I was a fantastic figure skater in my previous life, and I go back for the joy of skating on occasion. I have skated all over the country (regionals, sectionals, junior nationals, and shows) and few facilities can compare to Palm Beach Ice Works. The rink has pretty much everything including an Olympic size sheet of ice, quality sound system, bright lights, WINDOWS, stretching area, gym, locker rooms and plenty of parking. I really enjoy skating here. The hourly rate is a bit high however, you're paying for the quality of the facility. Cost aside, the only reason this received 4 stars is because they advertised a Freestyle session from 5:00 - 6:00pm. About 20 minutes into the session, a hockey coach set out a line of cones and cut off about 10 feet of the rink to train a couple of hockey players. Also, a public skater began skating with rental skates about 35 minutes into the session. I understand the club is small and new but they should change their advertising to truly reflect what type of session I am paying for. Recommended!

Very nice place. It was a bit stinky when we walked in due to all the hockey equipment they left up front. Took my five year old nephew for the first time and he didn't enjoy it. He was mostly afraid of falling and still wasn't up for it when I got him the blue holder. I guess he won't be a future hockey player.

Church rafters-style seating above the entrance.

Really an awesome spot. The coaches are world class and they're very patient. Some fantastic skaters running routines as well, makes you want to get in the rink, which you can! Skate rentals can be as little as a half hour. The rink is a professional size and there is plenty of space on the ice even in the late morning. Thumbs up for the beer at the concession stand.

2 stars because the rental ice skates are so so bad. Will hurt your feet. All my guests were complaining and hurting their feet.

Too many coaches on the ice at a time for games(2-3) the coaches play in the game and don't allow the kids to play and learn skills.

I've been going to shows at iThink Amphitheater in West Palm Beach for a couple of years now, and…read moreI've had nothing but amazing experiences. Here's why. The lineup is solid. Sure, they might not pull the same acts that Miami, Atlanta, or even Tampa get, but considering the market, it's pretty impressive. I've seen Alanis Morissette, Chris Stapleton, Zac Brown Band, Maroon 5, Hootie & the Blowfish, and most recently Jelly Roll and Train. My biggest tip: parking on the side opposite from where everyone else parks (fairgrounds rd) makes a huge difference. Less crowded, easier in and out, and you end up with way more space on that side of the lawn. You can park on the main side and walk over, but trust me, the secondary side is the move. Parking usually runs $25 to $50 depending on the show, so budget for that, though at my last concert (Train) I somehow didn't get charged at all, which has never happened before. General admission lawn seats are the way to go. You get total freedom to sit wherever, get up when you want, grab snacks, hit the bar. You can technically do that from the regular seats too, but there's no real reason to pay extra unless you want cover from the rain. I just bring a poncho and call it a day. One of the best additions they've made in the last couple of years is chair rentals instead of hauling your own. I was skeptical at first, but they dropped the price to $10 this year and now it's genuinely the best deal at the venue. Once a season I'll grab one of their raspberry lemonade drinks in the souvenir cup. They're cute, they're good, and the cups double as shakers at home. Otherwise I limit concessions to 1 drink per show since they're pricey (a drink alone runs about $20). The grounds themselves are beautiful. Grass is always fresh cut and green, and you can tell they put real care into maintaining it. We're lucky to have this venue in our area. It's absolutely worth a visit, or three, every summer.

It's nice how you can bring your own blanket and snacks to the arena and they have chair rentals for $10 if you want to not sit on the ground. They let you bring in your own empty drink container and they have free water refill stations and cooling/misting stations to cool you down. There's tons of bars/food stands around so you never have to wait that long in a line. Theres also plenty of bathrooms both porta potties and regular bathrooms. My friends and I sat on the lawn and it was perfect we had plenty of space and could spread out. I love how they put screens right where the lawn starts so you don't have to strain to see the screens by the stage. It is very hot out there so make sure to bring a fan, umbrella if it's an earlier show to hide from the sun/rain. The grass is wet sometimes so bring 2 blankets cause it'll soak through. Great arena, reasonable food and drink prices, great vibes. Leaving is a pain in the butt though.

We went to listen to our 9 year old granddaughter sing one song in her school chorus there. Parking is available for $25 and valet is $35 but if you have a handicap placard, it's free. When we went in, there was lots of signage. The park is gorgeous. Clean, lots of security, blooming flowers, lush greenery. Unfortunately we missed the chorus because they started earlier than the time they told us to be there. However, we met up with rest of family and enjoyed the park. The kids went on the carousel. I joined them. Then there were kiosks filled with various merchandise which they were selling. Afterwards, there was an equestrian jumping competition. I was in awe. There was stadium seating. This was all FREE! There was a huge screen broadcasting the entire event for all to see. Food areas were on the grounds to purchase fast food. It was something to behold and we can't wait to return another time with other friends to view the horses and next competition. I understand they have this every Saturday.

We purchased tickets for the Tiki restaurant to have guaranteed seats, however we would not do that again. The open seats that are first come - first serve are actually directly in front of the riding ring. The tiki area has limited view with each a price of $100 a ticket. Made little sense once we figured out the view was not great. We ate food there, it was good- not amazing. It did fill the spot. There are plenty of areas to take photos with statues of horses, a free merry go round, flowers, etc. It was great entertainment. I grew up competing and riding hunter jumpers, so I am partial ... however I think anyone would enjoy an evening out viewing these beautiful horses, people watching, eating and shopping! Enjoy! (four stars due to the limited view with a high price to sit there) Parking was $25 and the event to walk in was free.

But the openness of the amphitheater was an excellent venue to have a beer festival. Pint glasses were handed out, which were a bit tedious to tote as opposed to lanyards in other fests I have attended. Security was tight as expected. Possibly 15 independent craft breweries were represented plus one famed name brand, Guinness. Long lines formed to try different types of IPAs, lagers, wheat beers, stouts, porters, Belgian ales to name a few. Beautiful weather with friendly people and background bands on stage made for an enjoyable afternoon. There were many water stations available to drink or rinse your pint glass. Some of the brewers had water available to washout your glass. South Florida has some excellent diversity in breweries.
