Use to go here all the time. Friendly owner and worker. Not sure if they moved or closed in 2024?

I don't think there's a smarter group of guys working this industry with more passion for the people they serve. The stand out guy for me, George! I have called the store at least four times a week since beginning my plant project and he has been so patient with me. He goes the extra mile every time. Again, everybody there is great but George delivers that special concierge service for me.

From media, fertilizers and nutrients, to plumbing and lighting, to supplements and CO2, to testing and measuring equipment; Green Acres really has it all. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly and will offer 30% discount on ALL merchandise to all clients regardless of how you pay; though their CC machine was down when I visited. They have a great selection of everything at very reasonable prices. And if they don't have it, Home Depot is a block away. Store hours are pretty accommodating too, 10 AM to 7 PM Monday through Saturday and 11 AM to 5 PM on Sunday. Even though I'm a aquarist, I've visited twice just to look around and have found some gear better priced than online or at LFS. I picked up an electronic pH tester and a bottle of reference solution for less than amazon! I wish I was a hobby horticulturist as I would be able to purchase more from Green Acres, they are a great local business with friendly staff and great prices. Check them out!

I was needing some coarse perlite and I didn't want to order from Amazon as it's always powder by the time it arrives. Called quite a few shops that were on the way to my destination as I live almost a hour away and this place had it for half the price and the entire bag was perfect! Staff or owner was super nice and seemed genuine. I didn't get to look around much as I was in a rush but all the things I generally get for hydro products was way below what I've been paying or spot on but for the larger size containers. It will definitely be where I go to from now on for my needs, even with the hour drive! Also had basic pots for 1 to 1.25 which was a steal if you're not looking for decorative and your jungle is trying to take you out by growing faster then they should. The sturdy ones not the cheap ones like other big box stores. Also maybe I've just been to some subpar hydro stores. This place definitely was the cleanest. The bottles weren't covered in massive dust or leaky bottles like they had been sitting on the shelf forever and from the quick look around , I saw a lot more items I could utilize for my houseplants then just the basic hydro setup even though I do that as well, one less stop is a win for me..

The production selection is huge. The owner is super nice. Prices are great also. The store is…read morepretty big.

When All Seasons opened, I was so happy that there was a place that I could go to that had incredible customer service and treated me with respect. At the time there were very few women in the industry and it was hard to get shops to take you seriously in the late 90s. These guys were always great. Gary and his team have always been amazing and go the extra mile. When the shops up here in the Bay Area shut down due to the Shelter-in-Place order, I made the drive down to All Seasons to get what I need. I can't remember the Asian guy's name, but I remember when he started working there. It's telling when you have an employee that has been there for decades. He's always helpful, gives great advice and recommendations, makes sure you have everything you need, and is cordial and polite. I've never had issues with this shop. After over 20 years of shopping here, I can only say positive things. I will continue to be a loyal customer and recommend this shop to pros and novices alike.

It's open from 8am to 5pm daily with an all-star cast of incredible knowledgeable and caring individuals who help keep GTN great. Grab a wagon and load up because you won't know when to stop with some many great plants, deals on supplies and their inviting layout. As a small chain of garden centers meets plant nurseries I have to say this location stands out. Their online shop is easy also with get learning materials, newsletters , resources and even a plant library. I'll never forget my first trip here with my friend Sam, definitely need to hit her up again for a plant day, but absolutely still enjoy coming here with others and of course solo for some planty self-care. Adding some Elephant Bush (Portulacaria afra) friends to the plant family at home. Absolutely and 818/SFV/LA Valley favorite among many. You'll want to get lost between the many areas the have here and in the main area as well as their extended open air garden on the parking lot side. Staff here is very personable and extremely knowledgeable. From lawn and outdoor patio furniture or fixtures, fountains, decorations and plant care musts, GTN has a bit of it all. Even fun seasonal items and sales. Entrance in back, where you'll also find their parking lot, fairly spacious, but it can and does fill up on weekends. Restroom available for customers.

Pricing here can be a little steep, depending on what you are looking for. We were looking for pots, and found some nice terracotta ones that were reasonably priced, but inventory was a little slim. I also saw that some of the items on their shelves have been there so long, the boxes are faded and kind of dusty. Some of the signs for pricing are hard to read, so we had to flag down an employee to help us, but they were happy to help. A good portion of the nursery and store are in the shade, but some of the other plants are outside in the sun so bring your sunscreen! There's a lot to explore. Would be a great place to take the family, or even have a little day date.

They did not just drop them in the ground and tell me to water, they took the time to explain exactly how and when to water so I would feel confident in caring for them.
