Steve(n?), one of the owners, took care of my family's leaking toilet issue, removed the rusted 60+ year old, cast iron "J" pipe & installed a PVC pipe. We needed the subfloor replaced around where the flange was because the last bathroom remodel some worker was not watching & cut through the subfloor making it weak. As far as plumbing or any other sourced work goes, you-get-what-you-pay-for. He was not the least expensive plumber in the Bristol, Connecticut area. I called this company this afternoon to schedule an appointment to have my sewer pipe unclogged. I was told that they would be here between 3-5 P.M. At 2:30 P.M., I decided I had time to go and make a deposit at my bank. At 2 minutes to 3, I arrived at my house to find that my mother, who is living with me because she's too old to live independently, allowed them inside against my wishes. My mother had no idea where the main sewer pipe was so, they had to go into my bedroom where there is a door to that small space. That means they also had to open the other doors to find it while I was not there! My bedroom is my personal space. It is my sanctuary. I don't appreciate strangers in there when I am not home. Who would? They should have asked if the homeowner was home. Then, they should have waited until at least 3 P.M. to see if I would be there and not have entered until I was there. That would have been the professional thing to do. I told my mother I didn't appreciate her letting them inside. Because my mother is 89 years old, she is hard of hearing so, I have to talk loudly. The man told me that I was being rude to her. I wasn't. We are very frank with each and always have been. That is the way we are. The man said that I should have more "respect" for her. I told him she should show some too. After all, it is my house and my bedroom she allowed strangers to enter. He told me that normally people complain when they are late and not when they are early. I did not complain that they were early. My issue was that they came into the house without the homeowner (me) being present. Then, the man was talking to my mother about the trees in the front yard and how they may be affecting the clogged pipe. I told the man that I was the homeowner, not her. At that point, he took offense at that and told his co-worker that they were "out of here" and that he never met such a "rude person" in all his life. They went down stairs and were whispering about my jogging suit and he called my jewelry "fake ass". It isn't but, that should not matter to him! He also called me a "punk". The girl, who was with him, for some reason, mentioned my "1998 Cadillac". I don't know what any of that had to do with my clogged sewer pipe. They accused me of getting the home from my mother even though she has never owned the home and didn't move in here until a while after I had purchased it. The house is in my name. Not hers. It was never her home, not that it should have mattered to him. He should have consulted with me, the homeowner, and not with her. They should have waited until I came home before entering. The girl inferred that I staged the whole thing to get out of paying even though I have thousands of dollars of open credit on my cards. They both left in a huff and didn't bother to clean anything up. Sewer water was on my bedroom floor. They left the back door wide open after leaving. The house became ice cold. My mother noticed it first and had to go to her bedroom. That is the way they treat the elderly? By freezing them to death? I don't recommend this company to anyone. WHAT A DISASTER!

I had a plumbing leak on second floor& things are tore up which i explained thing ls were a mess. Nothing was in his way to perform work. It is not garbage but boxes of things needing moved as upper floor & ceiling is tore up for major leak repairs. We are also downsizing & many boxes are going to goodwill. I explained all this to him. It only took a couple minutes & it would have been future work for him had he been any good. I got very little for what I paid. He didn't bring or replace part I called about. He didn't even have a bank account to send money to. What kind of business has no bank account? He did seem desperate for work having to come so far out of his area for work & not having dependable transportation. A simple call back from him could have resolved issues but that was too much to expect due to his character. Maybe he'll learn & mature by his mistakes so he builds a reputable business.
