Vargo physical therapy is the very best I have ever been to. Joyce Ambrosia is the manager and she…read moreis so knowledgeable in her craft. Had back surgery and went to them, she really knows a lot about backs after surgery and prescribed great exercises and she monitors your progress and would send to my back doctor. Never had anyone follow through with this type of physical therapy. Her staff are all very good and caring, I would highly recommend them and would never go to anyone else in the future. You will not be disappointed and again a big shout out to Joyce Ambrosia.

I've had to actually calm myself down from my VERY BAD experience this morning. Showed up at 7 am…read more New patient. Came with all of my paperwork filled out, including the referral form from my doctor. I saw her a week ago for back pain that had been troubling me for several weeks. Several weeks of pain. Took me another week to get a PT appointment. The office emailed me some documents yesterday but did not ask for my physician referral to see if anything might be wrong with it (spoiler alert: there was). If there was ONE DOCUMENT that could prevent a patient from having their PT appointment if it were incorrect in some way, wouldn't it be smart to ask for that in advance? So I was "greeted" at the desk by a woman who was not pleasant. No "welcome in" for a new patient - I guess they don't really need new patients here. She took my forms and then asked me what my diagnosis was. I have no idea what my doctor wrote on the form - I have back pain! You're a PT clinic! Perfect match! Yay - let's go! Nope. Made me log into my physician portal and send her my doctor's appointment notes. Done. Not good enough. Literally - her notes say "back pain. back injury." Again - seems like a great match for physical therapy! Which is why she prescribed....physical therapy! Nope. Unpleasant Desk Attendant called a manager over to confer, and 15 minutes later, I was refused service. No offer to call my doctor's office to solve the problem. No concern whatsoever that I'm a patient in pain. The bureaucracy and paperwork reigns. I'll be yelling at my doctor's office - don't worry - but the lack of concern here at Vargo was beyond disappointing. I'll get this issue resolved and I'll probably have to wait another 2 weeks to get an appointment.....but it won't be here.

I cannot say enough good things about counterstrain!! Jazmin SAVED me and my back. I had back pain…read morefor 4 years, no one knew what was wrong and I tried it all - PTs, doctors, injections, acupuncture, lasers, massages and I was never able to see significant improvement until I started counterstrain. After a few months I was amazed at my ability to do certain activities and movement without pain. Now a year later, I am still pain free. The best part is that I don't get re-triggered or flared by the old things that would've hurt me. The treatment actually gets to the root cause of the issue, unlike the bandaid therapies I tried before. Jazmin is also such an angel, easy to talk to and really knows what she's doing. I know if I ever get injured in the future I'm coming straight to her. You won't be healed over night, but it's 100% worth the time and money for an actual lasting solution.

If you are looking for a real and professional massage, come to this place and ask for Jazmin! What…read moresets this experience apart is that Jazmin is both a physical therapist and a massage therapist, and it completely shows. The session was incredibly informative and educational. She took the time to explain exactly what was going on with my body and muscles. She released a huge amount of tension and pain across my entire body, especially in my shoulders. I walked out feeling lighter, fully relieved, and genuinely educated on how my body works. I cannot recommend Jazmin enough! And will book again soon!

DON'T GO HERE! NO ONE KNOWS WHAT THEY ARE DOING! I went to physical therapy here for TWO YEARS…read moreand the staff was warm but no one knows what they are doing. This place is run with the low quality of care and the place is run by Patricia who is the only qualified physical therapist all all the rest of the employees are pt assistants or pt interns who just take orders. Sometimes she's not even there. I was diagnosed with tinnitus by my Primary Doctor Dr. Ojen Masour who reffered me to the place. I thought I was a good hands. I spent TWO YEARS GOING HERE! I and was there for an hour two days a week doing the work and paying out the nose. My Primary doctor diagnosed me with Tendonitus and I was doing everything I was supposed to, and I endured a huge amount of pain that very, very slowly decreased but I still had pain when I stopped going there. I didn't learn this until years later that I should have been out of there in 6 months. Not until I moved out of the area and went to a different physical therapy place. The new physical therapist was much more professional and through at taking measurments/modern tools, and medical notes with my first appointment and she quickly determined that I had Tennis Elbow. Once I started with the new physical therapist the treatment was far less gruleing and I was done in 6 months. I don't know the first thing about filing a grievance, and I can't go back in time to get my time or money back. Thought I wish I had listened to my inner voice and stopped going to them and gotten a second opinion. There was a several times I asked Patricia to provide me with my prescription so that I can go somewhere else. She got psycho angry and said no! There was a time I thought she might hit me! I was in so much pain I couldn't stop seeing them because if I just missed one day of physical therapy my pain would rapidly increase. Patricia was furious and she got close to my face and said no. SHE IS A BULLY and she was convinced she was giving me the right treatment when in fact she had two much pride and ego to even consider I could be misdiagnosed. Unfortunately I learned later until I spoke to more friends including my sister who is a Nurse she told me the Physical Therapist should have given me the diagnosis in the first place NOT my Primary Doctor. Its the Physical Therapists job to do the assessment at your first appointment and give the diagnosis.

Her first therapist was the founder of this establishment John Geary. She subsequently has had as a therapist Kathy and the very knowledgeable Debbie both exceptional therapists. She probably has a plaque there with her name on it with her own room. After a horrible accident a few years ago Diane and I were made whole again thanks to the terrific people working there. It's like a large group of people who are like family to us. The atmosphere is warm and friendly. They handle it all. Therapy on shoulders, knees, neck, arms etc are available to patients who will receive expert care. The office with luz, and Karen is knowledgeable and efficient, and along with the lovely Nicole they all make the therapy a wonderful experience. I would be remiss in not mentioning the terrific staff that puts you through the exercises lead by Patty and Sam. All in all they will expertly take care of you in this amiable environment . They are amazing in how they put up with me. I truly recommend anybody in need of therapy to find their way to this establishment that is perfectly named a community.
