After being in the area for a couple of…read moreyears, I decided it was time to find a new one so that I didn't have to continue driving home for appointments. I found Allisonville Dental Center through an online search and using my insurance company's website. My first appointment was in July 2022 and things were fine for the first couple things I had scheduled. The problems started when I was told I needed a crown in February 2023. I paid a reservation fee on this date to secure my appointment and was told the amount I paid would go towards the full payment for my crown. Fast forward to September 2023, and I had yet to have the crown delivered. Every appointment, which lasted about an hour, I was told the crown didn't fit properly and needed to be sent back to the lab. I went to their office a total of 8 times just for this one crown, for it never to be delivered. I ended up having to go to another dentist who was able to get me in, evaluate the crown prep that had been done, make some adjustments, and get the crown delivered all within a 2 week period. I had to make several calls to Allisonville Dental Center in order to receive the refund I was due for a service they didn't provide. The communication between the front office staff and the doctors was non-existent when it came to receiving my refund. Also make sure to pay attention to what you are charged, and what the insurance company says is allowed to be charged as there were problems with that as well. I would recommend getting a pre-determination for any service you receive to have documentation of the proper billing amounts. I was treated and spoken to in a disrespectful manner throughout this process by their billing department and was told I was rude. I tried to give them a chance throughout this process and even be amicable when parting ways due to their failure to provide a service. However, things did not end that way due to me having to constantly request my money back, of which they were trying to undercut me of. I do not recommend going to this office.

I've been scammed by other dentist for 30 some years. I found Dr. and Mr. Banks office on a whim because they where the only office to return my call when I had an emergency. I'm so glad they did. From the time I walked into the office, I was treated with the up most respect. Dr. Banks has saved what teeth I have left, did not recommend expense unnecessary procedures. Mr. Banks makes me the finest dentures and partials I have ever seen. My dentures look 100% like my own. People don't now I have an upper unless I tell them. Registered Dental Hygienist Angy, keeps my teeth healthy and clean. The whole office is full of love and respect for one another and there patients. I have friends that are now patients, I would recommend Allisonville dental, E. 46th. to anyone. In my humble opinion this is the finest dental office in Indiana.

I drove nearly two hours in snowy weather and arrived on time, only to be told my appointment no longer existed that day. When I calmly showed proof and tried to explain, the staff's response was eye-rolling, visible impatience, and zero effort to help resolve an error that was not mine. I was left feeling dismissed, unwelcome, and frankly uncomfortable. I can't say why I was treated that way, but it's hard not to wonder whether appearance or background played a role when basic courtesy and professionalism disappear so quickly. When I asked for their names to document the incident, they refused and told me to leave. If accountability, communication, and respectful treatment matter to you, I'd suggest confirming things multiple times -- and maybe still prepare for surprises.

I absolutely appreciated the phone call that someone canceled. Dr. Nam was extremely personable, with a relaxed but educational demeanor. As someone who isn't a fan of the density, I appreciated the offering of music or Netflix as a distraction method from the procedure. One thing that was different than my previous dentist is that Dr. Nam didn't do my actual filling. She administered the numbing agents and then another person came in, placed and set the filling, and then Dr. Nam checked this. In my other experiences, the dentist always did the full procedure, so this struck me as slightly odd. Other than that, office is clean, staff is friendly, and both appointments took me nearly on time (within a 5-10 minute window) which I think is pretty good!

f i could give zero stars i would…read more they told me that my daughter needed 9 silver caps and an early root canal. this is partially my fault not fully understanding the treatment plan we went for the next appointment where they placed 4 caps all in one day and had my 8 yr old in pains for two days. i decided i wanted a second opinion so i requested that they email me her x rays. they said they can't do that. they can only print them. according to HIPAA that's false. it doesn't matter what form i request my records in you can not make me come up to the office to get x rays. which is exactly what they did. they intended to put 5 more caps on my babies teeth but the second opinion told me that those cavities were not far enough along for such an invasive procedure. they just want your medicaid money. on top of like many other comments stating that the staff is rude. i was hung up on the first time i called for x rays. look into pippen as a whole on google and who they go through and are connected with. they are not approved with the BBB and there is several articles stating how they like to over diagnose and do invasive procedures especially on children.
