I'd like to recognize Casey Colantuoni- as an Outstanding Instructor. Rendering tribute to his excellence and diligence with the 6-12 y.o. hockey camp recently. He also revealed that he is a skilled- graceful skater. He showed unwavering patience and reverence to the smallest skater, my grandson is still boasting about him! He thoroughly enjoyed his week of training. Came away a stronger and faster skater. Tougher/maturing and learning the rules of the game. Thank you for the great experience for him and the others. Awesome ice skating place. Very cold, so dress warm. There are little breaks in between for when they take out a machine on the ice. There's also some food in case you get hungry on the side. Good pricing overall and good for a family event. read more

It was the first ice ring I've ever been to and it was awesome. I had a great time there. Food prices are reasonable and the lighting for the ring is perfect. You can wear a t-shirt and not freeze as well, which is a bonus. read more

I was a fantastic figure skater in my previous life, and I go back for the joy of skating on occasion. I have skated all over the country (regionals, sectionals, junior nationals, and shows) and few facilities can compare to Palm Beach Ice Works. The rink has pretty much everything including an Olympic size sheet of ice, quality sound system, bright lights, WINDOWS, stretching area, gym, locker rooms and plenty of parking. I really enjoy skating here. The hourly rate is a bit high however, you're paying for the quality of the facility. Cost aside, the only reason this received 4 stars is because they advertised a Freestyle session from 5:00 - 6:00pm. About 20 minutes into the session, a hockey coach set out a line of cones and cut off about 10 feet of the rink to train a couple of hockey players. Also, a public skater began skating with rental skates about 35 minutes into the session. I understand the club is small and new but they should change their advertising to truly reflect what type of session I am paying for. Recommended! read more

The cafe is discussing we ordered fries and Ramen noodles and we waited over a half hour for the fries. They cooked it with another order they we're touching it with their bare hand hands and dropping them on the floor and not picking them up. Very dirty we try to get a refund but they did not let us. Very nice place. It was a bit stinky when we walked in due to all the hockey equipment they left up front. Took my five year old nephew for the first time and he didn't enjoy it. He was mostly afraid of falling and still wasn't up for it when I got him the blue holder. I guess he won't be a future hockey player. read more

Very clean and staff was super nice. Big ice rink lots of seats for watching. They had a concession stand with popcorn, hot chocolate and a couple other snacks and drinks. Overall, it was an awesome time and I will definitely be going again. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because the time for open skating is very limited and there's no lockers or designated area for your belongings. read more

Really an awesome spot. The coaches are world class and they're very patient. Some fantastic skaters running routines as well, makes you want to get in the rink, which you can! Skate rentals can be as little as a half hour. The rink is a professional size and there is plenty of space on the ice even in the late morning. It's a new(ish) one-rink facility, and it's very nice. The rink is as big as an official hockey rink, if not bigger. We go during the public sessions on the weekends. Right now, there is a session from 6:00 to 8:00 on Saturday nights. They usually draw a nice mix of people of all ages and levels of experience. The ice doesn't get too chewed up like it does at some rinks, because they keep it cold, hard, well resurfaced, and because the crowds are usually not too large. There is spectator seating along the boards on one end and along one side of the rink, plus additional seating in balconies on both ends. Bring a jacket if you're coming to watch. It's cold in there. There are a few tables, however, in the warmer snack bar area before you enter the actual rink. Also, I'd like to point out that it's not like a giant teenage hang-out. I've been to the places where parents dump off kids by the hundreds. As a 53 year-old, I begin to feel slightly out of place when the next oldest person is 17. But as I've said, anyone can feel comfortable at PB Ice Works. Overall, it's a very nice place to skate. read more

My girls had a great time attending an 11 year old's birthday party there. The staff were super friendly and the ice was in great condition for skating. Though there were 40 plus kids and some very beginner adults that couldn't skate, they were helpful in bringing out the blue skate-sleds and everyone had a very nice, safe time. The skates were also in really good shape, which I can't say about other rinks which have been around for years and use nasty funky-smelling skates. If I could make one comment- it would be to add bathrooms. Only two separate bathrooms with one stall per bathroom: so essentially not enough when you have a large group of people. Nice and clean; and they even serve wine and hot chocolate in the concession booth! read more

Visited Palm Beach Ice works for the first time this weekend. I had a coupon for public skate which I did not realize was different then the teen skate we were attending that night. They were good enough to honor the coupon which was a two for one and very appreciated. The rink was very nice , nice seating and an area in the lobby portion which was quiet and also much more comfortable than other rinks in the area. We will definitely return as I was so happy that it was not overly crowded that night and we were able to skate for two uninterrupted hours in a relaxed atmosphere read more

I have no clue how this place received so many positive reviews....could be one of the worst run places I have ever witnessed....waited an hr for skates, 30 mins for chicken tenders, understaffed with kids that don't know what they are doing....no menu yet serve a boat load of products which they are all out of...complete circus. We couldn't get in. We went on Thursday December 29 at about 1:30 to the open skate and stood in line for 15 minutes without moving an inch. I went and spoke to the front desk because everyone in line thought they stopped letting people in altogether. I was told this was not the case and they are doing the best they could. We waited for about 10 more minutes without moving until we finally went to skate zone. read more

love this rink, been going here for 6 years now, i only trust this rink! Staff and coaches are very nice and rink is affordable. you really are getting your moneys worth. the rink itself is olympic sized and great for practice. they also have a synthetic ice, gym and stretch room. read more

Every time I go to this place I am amazed by the top quality coaches and super personalities of everyone that works there. I don't trust my children's well being to many, but the staff there does a great job of balancing Fun and hard work. If there was a sixth star they would get it from me. read more

Worst place ever! Terrible service! Had to wait outside for over 20 minutes then had to wait inside for awhile!

2 stars because the rental ice skates are so so bad. Will hurt your feet. All my guests were complaining and hurting their feet.

Great rink. Clean as well. Learn to skate was great but was pressured to take private lessons when my kids could barely skate. Wanted them to make it through the Basic Skills program but they didn't even recommend that for my kids. Felt like they just wanted my money. Be careful and don't get lured in to the trap. Great facility, awful service. Waited 2 hours to get my sons skates sharpened. Employees sat behind desk doing nothing while we waited. Left to get lunch and they said they should be done when we got back. Still not done , had to ask a manager to check on them . read more

Too many coaches on the ice at a time for games(2-3) the coaches play in the game and don't allow the kids to play and learn skills.
