John West and his team (we primarily worked with John & Daniel) are absolutely amazing! Our family was relocating to Idaho from out of state and my wife and I feel so fortunate to have found John. We never felt John was trying to "sell" us a home. He was a trusted advisor and guided us with fact-based, non-emotional info. He was personable and took the time to get to know us, including our 6-year old son. Once we entered escrow, John called us every week (Tuesday update calls!) to check in and provide added info. His team was also amazing in helping with any needs along the way, providing a great liaison with the seller's agent to ensure we got all questions answered about the home (measurements for furniture, etc.). And it didn't stop there. Even after closing, John provided us with a list of trusted vendors, as well as ensuring we completed our Homeowner's Exemption info with the county, to save on property taxes. It is very obvious John has spent a lot of time systematizing his business to ensure no stone goes unturned. You'll appreciate John's organization, personal touch, and professionalism. Have no fear hiring Lauren Clark! My Realtor, Lauren Clark, is a powerhouse, a truly rare person, and one of those whose love for helping others really shows. To be a recipient of her knowledge and work ethic undeniably equaled more money in my pocket! When Lauren has listed a property, she isn't afraid to spend money to make money. That is so difficult for almost everybody to do, particularly since there's absolutely no guarantee that no matter how hard she works for you, that she'll ever see a dime. She stages property without complaining and without charging you, and she lets you know when to leave something as is rather than spend money remodeling. As an example, our laundry "room" was in a closet in a room designated as the sewing or craft room. I was prepared to have a contractor come in and move it to another place, which would have cost me several thousands of dollars -- as well as the delay getting the house on the market of course. But thank Heavens Lauren said no, to wait until a buyer asked for them to be moved. She was right! Two separate families offered full price, and neither wanted the laundry room moved! She is a good photographer herself, yet she hires professionals. She talks with her co-workers, her Broker, everybody to get their take on the property; she is not too proud to learn more. Lauren is your best advocate, and during the time of selling or buying a home, isn't that exactly who you want? Someone experienced and really, truly on your side? Well, here's another example: A minor problem developed on my home's sale, and I was just ready to bury my head in the sand and let the buyers deal with it. Three times I came up with ideas to do just about that, and three times Lauren stuck to her instincts and said No again, that that would leave me open to too much liability. She didn't argue, she didn't budge, she just stuck to her knowledge and quietly, professionally, said No, that she couldn't let me do that. Too much liability for me. She communicates wonderfully well. You don't have to ask why hasn't she answered you, why hasn't she called. She had Continuing Education while working with me, a State Licensing education requirement, so had her company's transaction manager continually working with me. What did she do during this time? Phone me on breaks the class had. She is so one-on-one and so much your advocate. She's honest, pretty, dresses well, makes you feel as though you are her only worry in the entire world.
