said they could do the work and gave us an estimate. Our insurance company recommended them as well. First we had to wait two weeks for them to get it on the schedule. We took it in. It sat in their back yard for three weeks with nothing being done. I made arrangements to take it elsewhere, and then, they decided to work on it. It took another three weeks (now up to 8 weeks) to get it done, with our calling every other day to keep it going. They announced that they broke the ladder the day we were supposed to pick it up, and that took another three days and another $700 from the insurance company. They returned it to us with a dead battery which meant we had no lights or anything when we drove it home. Granted, the battery was probably weak (only 18 months old), but their concern was non existent. Once we replaced the battery, fixed the tail light connections which were left loose, we took a trip. We discovered that we had mice, which we had never had - must have been from sitting in their back yard for eight weeks. The actual repair work was fine, but the manager was extremely surly once we started questioning when, when, when. I would not recommend them. They have severe scheduling problems and a lack of customer service. We now know of several places in the area which work only on RV's. Can't imagine that we will need their services again. read more

These guys are all about fraud and their work stinks. Charged for a complete bumper replacement, 2475.00. Replaced the bumper cover only, a 124.00 part. Then they had the audacity to tell me it was the only bumper cover they could find in America, and it was incomplete, with vent towing covers gone. Charged for new and replaced parts with salvage. To say these guys believe they have a license to steal and are not afraid to use it would be an understatement. Flecks and spots visible where paint was incomplete. This is a completely fraudulent company. I had to call my American Express to clear the transaction. They're company is listed in NY. Amex thought it was a fraud.. It was!!!!! 0- stars. read more
