A little over a week ago my driver spun a piston crank and limped into their establishment. They call me and tell me no metal in the oil so we should be able to fix it. We are all happy and a huge weight is lifted off of our chests. Next morning it is slammed back on it. Well no sir, the very sweet lady calls to say, we only checked on the dipstick and not the oil pan. You have plenty of shavings in your oil. Talk about bursting your bubble. So we are - Ok what are options? Well you can get a REBUILT motor for $30k or a new one from Dodge dealer for $40k. WHAT? let me give you a little background on me, I created and admin the largest Hotshot Trucking social media and internet Network in the USA, over 600k members, 30 groups, 5 websites, blah, - and I own a Hotshot Trucking Carrier of a few trucks. Point is we do this much more than we would like to admit, deal with shops, mobile mechanics, repair shops and know when we are dealing with a good one. Now don't get me wrong, nice ppl but Monticello residents, your being robbed. So I had one of my other drivers come pick up the truck, bring it back to Texas, get a new motor, Install it, with better components and design than original for under 13k in 4 days. Oh Monticello told me the motor gaskets were on a 45 day back order. Here in Texas they are easily available. BTW they charge over $600 just to take the oil pan off and tell us it had metal shavings in it. WTH? less than an hour of work. This is really shameful. So lets get to the nail in the coffin. So I had to send my driver all the way back from Houston Texas in my spare Ford F350 Super Duty, my personal favorite. On the way he said that the ac was not working right, blowing hot and cold. So I call the previous owner, a mechanical genius and he tells me what to tell the shop, to just add the correct amount of Freon and check compressor, etc. (SEE TEXTS ATTACHED). They respond ok. Please understand my driver is a large man, and has diabetic health problems, Him and his brother suffered greatly coming there and I wanted to repair that ac at whatever it cost to get it right. So he took it to them and told them it is not blowing COLD air and check it out. He told them that I had sent instructions too. One of the MAIN REASONS we trusted them, LISTEN TO THEIR HOLD MUSIC ADVERTISEMENT- THEY SAY THEY RUN A FULL DIAGNOSTIC, ARE VERY EXPEIENCED AND WARRANTY THEIR WORK ANYWHERE, so we THOUGHT we were in good hands. So they hastily install a $40 blower, charge us $551, tell us it is repaired and blowing cold air, WRONG- My driver calls me an hour and a half down the road, Boss the AC is NOT working at all, the people say that it isn't their fault, should I go back? I am having health issues and my Doctors appt is Wednesday. I really need to get home but I don't know if I can stand the heat w/o air, We would have to get another day at hotel. I text, call and the head mechanic with all of these years experience tells me that he didn't check, diagnose, run gauges, check Freon , nor did anyone give him my instructions. He admits he should of and that he knew better. Oh boy, I am between a rock and a hard place, My driver needs to drive over 1000 miles still, the fuel, the hotel, the lost time. Yes in my business each day down is about $1200 revenue. I weigh the options, I have top level REAL mechanics in Texas that KNOW what they are doing, do not take advantage or overcharge us. I tell my driver to come on I text the owner WHO NEVER RESPONDS after this. I would of at least gotten an apology or warranty they brag about. I am not someone to yell, cuss, blame others but I will do what I do best as a SOCIAL MEDIA INFLUENCER of 600k followers and GOOGLE REVIEW TOP National LOCAL GUIDES with millions of views, TRUSTPILOT reviewer and a business man that will let the world know when they need to know the truth. Monticello Auto Owners - you need to be accountable to your customers when you make mistakes.

Things changed when I took it to Hoglund. Dan got involved immediately. He took care of the estimate, handled everything with the insurance company and keep me in the loop. Because of the high demand for RV's these days, even repairs take longer, especially if ordering parts are involved, so these repairs did take time. No problem, Dan kept me well informed and even sent progress pictures. After completing their work, Dan arranged to send the unit to another shop down the street to have the engine and generator oil changed, saving me both time and having to deal with transportation. I picked up the RV last week and it looks great. Time to head south. I would recommend Hoglund Body, and Dan, very highly.

I found the 2003 Ford F150 Lariat Super Crew online. I sent the "I am interested" email and received a prompt reply from Jared Nebel, Internet Sale Manager. On Friday, December 20th, 2013, I spoke with Jared on the phone and expressed that I wanted to look at the truck, the only issue was I had to go to Iowa for the weekend and could he possibly hold the tuck until Monday. Of course I was asking a lot of the dealership and in no way did I expect Jared to hold the truck. On Saturday I received a call from Jared and he put the truck on hold. I could rest easy and enjoy my weekend with the family. Monday night (Dec 22) my son Bryce and I stopped in to look at the truck for the first time. Jared had it ready to test drive. He displayed excellent guest service when he got me a hot cup of coffee. (it was -14 below zero) After exchanging some Army stories with Jared and Lloyd, we focused on the deal. First, the truck was represented on the internet exactly as it was in person. No hidden surprises. I was given an extremely fair price on my trade in vehicle, the price on the F150 was excellent. There was no drawn out back and forth / nickel and dime negotiation. What a pleasure that was to get a fair deal right off the bat. We shook hands and wrote up the paperwork. Everyone at West Metro Buick/GMC was professional and provided excellent guest service. I purchased my first truck in 1979 and this latest purchase is by far the best I have ever been treated by a dealership. I cannot tell you how impressed I am with the Service Department at West Metro. I had an appointment to fix a small problem on my 2018 Acadia but mentioned to the service manager that I hoped, at the end of the day, that they could teach me how to fix the issue if it reoccured ( smell coming from the AC unit vents in the summer ). The service manager then asked a service tech to show me how to service the issue on my own. He spent a bit of time with me to show me how/what to take apart and then what to do. I asked if I needed to pay for his time and he said no, I was good to go. This is a dealer/service department that will treat you with respect. It's like the small-town mechanic that you can trust. When it comes time to trade in the Acadia for a new one this is the place I'm going to go. Well done West Metro! You cared about a customer's actual needs instead of worrying about how you could make a quick profit. In the long run, it will pay off. read more

I have traveled to many dealerships in my life and this is the first one that i am going to go back to over and over! great service! very friendly! great prices! very knowledgeable! i have bought a used 2013 sierra from them and now a 2015 sierra. During both transactions i noticed that they are very fair with trade ins. I worked with Kent who was great, and had a chance to meet the GM Loyd who is a veteran. Lyod truly lives to serve people! He truly understands with out us customers there would be no west metro! all he wants out of his people is to treat people fairly communicate with them and build relationships. there was 0% pressure to buy a vehicle either time! We bought a used car in November and I can't say how grateful we are for James the financial guy with helping us with the loan. After signing all the paperwork he said he would still try to find another company that would offer us a lower interest rate. As soon as we got home he called and said he found a better offer for us and we needed to come in and do the paperwork over again. The new loan gave us a warranty which the other one did not, as well as a lower interest rate. We were having some issues with the car after a few months, brought it in and it had $3400 worth of repair work all covered by the warranty. We are SO grateful for his diligent work - we would not have been able to afford the repair work, so this warranty was a blessing to have. We also love our vehicle! read more

I will never buy a car from any other dealership. We just bought a pre-owned Chevy Cruze and we are in love with it. We applied for financing at the dealership thinking we would be turned down for the hundredth time due to poor credit. Within one day, Kent called us and set us up an appointment. Just a note to all car shoppers. This is the second vehicle we have bought from West Metro in the past 2 years. Justin made the buying process easy and efficient! Took a half hour to appraise my vehicle and buy another. The dealership was very upfront about the purchase price and the value of my trade in. They had their limits but were fair to me. Jim in finance was a treat, so efficient, in and out in no time. I had one issue that really upset me... but guess what, I know that Justin will make it right.
