I would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank Dr. Bohra and his entire staff of professionals for providing me with the best periodontic service that I have ever received. Prior to my encounter with Dr. Bohra, I had been told by my primary dental service provider that he would have to pull six of my back upper molars due to bone loss caused by severe infection in my gums. Before committing to undergo surgery to remove teeth, I informed my dentist that I would seek out a second opinion. After extensive research, the periodontist that stood out among the "best of the best" (in my opinion) was Dr. Bohra. From the moment I walked into Dr. Bohra's office, I felt completely at ease. During my first initial consultation with Dr. Bohra I felt as though I was talking to a life-long friend. He has an innate ability to immediate put you at ease. After thoroughly analyzing and examining my situation he informed me that my gums were indeed infected but my teeth were solidly rooted in my jaw. I remember him telling me that pulling teeth would be the last option. To make a long story short, Dr. Bohra successfully removed the infections via several "painless" surgeries and put me on a 3-month follow up schedule for deep root cleaning. Eventually I did have one tooth removed, but the other 5 are free from infections, no bleeding, and no sensitivity. If you're considering dental implants then my recommemdation is to allow Dr. Bohra to perform this work for you. There are probably quite a few capabable dentists that do dental implants, but I think it would be hard to find anyone who matches Dr Bohra's attention to detail and experience. Dr Bohra may not remember your name, but that's because he's focused on providing the best care possible. He meets regularly with other dentists to review cases and case histories. He's been doing this type of work for decades. He does the surgery in his office. His high standards and expectations carry over to the excellent staff, who've worked with him for years. I put this procedure off for many years, fearing the pain and discomfort I expected as a result of major gum surgery. So far(1 day post op) all is much better than I expected--not much discomfort yet. Dr. Martin is as gentle as she can be with this aggressive of a procedure. As always, a great experience. Dr. Bohra did four implants about 5 or 6 years ago and the follow up has been excellent. The office staff is friendly and congenial, wait time is minimal, and the hygienist, Taylor Lessard, does an excellent job with minimal discomfort.
