When I need a massage I like to find an individual provider rather than a chain or someone in a larger practice. I came across Jennifer a year ago while searching for a therapist on Thumbtack. She reached out immediately (always a great sign) and we arranged an appointment right away. Since then I have seen her regularly (2-3 times per month). Jennifer has a small but perfectly adequate office in a small medical complex. The room is very clean and she has all the stuff ... full massage table and all the hot stones, hot towels, etc. one needs. Very relaxing atmosphere. I always do a 90 minute session to get out the tension in my shoulders and help with a minor migraine (IT consultant blues). She is one strong lady who knows massage. I have received massages while traveling in China and Jennifer brings many of the same skills. Very strong (I asked her to to dial it back a bit), nice pressure point massage, and her full weight while walking on legs and back (if you have never had this experience, do it). I've been getting massages for 15 years , and it took 14 years to find the best ever, Jennifer! She offers a variety of techniques, Swedish, deep tissue, Thai, hot stones, steam with aroma therapy( helped with a sinus issue), and is always attentive to any particular problem areas I might have ( helped with a significant shoulder injury). Also, scheduling is also quick and easy, immediate response, and typically able to get in for a appointment within 1-2 days. Jennifer really is an amazing professional therapist. Scheduling is always easy , she's happy to focus on areas that might be troubling you on each visit. She offers multiple techniques, Swedish , deep tissue , Thai , hot stones , and. aroma therapy. I always , at the end of the every session I feel re-energized. I found Jennifer about a little more than a year ago and have been back at least once a month. She is a very skilled therapist who listened, asked questions and used all of her knowledge to quite effectively relieve with my back pain. I've had masage from dozens of practioners and I just had my first one with Jennifer at Western and Eastern and I have to say it was exceptional. Jennifer was obviously experienced in multiple modalities, worked extremely hard and as a bonus was very pleasant to talk to. I had my first massage with Yan and it was a great experience. Her studio is clean and peaceful which helps to de-stress you as soon as you walk in. Yan is more than your average licensed massage therapist, she really knows what she's doing! I have had problems with my lower back that her massage reduced my discomfort significantly.
