I have been using West Town Walkers for approximately 5 months and it has been wonderful. I have an energetic young boxer that is very uncomfortable around men. I was a little nervous when my dog was assigned to work with Alex however he has been amazing. He comes Monday-Friday and gives me daily reports. On occasion he will send me beautiful pictures of my dog (every time I get one I make it my desktop background at work and everyone loves them). He was able to work with my dog to make her comfortable and when my roommates see Alex with Charlee they have mentioned that they are a little jealous of how much she loves him and how excited she gets to see him. Working from home for the last year gave me much flexibility as it relates to my Izzy girl. Starting the new year I needed to spend more time at the office, which made me panic- who would let Izzy out? I reached out to Robin, who is a delight from the start. We absolutely love our walker Jacob from West Town Walkers. He is very reliable, and very pleasant as a person. Always happy to help. There have been a few times I needed our dog Sasha to go to the vet for example and he would take her, or when we go I out of town I have no doubt in my mind that Sasha is in good hands. We've checked with our doorman when we first started with WTW, 2 years ago, and he always came on time as agreed regardless if we are there or not. Oh and Jacob is actually a VERY talented photographer. We ordered some pictures from him (this is separate from the walking servic, it's his hobby) the prints were AMAZING. Our friends even make fun of us that Sasha had a professional "modeling shoot." Our experience has been great. We are completely comfortable with Jacob having our keys, he had them for about 2 years now. When Jacob can't come, we had another walked Steven, he was great also. And of course, none of this would be possible without their owner Robin, who at this point is like a family friend. Always understanding and ready to help. With all our last minute schedule changes and random trips I'm surprised she didn't curse me out yet lol but somehow she deals with us and we are very lucky to know her. Wonderful team of people. We have been using WTW for about 6 months and we honestly could not be happier with Robin and Amy. For starters, their organization is on point. Every Sunday, like clockwork, I get a text from Robin, the owner, confirming that we still need our daily walk as scheduled for the upcoming week. Amy has been the only walker we've had and I'm exceedingly grateful to her. The daily text updates of their time together was always appreciated, but when our little lady got sick, and I mean REALLY sick, in her crate, Amy bathed her and cleaned the crate and surrounding areas as best as she could. I'll spare you all the details, but I can attest to her spending much more time doing that than the 15 minutes that she was scheduled for. About a year ago I decided I was FED up with my walkers that I had been using for years. A friend recommended West Town and I am SO glad they did. My dog is sometimes weird with new people, leash reactive and just a handful :). Robin and my Walker, Steve, are awesome. They are responsive, responsible and kind. If I have a schedule change or a last minute cancellation, it is no big deal. Robin reminds me when I have to buy another package and checks in consistently. I've been using West Town Walkers for over three years now, and I cannot say enough good things. I got my pup Ellie as a young rescue, and somehow found West Town almost right away. Robin was easy to work with, and immediately set up a time to have her walker come out and meet our new dog and get a sense of what we needed. Jacob met Ellie the next day, and has been her walker ever since. I have had absolutely zero problems with Robin or Jacob. Jacob comes as requested every time, Robin responds to texts almost instantly (does the woman sleep???) and I've felt comfortable using them since day one. Also, when I need to change things up or move something around, they've always managed to accommodate. One walk a week? Ok! Twice a day? Sure! We've worked with Robin and Patrick at West Town Walkers since June for our now 9 month old puppy, Roscoe. They've been helpful, trustworthy, and flexible since day 1. We adopted him on a Saturday and needed a dog walker on Monday--super anxiety producing for first time dog-owners! Patrick came by Sunday and put our worries at ease. Since then, he's been a wonderful part of Roscoe's day. Particularly, when Roscoe was a baby and got sick in his crate, Patrick took the time to give him a bath (not his favorite activity...). We have now used West Town Walkers three separate times for cat sitting services over the last nine months - and we are very, very pleased with them and will continue to use them. Having recently moved to Chicago I was a little skeptical of how cat sitting worked, because I have always had friends watch my cat when on vacation - but any skepticism was relieved as soon as I met Robin. Robin is great to talk to and is super personable and very professional. She will come to your house to do a meet and greet with you and your pet, then after that scheduling with her is so easy. You can call, text, e-mail...whatever works best for you - and she is quick to respond (I generally text with her) . She will text/chat/email with you while you are on vacation if you want to check in with her too. This past time, she texted me as she left our house just to check in and let me know our cat was doing great. She feeds them, does the litter (and brings it to your garbage shoot) and plays with them...she also brings in the mail if asked! Her schedule is totally flexible - I had her come a couple times over Christmas and even then it wasn't a problem (I do let her know in advance though - I don't call the night before). I can obviously only speak from a cat sitting standpoint, but I cannot imagine that any other services would be treated in any other way. read more

We've had WTW for over 2 years, so obviously we recommend them....you trust them with your pet and access to your home, so trust is first and foremost, and we wouldn't have stayed with any service that we didn't think highly of. We've had several people from WTW walk our dog over the past few years, and earlier on had a few concerns with previous walkers which is why the 4 stars. When we brought them to Robin the owner, she was very open to our concerns and worked to clarify and remedy any issues we have had. I bumped into Robin, owner of West Town Walkers, a couple of weeks after I got my puppy, Brann. He is my first dog ever, so I wanted to be very careful when it came to choosing his walker. I live in the south loop, where you can't help but bump into a dog and/or dog walker every five seconds. Robin just gave off a great vibe when I met her and I instantly liked her. I decided to give her group a try. She set me up with Dee, one of her employees. I have found Dee to be very kind and warm toward Brann. I've had multiple neighbors tell me that they have seen Brann with Dee and she is awesome with him. I've now been using West Town for several months and could not be happier. I have a very erratic schedule and they ALWAYS accommodate my needs. I have texted Robin at the last minute for changes and she always comes through.
