Consistently inconsistent. I've gotten OK haircuts from the place before but after many visits, I've decided to not go back. Most of, if not all of the barbers besides the owner are unlicensed (or don't display their license anywhere) and extremely young. The last time I went was the final straw -- they touched up the front of my hair and cut a few strands from the back and made it look like they did something. When I got home, I immediately noticed that the back, the crown, was essentially untouched. I needed to get another haircut immediately from somewhere else to fix the mess they left my hair in. This has happened multiple times from multiple barbers in this shop. I refuse to continue paying for bad haircuts. read more

Very bad about appointment times. I've been coming here for years and sometimes just end up waiting on because they "put my name in the wrong spot". And make me wait past appointment times just to give my appointment away if I'm five minutes late. This barbershop is a joke and needs to get it together ASAP. read more

My husband went to this establishment a few months ago without an appointment. They said that he will have to wait since the barber said that he won't be able to see him due to waiting for a customer with an appointment. They had him wait for another barber. He waited for 30 minutes to be helped. Finally he was seen. He had a terrible haircut which was clearly very rushed. During this entire time the other barber continue to "wait for his customer". Right before leaving, another person came in as a walk in and that barber immediately took him. It was very clear that this was racism! Came in to get a haircut for my son. We were cordially greeted by the owner right away. He smiled at us. We sat down and took off all our coats. He told us that the barber at the end was ready for us. He set up a booster seat for him to sit in. After a few minutes my son started itching a LOT due to all the hair. Naturally he started moving a lot. The gentleman barber seemed to be getting frustrated with my son. My son wouldn't stop moving but it was only due to the hair. Finally after after a while I reminded him that he was only 5 years old. And then after he started talking to my son and distracting him with questions which calmed my son down. The gentleman was definitely knowledge in cutting hair. He did a great job and did exactly what I had requested. From what I witnessed with the other customers, the barbers are knowledgeable. While family owned barbershops seem to be more common among the known franchises, this place has raised the bar for all local competition, and now they're the competition. If I have this correctly, this is a father, uncle, sons and nephews run business with high standards for a good reason. Their attention to detail is incredible and they make their customers feel welcome and never rushed despite how busy they can be at times. I usually get a skin fade with a part-line for my comb over. They spend an abundant amount of time on perfecting the fade before cutting the rest of my hair. After that, they clean me up with shave gel and a straight edge. While all of the above sounds standard in a barbershop, I have been to many who just want to get you in and out, which is something they don't do. The price list is very reasonable and their level of service is excellent. Since they tend to be busy when I go, I call at least an hour ahead. See the picture below for proof. read more

He did a very good job giving me what I asked for which is a simple military style skin fade . They are also right next to the train station which makes it easy for city goers. This place is family run and everyone there is super friendly. I always get my cut from Sunny and he does an amazing job every time. The place is always neat as the workers there keep a tight shift to clean up pretty often to maintain a clean atmosphere. The price is fairly good and they just recently raised their prices. I pay $20 for a haircut + $10 for a beard shape up. All in all a great place to come to. read more

Sam was my barber and I got a great haircut phenomenal probably one of the best haircut I've ever had in my whole life. Sam added the extra touches to the haircut it was not a 5 to 10 minute chop chop and done he took 30 minutes plus gave me a great haircut for the $16 price. read more

Asked for a simple scissor cut. I provided clear spoken instructions and showed a few reference images on my iphone. I specifically communicated that I did not want a fade. Kid cutting my hair immediately starts giving me a fade and then tried to convince me that he was giving me what I asked for. After he botched the job, the owner of the place stepped in, tried fixing it, and again tried to convince me that I should be happy. Very bizarre experience. Like many others here, I have been getting my hair cut by Sean and Sam for about 5 years or so. Each and every time, they cut has been great and the service even better. Best spot to get a haircut before heading into the city. There's no rush or that feeling of the barber rushing you out. Unless you have to get somewhere.
