We went for their goat yoga class and we were pleasantly surprised by a tour of the farm & getting to meet & feed some of the other animals. Manish told us all about all the animals & the farm's sustainable energy and made sure we were enjoying the pre-class tour with lots of jokes. We got to carry the goats from their pen to the yoga area and it was such a cool experience. The class was great -- a good workout with lots of entertainment from jumping baby goats. Our instructor told us about the symbolism of having a goat place all 4 hooves on your back being a gateway to releasing any tension or negativity. Even with a class of about 15 people, they made sure to give all of us plenty of opportunities for the goats to get onto our backs. Those of us who are usually a little nervous around excited animals even felt comfortable enough to play with the adorable baby goats and we were all sad to leave them. If you're looking for a calming, nature focused experience, I would definitely recommend visiting 24 Karat Ranch! It's run by such sweet people and the baby goats are adorable. They offer a bunch of other activities as well so definitely give them a try.

17th Annual Wine Spectators Grand Tasting was held at the Palm Beach County Convention Center…read more Sunday tickets were $250 a piece and this included dish and dessert tastings from 60 South Florida restaurants. It was also 100+ wine/spirit offerings to taste also. The atmosphere was lively and everyone was enjoying the food/drinks and in good spirits! This is my type of crowd and I really enjoyed myself. Creekstone Farms hosted a local chef competition for $10k donation to a local charity. Celebrity guest chefs, Robert Irvine, Tiffany Faison, and Maneet Chauhan were in attendance. I cannot wait until next years! Lastly, Garage parking was $6 flat, way cheaper than City of West Palm $15 rate downtown.

The hosts this year included Robert Irvine, Maneet Chauhan, and Tiffani Faison. The event seemed very well organized, with tents spread out all over the floor of the convention center (several aisles and rows). You picked up a wine glass right when you walked in. The wines they had were excellent, and the samples of food were even better. The few downsides of this event this year (2024) were the LONG line to get in and the amount of people in attendance (shoulder to shoulder with everyone). I was also disappointed that an hour and a half before the event ended, vendors started running out of food. I missed out on 4 stands I REALLY wanted to try because "they ran out of food" or "they ran out of plates/utensils". Big letdown when you pay a high price for a ticket. Did enjoy seeing some of the vendors selling things like merchandise, clothes, ornaments, etc. I would go to another event- but with the hopes that there would be less people (I've heard there's been way less in the past). Tip- buy tickets when they first are released and save over $100/person'

There are many tents, but not too many which makes it easy for you to spend a few minutes at each perusing and chatting with the each vendor getting to know their expertise. One of my favorite stops each year is the Sunshiners tent where you can find handmade outdoor objects that project glass sparkles all over your yard (or house if you place it indoors). They are made from glass and copper! I also love that they have a few food vendors so you can eat while you shop! Kettle corn, arepas, beignets and freshly squeezed lemonade to name a few. It's also right near the beach and a park with pavilions so if you come with kids, either is a great segway from this event. I will be back each year this wonderful event takes place!

I have mentioned it before. Today I attended the Nats vs Astros and we decide to have a sausage and peppers. My buddy gave it to me and it was cold and wet to the touch. The bun I'm talking about here! The sausage itself was cold and overcooked. You could tell it had been sitting on the shelf! Oh and the cost of that was almost $15!!! Sunday on the Waterfront is a free family concert series featuring local and national acts. It is…read moreheld year round on the 3rd Sunday of the month from 4 to 7 PM on the great lawn at the end of Clematis Street. You are allowed to bring blankets, coolers, and chairs but alcohol is not permitted. The city has food vendors and there are several restaurants on the street lining the lawn. Public parking is available on the street and in the city parking garages. The most popular event of the year is the Aloha Islanders Tropical Holiday Spectacular. Staged in front of Sandialnd, the program began with singers and dancers from their school. There was a conch blowing contest and a lot of participation when audience members were brought front and center and taught different dances. The finale was the professional Aloha Islanders dancers and the fire performance which was so thrilling. I loved this show so much that I plan on adding it to my holiday traditions.
