I go to IRS, turns out they were NEVER FILED! Oh the frustration! I had to file them , and Luckily I didn't owe the IRS any money! Well I call H & R BLOCK and tell them what happened and they told me to come in to see what they could do. IRS gave me proof of the file. So I had proof. I told them I wanted my money back since, they did me no service! I filed them! That's what I paid them to do! So they tell me 2 weeks and I will get my money in the mail. Well, it's been 2 months! September now! And they said I need to show them my receipt! WHAT?! They can't even do a simple task! It's been such an inconvenience! I WILL NEVER, EVER let them do my taxes again, I'll go to TURBO TAX, but be weary. When I went in there, other people were there....COMPLAINING. He doesn't return calls. My husband and I provided him with our paperwork prior to our appointment. On the day of our appointment we sat in his office for 5 grueling hours. He asked us minimal questions. When he finished he said we owed $7,000. He had the payment envelops all ready for us. I looked at all of the empty deduction boxes in the tax form and asked him why didn't he ask me about them? When I finished we ended up getting a refund of $3,500. He's a horrible accountant. DO NOT USE HIM.
