And if two of your fillings fall out within a year or two.. they'll cover them. But only if you buy a $biteguard. They have so many 5 star reviews! But also have amazing rewards (bribes) for writing them... for what that's worth.. Where's this coming from? I have a huge gap in between my teeth! The gap was filled by my family dentist when I was 16. 20+ years later it broke. Bummer.. it looks terrible. At the same time, a filling in the back from Dynamic fell out when I was eating something.. and is painful. After waiting two weeks for an appointment, primarily to fix the gap. I'm told by dentist he won't do it.... He won't use the same process and material my family dentist used 20 years ago.... Because it will break. I of course need a $Crown. Unfortunately with a new baby at home and a remodel over budget my finances are directed elsewhere. So crown isn't an option... how about fixing your customers smile temporarily? Not an option . ... mouth numbed for no reason at this point Im told he won't help me. He won't do it. I say you're wasting my time.. Dentist walks out the room. No explanation. No acknowledgement that you literally are wasting my time... to me, extremely unprofessional. If I were to guess.. the margin just isn't high enough. Fair enough. But to top it off they refer me to Aspen Dental.. because their "standard of care" may be more in line with what I need. lol whoa. a quick check online shows aspen with 1.3 / 5 stars with 40 reviews... I'll pass thanks though. It's rare to fill the need to write something like this.. but that was crazy. Typing this as I wait for my same day appointment at another highly rated dentist who apparently is happy to help when people are in need. For some.. this dentist may be great. There's a lot of flash. I'm sure if there's a response to this, it will be my fault in some way. Not taking care of my teeth.. etc. But that's part of being a dentist I'm sure. The primary purpose is to serve the people in your neighborhood. To only have the most expense solutions available is pretty .. f'd. And really.. I just need some fillings. I'm looking forward to finding a good old fashioned dentist again . Repeat-- the staff here is always super friendly and great at what they do!

When I complained, they knocked off a few hundred dollars, but would not live up to their original estimate. There were no issues or complications, and they had no evidence I had ever been quoted more than the original $5,000. I call it "bait and switch" at best or "dishonest" at the least. If you decide to use this dentist I recommend you get a written estimate in advance and expect to pay more.

I went to get my teeth cleaned twice at this location. The first time I went in, the hygienist did…read morea fantastic job. Gave me a deep clean and spent nearly 45 min-1hr working on my teeth. Was very happy with the cleaning so I went back. The second time I went in to get my teeth cleaned, it was a newer hygienist and she was not prepared. Spent 10-15 min when I first sat down getting her things together. Then after the Dr checked me out, she spent MAYBE a total of 15 min cleaning my teeth. She had made a comment about how good my teeth look, and I think that therefore meant to her that she didn't need to spend time actually doing a deep clean. Which is absolutely not how that works. If I'm spending $300 out of pocket for you to clean my teeth, you'd better be looking in all the little nooks and crannies. I was in and out of that office in under an hour and was very upset at the cleaning I received. I tried to talk to the front desk about it but they were very uninterested and far from helpful. Basically gave me a, "Oh well. Pay us the $300." Will never return here.

I am writing a review because I needed a tooth pulled and was very nervous about the procedure. Sunrise Dental and Alex, at the front was amazing! I called several times with questions and concern and she was patient, very professional and kind. After getting my tooth pulled, the dentist even called me later on that day to check on how I was feeling. That level of customer service is hard to find. Although getting a tooth pulled is never a great experience, they made it the best experience possible!

We went and found out they were not in network so decided to not go again. My wife's fellow employee's said that they were back in network so she called in said "great that you are now in network" and they didn't say crap about that. We got an "estimate" which did not disclose in writing or verbally that they were not in network with Cigna. Their "estimate" was we would be responsible for $1,154.00 out of $2,778. Had some work done and they called us to let us know insurance was paying what they thought it would so we stopped treatment. Total bill was $2,004 and our responsibility is $1,580. The hygienist, Nikki, was the most sweet and caring person and made my first appointment incredible. She was very kind and explained the entire process to me, what she saw on the monitor, and why the treatment plan was recommended with opportunity for me to change if I wanted to. Dr.Derek was very nice as well and both were sensitive about my oral history as well as genuine with how we will move forward. This office puts every other dentist I've ever had to shame because Dr.C's office has the most competent and knowledgeable crew you will find in Washington.
