Why is it that there is ALWAYS something that has to happen... She told me to leave my purse and jacket because we would be coming back to the room... And when we returned there was someone else in the room!!! Really??? I would give a zero if I had the opportunity to. The doctors are fine.. for.. well lets just say they are a half grade up from Mexican physicians in border towns. The Office manager/receptionist/ helpers are down right rude. Wal-Mart greeters have better personalities then this team. Companies that provide great service will out last this recession. My daughter and I went to West Valley Vision recently. The staff was very nice. We were in and out of there within 45 minutes. After our exams (which they scheduled together :-) ) we were taken over to the area where you are fitted for glasses. I was not ready to purchase my glasses that day, but they were not pushy at all and they allowed me to walk around and check out all the frames so I would know what I liked when I decided to purchase them. I have recently moved to the West Valley from out of state. Due to two relocations in the last two years, this is the third vision center I have visited in the last few years. West Valley was was as good as any of them, if not better. I saw Dr. Martin and he was very thorough and personable. I did not look into new glasses as my prescription hadn't changed since my last visit to see an optometrist. After insurance was factored in, there were no surprise charges. read more

The Doctors here are lovely and the staff at one point were wonderful. However the staff these days are a huge disappointment. The majority of the staff is Hispanic and they speak Spanish in front of you. It made me feel like they were talking about me or other patients. Not worth the price to come here when your treated like your nothing. read more

This business is awesome! If you haven't tried them, you are missing out. I'm a regular for my yearly eye tests. Recently, I was roughhousing with my 4 year old grandson and took a finger to the eyeball. I was in agony for the rest of the weekend. Monday morning my wife called for an appointment and they immediately were able to fit me in. What they did that day was nothing short of amazing. My follow up was yesterday and again, over the top. While I was waiting, I asked the eye glass technician about repairing some Ray Ban's that I quit wearing a year ago because they were damaged. So today, I dropped them off and they fixed them N/C on the spot. I am so very happy to have this business in my area! Thank you to the entire staff. read more

The staff that helps you order glasses was terrible. Felt rushed to pick out frames. Services were not explained, even after asking for clarification. The staff actually said that a pair of glasses looked ugly and then took them away from me and sat them on her side of the counter (out of my reach). Worst eyeglass buying experience ever. I have been to eye doctor's my whole life! But I have never understood why glasses or contacts don't work at all for me until dr. Martin explained in detail what my issue's are. I was in there for over a hour I was in shock that in this day and age he took the time and care to to tell me my options and didn't want to put me back in progressive lenses again and I spend all that money that I didn't have to go through the same failure I always go through. Long and short of it I love that doctor. It felt like the old days when doctor's really cared about there patients and we weren't just a number and a new living room set for there trophy wife. Unfortunately I have to use this center due to insurance reasons- my family and I have been going here for over 2 years. In that time they have huge errors in my prescription needs. I repeatedly told them that I had vertigo and headaches- but they didn't listen. After multiple attempts to get this corrected- it still isn't right. I sure wish I could go someplace else. read more

The office appears and behaves very professionally. However, I have never had the experience of getting glasses, not once but twice, and having my vision be worse than prior to either new refraction. The 1st refraction was from UCLA, the 2nd from WV Vision. My best guess is that there is a problem with their on-site lab; it seemed that the lenses were not properly aligned in the frames. Whatever, I wasn't interested in continuing the process ad infinitum, so got a refund and went to Central Phoenix Eye Care where I got perfect glasses the 1st time around (as is supposed to happen). I'm always impressed with Dr. Lundquist's willingness to spend time discussing and explaining issues and questions. Unlike most healthcare professionals these days, he never acts like he is just trying to rush patients through the office. This past Monday 11/12/18 I called to schedule my son an appt. his eyes have been hurting, the receptionist said who is not a doctor said he doesn't need an appt. he needs to readjust his glasses. So I then asked for a Supervisor and Natalie came on the phone and said she'd talk to Dr. Moore to see if he needed to come in and she'd call back she did call only to say the Dr. had left and she'd ask tomorrow, well it's now Friday 11/16/18 and I haven't heard back from them. In the mean time my son is still having pain in his eyes and no call back. They do not care about their patients but I bet if it was their child they would have an a appt. for them!! Dr. Furey any suggestions as to when I my son can get an appt. here soon I hope!!! I think you need a new receptionist who will just make an appt and not think she's a doctor!! read more

This is my second year going to West Valley Vision, and I've been very happy with the level of service and professionalism I've received. I love the machine they use in place of dilating your eyes -- not just because it's easy at the time, but the doctor pulled up my scans from last year to show me a side-by-side comparison. Really great! I'm still getting used to wearing contacts and Dr. Martin has been so helpful in offering different options. My family and I have been going here for ten years now. It seems that our experience as patients has actually improved as their business has grown. They always take us back for preliminary exams within a couple of minutes of our arrival, and have never needed to wait more than five minutes for the doctor to arrive after reaching the final examination room.
