We recently hosted our 10-year-old's party at K1 Speed, and it was a wonderful experience! The staff was friendly, kind, and incredibly accommodating from start to finish. They were attentive throughout the party, always nearby and ready to help whenever we needed anything. They allowed us to bring a cake as well as decorations. They made the entire event run smoothly, allowing us to relax and enjoy celebrating with our guests. The kids had an amazing time racing, and everyone left with smiles on their faces. My boyfriend was so excited to come here for Mother's Day as part of my celebration since he loves racing and we thought it'd be a nice rainy day activity. I also saw they had a Mother's Day promotion for mothers to race free which when I brought up they had no idea about and said they would not honor it. I was pretty upset about that but thought I'd let it pass. I then went to the women's restroom which smelt of such a strong bleach smell and the floors were almost flooded and covered with what I hope was water (most likely toilet water). When we got to race I knew I would be racing slow so I stayed on the outside but yet I kept getting bumped into so it made the whole experience unenjoyable. The staff did nothing about the people who kept bumping into me and my back was hurting like crazy after so I was immobile the rest of the day. I usually don't leave bad reviews as seen on my profile but due to all my issues with not honoring promotions, bathroom cleanliness and unsafe driving on the track I would not recommend for others! read more

Had a blast at K1 Speed! New location in Palm Beach-it was clean, well-organized, and the staff were super friendly. The races are fast-paced, and you get your results right after you finish. There's even a podium for the top 3 racers. It is a bit pricey, but if you go on a promo day, it's a much better value. Highly recommend checking out their weekly deals like Double Points Monday, Buy 2 Get 1 Free Tuesdays, or Race & Play Wednesdays. Glo-Karting on Fridays also sounds awesome (didn't try it this time, but definitely will!). Didn't get a chance to try the food, so can't speak on that. Overall, it was a super fun summer outing and I'll definitely be back, especially on a deal day! read more

Highly don't recommend until they get their stuff together of get new management. They are either grossly understaffed or just mismanaged. Waited in line for about 35 minutes just to check in because there was only one person working the front desk checking people in (although she was very nice and was aware she was left alone). They weren't serving any food except pizza until they ran out of pizza. The arcade is very small and insanely overpriced. One game is an average 55 credits. $25 gets you about 6-7 games. And the bathrooms were disgusting with flooded floors. read more

This is so fun. The carts are fast. It's clean and not a gas cart so there are no fumes. The AC is great. Not hot at all.

The place is disgusting. DO NOT bother with this place. We just raced for the state championship and they were extremely disorganized. My kid was running 2nd on the last lap and a kids car broke down and they decided to completely restart the race. They did not give the cars enough time to charge and restarted everything over. My kid was second again when his car broke down and they would not stop the race. 2nd to last 12 months of effort to make it to states wasted because they are to incompetent and un caring. Second we ran the league night the month before to practice at this track and their bathrooms over flowed and had poop floating down the hall. Told a manager and nothing no caring. Such a fun time. Staff were very friendly and helpful with any questions. The track is fun and you get to do about 8-13 laps per race.

The state championship at West Palm Beach was inaccurate and grossly not the standard. The main race was a predetermined 14 laps which is different than the 12 laps advertised on their website. Multiple cars were broken but the race ended at 14 laps (the adults and teens didn't even get 14 laps). Afterwards, they reneged on the winners and said they would do it again after letting the karts charge for a few short minutes. Imagine our shock when the 3 juniors going to nationals was decided by only 8 laps. That's right. The juniors only completed 8 laps total for the state championship when their website explicitly states "Once someone completes 12 laps, the checkered flag will fly for everyone on track." Surely other state champions got more than just 8 laps. The 8 laps was predetermined by management (not that the race itself ended early) because they had a birthday party booked (which it's a state championship on the line--they shouldn't have birthday parties booked for the morning anyway!). And if you ask them, there were no karts broken either even though two cars stopped on track and they would not stop the race this time. It makes no sense as these kids worked hard all year to have such poor management. Totally unacceptable. read more

Poorly run location and dishonest management. The junior karts are not all even mechanically. Don't believe me? Start taking notes for yourself and keep an eye on the kids that finish in the top on league nights and what karts they are in. Junior karts 40, 42, 41, 47, 50, and 46 are the fastest karts with 40 being the fastest. But fair warning that kart 46 constantly loses power and dies quickly. Junior karts 44, 45, and 49 (49 even has a broken bolt) are the slowest karts and they know this but will tell you they are all even (lies!). Marquees (black guy with dreads) as well as the owner of this franchise Marco are dishonest and have the worst customer service. While Andres appears to care about the customers, his hands are tied when dealing with management higher than him who are dishonest. Among Daytona, Orlando, and Ft. Lauderdale, the West Palm Beach location by far is the most poorly run. Such a shame as the facility is beautiful. Birthday parties here are scheduled with no regard to other events going on simultaneously. Don't waste your time nor money here! Junior league nights for the kids are not for the kids at ALL. Runs incredibly late as it's poorly managed and the kids have school in the morning. Last league, the toilets were overflowing with sewage all over the floors and management did nothing about it after multiple families complained. We will never be back to any K1 Speed. If your child is interested in racing, save yourself your hard earned money, time, and the frustration by googling racing or karting for kids to see other options available in Florida. read more
