Mike is the pilot and Jason is the co-pilot. I have never had an issue with my cars after service was performed on them. Both Mike and Jason are friendly, courteous, and very professional when it comes to fixing the cars. Before any major work is performed on the cars, I am given a courtesy call as to what needs to be done to them. If your car needs to be serviced, I would suggest to call a couple of days in advance because they do get busy servicing other vehicles. They drove us to the mall to have lunch and hang out until the car was ready,and drove us back. Tom explained everything he did and gave us great information about other work we might want to do on our 24 year old car. I recently had quite an adventure with my car. It all started when I got my oil changed and had a…read morestate inspection done in another state. I was driving from Pennsylvania to Virginia, on my way to Charlotte. I planned to stay overnight in a hotel in Virginia before continuing my journey. The place that did my oil change mentioned they couldn't reset the service reminder/error message on the screen. So, while I was driving to Virginia, my car kept flashing "Oil pressure low." It was 11 PM, and I had no idea where to stop. I assumed it was just the reminder not being reset, as the service provider had informed me. I made it to the hotel, but the next day, my car wouldn't start. It made loud knocking noises and had jumpy movements. I stopped and towed my car from Virginia to the BMW dealer in Charlotte. A couple of days later, the dealer called and informed me that the car didn't have enough engine oil--only one quart! They recommended replacing the entire engine and quoted a whopping $27,000 for a remanufactured engine. I was shocked! Even my 2016 car wouldn't resale for that price. Desperate for options, I called companies that buy cars with failed engines, and they quoted me $1,500. Then, THANK GOD, I called Euroenvy to check if they could replace the engine. They asked why I needed a new engine, and after explaining the issue, they quoted a price, and I approved the job. I then called BMW to release my car, and they offered to replace the engine for $19,000 with a used engine that had 79k miles. I declined and asked them to release the car. I towed the car to Euroenvy, thinking they were going to replace the engine. This is when the MIRACLE happened. Euroenvy called and said they weren't sure why I needed an engine replacement. They ran some diagnostics and asked me every single question about what had happened. After a thorough test run, they discovered that my engine didn't need replacement at all! The issue was a leaking oil drain plug, stripped by the first place that did the oil change. They fixed it, test-ran the car, checked for any leaks, and found none. They charged me $243 for the service, and my car has been running super fine ever since. In 2 weeks, the agony i went through is something cannot be explained (from $27000 to $19000 to $1500 to sell the car to now. This is not just about money. It is a combination of money + agony that we were going through the whole time. Euroenvy could have just replaced the engine as I already approved the job (BTW their engine replacement is way cheaper than the dealer) but they didn't do it. They did what was right and I just LOVE this place. Until I live in Charlotte, you will be my GO TO place for my car. In today's world, it's easy to find smart people, but honesty is a very rare quality. Euroenvy is a place that combines both smartness and honesty. You are the best, and I will never forget this experience.

Having had the misfortune of losing the only key fob to my car, and not being able to find a…read morelocksmith to program for a Volvo, my only choice was to have my car towed the the dealership the weekend before Memorial Day. It took around 3 days to program, and then was told the starter control unit was bad. It took another week for the work to be done. There were a few reasons given for this, and all of this would have been okay if there were any attempt at communication on their end. There wasn't. They had to be called several times to find out when it might be ready. After asking for the total cost before picking it up, we were told that the cost was four hundred dollars more than expected ( they hadn't included the tax. After driving away, the emergency brake was engaged and required quite a bit of finagling to release. Upon calling the dealership to let them know what happened, I wasn't offered an apology, just a statement that they weren't responsible and to have it towed. Overall, it seems that the mechanical work was solid, with the exception of leaving the emergency brake on. However, next time I will take my chances on another dealership, one that prioritizes communication and customer service.

One of the reasons I have remained loyal to the brand is its longstanding reputation for safety. Unfortunately, my recent service experience at University Volvo Cars left me deeply disappointed and has significantly reduced my confidence in the quality and thoroughness of the work performed. I arrived for a scheduled 3:00 PM appointment to have my vehicle's 100,000-mile service performed. As part of the service process, I expected the vehicle to receive a thorough inspection and for any safety concerns or recommended repairs to be communicated to me before the vehicle was returned. I waited at the dealership for approximately two hours. During that time, I was never given the opportunity to discuss all of the issues identified with my vehicle or make informed decisions about recommended repairs while the vehicle was being serviced. After inquiring about the status of my vehicle, I received a text message that my car was ready, along with a video of the completed service. However, there was no mention that my requested tire rotation had not been performed, nor was there any discussion regarding multiple service alerts that appeared on the dashboard immediately upon startup. The alerts included: * Driver Support System - Reduced Functionality - Service Required * City Safety - Reduced Functionality - Service Required * Regular Maintenance Required These are not minor cosmetic issues. They relate to vehicle systems that Volvo markets as important safety features. What concerns me most is not simply that these issues remained unresolved, but that they were not communicated to me before the vehicle was returned. Had I not observed the warnings myself, I would have driven away unaware that these systems still required attention. When I raised my concerns, I was informed that the technician had already left for the day. By that point, the opportunity to discuss the condition of the vehicle and available options had passed. The service manager offered explanations about why the issues may have been overlooked, but I was disappointed that there was little accountability for such significant omissions. Later, I was asked whether I wanted her to see if someone else could address the concerns. However, by that point, my confidence had already been shaken. If major safety-related warnings were "IGNORED" while the vehicle was already being serviced and on the lift, it was difficult to trust that any subsequent review would be thorough. This experience left me questioning the overall quality of the inspection and service that was performed. If obvious safety-functionality alerts were IGNORED, not communicated, or addressed during a scheduled maintenance visit, how can a customer have confidence that the rest of the inspection was conducted thoroughly? Customers should not have to discover that these issues "STILL" persist after being told their vehicle is ready. As a longtime Volvo customer, I found this experience extremely disappointing and inconsistent with the level of communication, accountability, and safety-focused service I have come to expect from the Volvo brand. Safety has always been one of the primary reasons I have chosen Volvo, and this experience left me feeling that the safety of my vehicle--and by extension, my family and me--was not treated with the level of care and attention it deserved.

Went in for a general tune-up and left $1400 in the hole with another $1000 quoted to fix an oil leak (90% labor) which I chose not to do. Part of the $1400 included new breaks and 2 new tires. The breaks have been squeeking ever since and I have avoided bringing it back. The $1000 oil leak has not shown itself. Before this experience, the last few were noticeably different in how I was spoken to and treated, but I thought they always did great work at a good price. Now, I am not so sure it hasn't become just like any other "buyer beware" service garage.
