We used Ratchet Industries on San Pedro for hail damage repairs on our truck through a USAA insurance claim. Our communication was with the owner, Rori. The truck was dropped off on August 28 and was not marked "ready" until November 21, nearly 12 weeks later. During the repair process, we were repeatedly told it would be "two more weeks," but the completion date kept moving. Communication with both us and USAA was slow, inconsistent, and often nonexistent. Because of the shop's extreme delays, we incurred additional rental car costs. Ratchet Industries agreed to reimburse us for the rental expense, and USAA has a record of that agreement. The amount still owed to us is $1,604.84. After agreeing to pay, the shop again repeatedly told us payment would be made in "two weeks," but no payment was made. At the shop's request, we even tried working with them on a payment plan, but those payment dates have long passed and they are no longer communicating with us. As a final attempt to resolve this, we offered to accept half of the amount owed if paid by the deadline we gave them, which is now about six months after we incurred the rental cost. We still received no payment and no communication. When the truck was finally marked "ready" on November 21, it was not actually complete or properly put back together. The new drip moldings had not been installed, the interior paneling had been put back loosely and needed repair, the middle light housing was broken, and screws were missing from the tailgate molding. We have been very patient and gave Ratchet Industries many opportunities to resolve this. We are requesting payment of the $1,604.84 rental reimbursement they agreed to pay, or at minimum a written response and immediate plan for repayment. read more

Horrible customer service, brought my car all the way from the mountain as they requested, they said they would get straight to my car because its a classic antique car, owner Roy told me he wanted to work on it personally, 2 days go by not even a call no type of update so I showed up over there and my car wasn't even started they had it put to the side working on everything else but my car. They didn't even have a quote put together. They see me and judge me off my appearance and owner didn't even wanna talk to me, hes worker stated it was because it was gonna be to high of a price to fix, little did he know I run my own construction company and money wasn't an issue. Horrible customer service i wouldn't recommend this place to anybody. Shame on you guys. read more

They did a great job for a fair price. I've had them remove small dents twice now. You can't tell where either dent was.

After 6+ years and 80,000 miles on my 2014 Chevy Silverado 2500 Diesel the hood, front bumper and roof had taken a beating from bugs, pebbles and sun. Not needing a full paint job I chose Ratchet to apply wraps to these parts. They matched the Summit White paint almost perfectly and did a masterful job on installation. I would like to give a 20 star to Ratchet Industries as well as Rori and his team. I had the worst experience taking my car to wrap it ABQ my car was a complete mess when they pulled off the wrap that they put on my own paint peeled off the car they had to keep my car longer than anticipated due to all the damage that has been done by my by the previous people that wrapped it not only did they take care of me they took their time there are no flaws on my car extremely beautiful it was definitely worth the wait I could recommend them I give them a 100 and I would definitely say don't go to any other WRAP company in Albuquerque other than ratchet industries thank you guys. read more

Life saver! Let me just say that first. I was in a bind and grateful this place had time to check out the damage to my vehicle. After a couple of hours of calling so many places that were not official business, trying to meet me on the side of the road, I eventually found my way to Ratchet Industries. It was Saturday and it was getting pretty late. The business hours showed they were closing in an hour and they still told me to come by, and they would take a look at my car. When I showed up, they remembered me calling and headed right out to my car. They were knowledgeable and gave a fair estimate. They were cracking jokes and really put me at ease. I was so nervous about the condition my car was in. They looked out for me as a customer. So let's talk about the finished product because WOW!Listen. I think they made this car look better than when it rolled off the lot brand new . I'm not going to even talk about what I paid because you'll never believe me. They did the work in like 30 minutes. Impressive doesn't do my experience justice. That's the least I could say. Impressive, entertaining, fast, reliable, affordable, I really could go on. I looked at prior reviews before I contracted with Ratchet and they seemed to be pretty good. However, my experience was completely unsatisfactory. I do not believe this is a trustworthy business. I had a terrible experience all the way around. I would suggest if you decide to business with this company you would be wise (and smarter than I was) to get everything in writing before they do any work on your vehicle. read more
