The church was moved by oxcart in 1902 to its current location on Olive Ave. In 1913 a larger church building was built and the old one was used a school until the St. Ann School was finished in 1925. When it was built the church was run by Jesuit priests, known for their social reform and intellectual enlightenment. Today the church is operated by the Diocese of Palm Beach. Today St. Ann is the only Catholic Church in downtown West Palm Beach. In addition to offering a daily mass, the church also runs the St. Ann Place, a homeless outreach and the St. Ann school which is a prestigious International Baccalaureate World School. The St. Ann church has a long history of administering to the religious needs of both snow birds and those who live in the Palm Beach community full time. What I love most was having the visuals of the Holy Trinity up behind the altar. Even though I didn't see the traditional large Crucifix, I thought the visuals still made being there a holy experience. If you can walk there, definitely do so - I didn't really see any parking available given it's in the downtown area.

I attended Forest Trail Academy for my freshman and sophomore years of high school. I am undeniably…read morecertain that I made the right decision taking these two years of school online. Forest Trail was my first experience with online schooling, and there are definite pros and cons.  Pros:  It's truly at your own pace. There are no deadlines (aside from finishing within the year) so you can work whenever you want to. This is nice for obvious reasons! The work isn't that difficult. Reading through the material gets a bit lengthy, but as long as you have common sense, it will not be difficult for you to pass.  Cons:  If you have inattentive teacher, you're really on your own. I worked best when I focused on one class at a time, and then I would move onto the next class. The final class that I had to finish my sophomore year was my math class. I messaged my teacher quite a bit asking for specific help on specific lessons. The teacher would take anywhere from 4-7 days to respond. And unfortunately, when she did respond, she refused to answer my questions. She would say, "please review the material". This was very frustrating because the material just didn't make sense to me, and my teacher refused to help me.  It's expensive. This is not a bargain by any means. You will definitely be paying a pretty penny to attend Forest Trail. Although, if it's worth it to you for a truly at-your-own-pace school, then it's worth it.  I stopped attending forest trail because of the price and my experience with my math teacher. But, I'm glad that I spent two years enrolled in this school. You could probably find a better deal out there, but Forest Trail is definitely an option that will get the job done.

Small classroom sizes, access to teachers and administrators electronically so we could keep up on a daily basis with their work. More importantly, easy access in person when wanted or needed. Our son chose the arts and is now a stage/film/commercials/voice-over performer after graduating from the Dreyfoos School of the Arts High School and Florida State University. He is a kind, educated and polite young man. Rosarian played a large part in that. Our Daughter performed in the arts through high school, but chose science/health and is now in her first year of Residency as a physician after graduating from the Oxbridge Academy of the Palm Beaches High School and Florida State University. She is a kind, educated and polite young woman. Rosarian played a large part in that. We felt our kids were ahead of the educational curve when they graduated from Rosarian. Both went to academically strong high schools and the Rosarian graduates tended to stand out.

The class sizes were just too large for our child. The child to teacher ratios didn't fit our son's needs. He was having a lot of behavior issues he had never had before, he was bit by another student on his first day and it just kinda spiraled from there. Our son went from being home with us, to a class of 20 with only 2 teachers and it was very overwhelming unfortunately. We really noticed the difference once we moved him to a smaller daycare. His vocabulary and behavior improved significantly moving to a smaller class size. I would definitely recommend Kingswood if your child handles large class sizes well or if your child has always been used to that type of environment. The teachers are very nice and friendly, the amenities are very clean and up to date. They have lots of fun activities for the kids throughout the year. Just really didn't work for our child.
