I bought a used Toyota Sienna from Phil and it was a great experience! The price was inline with what I would have paid to a private seller (well below the price of other dealers) and the vehicle was in good to excellent condition. There were no extra charges at the time of closing. The price we agreed upon was the price I paid. No fees, destination charges, etc...Phil is honest and knowledgeable. He really went the extra mile for me doing the 'Vin check' (required for RI registration) and saving me trip to the police station and additional fees. This was the best experience I've ever had purchasing a car and I can't say enough good things about Phil and Westerly Auto Sales. Had a medium-size job to repair and paint a drivers side door and front panel on my Honda CRV that had gotten damaged, and they squeezed us in between jobs prior to our return travel to Florida. Stiles is a conman. I brought my car in almost 2 years ago to get my bumper done and he added a $90 charge without calling me first and said that I could just "owe it later". I thought this was a one-time mishap but I went in to get an estimate recently for my mom's car and I just needed a bumper. Other places were only estimating $900. Stiles was making the secretary add on a ton of extras like a new grille, valences, etc. even though she was telling him I didn't need those extras. He said "add 'em anyway". $1500 was the estimate. This is a family owned business (second generation) and they do outstanding work. I have had work done here and family members have as well and Stiles (owner) and company have always done the best work. They are not the fastest in town, you may wait a bit for your car as they are pretty meticulous, but you will be satisfied with the repair. The wait would be the only negative and the results are worth it because I really hate the hassle when things aren't done right the first time - Westerly Auto Body does it right the first time. read more
