From the appointment booking process online to even showing up in person. Every step of the process was easy, fast, efficient and friendly (might I add). It's a really small office but if you book an appointment during the daytime on a weekday like I did, you shouldn't have to deal with any crowds or lines. Great place w lots of guards. Several windows like 6 I believe. Moves quickly, lots of parking. Be sure to find the yellow awnings for public entrance as most of the parking is along the side by 2-3 employee entrances. Read the door signs. There's a lot of security there so stay on point. No eating drinking or cell phones either! Everyone helpful and nice there . They have the applications there for renewing a passport that's close to expire. Or also the application documents for new passport. You can take pics at the Walmart on Speedway. The nice lady w the red ponytail told m all the scoop. Everyone was nice and polite there. I received my family's passports about 2 weeks later after applying (expedited services). My husband and I also applied for the passport card but we never received them. I called the 800 number and was informed that the person who processed our applications only had book only and not passport card. We paid for both the book and card and I have my receipt. Please help My daughters passport has been at this location since February 28th. Date of Travel is 6/13. We had a little over 14 weeks before DOT so we didn't think to expedite the service for my daughter since we were quoted 8-11 weeks. On 5/16 I started to get really nervous about her passport. Her status said "In Process". So I called NPIC. After over an hour on hold I spoke to a surprisingly nice lady who said she would put a rush on the passport. I also paid for expedited service and shipping. (As of today 6/3 they have not charged my card). 5/30 Called NPIC again and they said they can't do anything for me until tomorrow because I was 2 weeks out from travel, not WITHIN. I am not sure I have ever been that angry and anxiety filled. 5/31 Called NPIC again. Waited forever to get through and then on hold. They said there was already a rush on my passport and there is zero I can do until June 6th (5 business days until travel date). I can try to make an appointment, but one is not guaranteed. I tried and failed to rationalize with them. He kept telling me all you can do is "just keep checking the status and email/junkmail and mail for any correspondence". I am sick to my stomach doing everything I can. This is a trip of a life time. With 13 family members, planned and already paid for. My daughters passport is all we are waiting on. Both women were extremely helpful, knowledgeable, friendly, efficient and the bonus was their sense of humor. Truly a happy experience thanks to them I was in their office on Sept 4, 2025 to renew my passport for an upcoming cruise in 10 days. There never was any reason for me to worry about the time frame because this office completed my application request and delivered my renewed passport within a few hours. If I could go below a one star I would!!! The service sucked! It took them a year and a half to try to process my passport and I wound up not getting a passport at all. Plus they lost my freaking birth certificate and paperwork.. they claimed they sent me a letter asking for more information which is a crock of s*** cuz I never got it... I called them at least five times during the year. The reason I called so little during the year is because they said give it time. Give it time. B*******!... I gave it all the time the day you need it. I never heard of somebody waiting for their passport for over a year and a half. Then I told them send me back my freaking money that they were paid and they go. We don't return money! They're f****** rip-off artist! I hadn't realized my passport was expired back and was set to leave on a trip out of the country the following week. i got online and made an appointment. When I showed up the process was very quick and efficient. I thought it was going to be like going to the DMV and had low expectations but walked out with a passport in hand after an extremely smooth process. If you show up with all required documentation its very simple and ALL the staff were very courteous, kind and patient. You should note that once you are seen and application is processed it does take 1.5-2 hours for them to print the passport book. I left and grabbed lunch and came back. Thanks!!! read more
