The place isn't so large that you can't find things yourself but the owner is happy to drive you to the exact spot so you can get your purchases in a timely manner and get to work. This is a family owned business that includes customer service like getting a text back in the same hour let alone day answering your questions and making useful suggestions for a replacement if they don't have it. The owner will drive you around on the plentiful atvs and get to know you and your plans for your business. They remember your name and they have much better prices than the larger chain that supplies landscapers in the area.

Bad customer service. I've attempted to purchase a grill 10 times. First order went…read morethrough(stated created on Grilla's website), but nothing ever shipped. I reach out and was told that the order didn't go through. I attempted to place it again, but orders failed. I was told that this was on PayPal's end. I reached out to paypal and was told that nothing was ever submitted or declined from them. Grilla never offered a solution, other than to try again. I tried again with an AMEX card, it was billed, but then immediately returned. I called AMEX and was told they approved it, but Grilla credited it back. So i tried a Visa, order went through, card was charged, but Grilla said the order never processed. Worst of all, after all of this, their solution: Try to place an order again! Grilla would not look into the fact their payment processing system is broken, wouldn't even acknowledge it. Dodge a bullet with this one, if this is how they treat a potential customer(someone trying to spend money but hasn't yet), how do their treat their existing customers?

While at another local hydroponics storee, I received mostly targeted toward what the employees thought I should want, that would actually be detrimental to the plants I am planting along with costing far more than the appropriate products. At Horizen Hydroponics, however, they actually pay attention to what their customers needs are and instead of trying to sell you the most expensive version, they make an effort to sell you the RIGHT versions for your specific needs. They understand that excellent cusstomer service and selling the right products for what's needed and giving genuine advice is the way to build long lasting customers. Love this store!
