I will never stay there again and I would not recommend if you're there with your kids, if you want a clean campground go somewhere else!! We left a day early because of these issues!!

There's holes in the doors, weather strips to the front door missing with gaps big enough for mice! The layout is so bazaar, line when your 12 and have a sleep over and push everything together to build a fort! They say they renovated the whole place, but these rooms have clearly remained unchanged for decades. The beds themselves feel like blocks with basic training sheets and blankets. If you did not serve and therefore are unaware of how that feels...think dusty sandpaper. We are only here for two nights or I would dip and stay at literally any other motel. My favorite part was when we checked in and the "concierge" pleaded to us to just not break the furniture...that's not a good sign! This hotel is for you if plan to get wasted and use the room to crash...but my guess is it's a safe bet to leave the blacklights off!

The outdoor "movie" didn't start at the right time, and the time they said to show back up it was already going, not like you could hear it anyway with the noise of the interstate. The arcade was extremely overpriced, and half the machines were broken. In the kiddie pool half the waterslides were broken as well. When I asked to switch campsites due to the noise, or to get credits back from broken machines, nobody knew anything, or could do anything, or understand the English I was speaking (not that I care, but a customer facing position should be able to communicate verbally, and not through a translator app). We reserved 2 nights and left after 1 as soon as we could. I should have done more research and found much better spots than this place for my family.

It is under new ownership, since 2014 and the new owners are remodeling and revamping the place.Some of the staff is new to camping but they are people people, so it all works out in the end. It has some of the lowest rates in the area even though the campground is 2.5 miles from Downtown Dells. The facilities are kept clean and the staff is quick to respond when an incident occurs. I highly recommend this place.

The camp site is big and spacey. We went and had no neighbors. They have porty potties stationed around. There are lights every few hundred feet so it's not so scary at night. They had swing, tennis court and swimming pool for the kids. Worst thing was that The showers were .25 to use and some of them didn't even work.

I wasn't looking for anything fancy and it was only $110. One of the cheaper rooms I found for the night of Oct. 9th. When we got there I noticed how jam packed the place is and very small roads. I didn't realize there would be so much going on here, as is, so many campers and RV's. I thought it would be more spread out, not people extremely close to each other. The girl at the front desk was very nice but it turned out all of the deluxe units were being winterized and the one I was able to book online wasn't even available. Luckily they had one room left which was just a motel unit, I was told the only difference between the two is that the deluxe unit comes with a pull out sofa. Sure it saved me maybe $20 but they didn't apologize or offer anything for the error of being able to book a room that's not available. The room was better than I thought it would be, I wasn't expecting much. It was enough for what we needed as we weren't really there anyway. It was clean and each unit comes with a grill, picnic table, table & chairs, and a fire pit which is pretty awesome. Overall, I don't think I'd stay again, it seems like during the summer it would be way too busy and too much going on with how jam packed it is plus way too expensive. I would highly recommend if you go late in the season like I did, I was told this past weekend was the last one, maybe call to book a room instead of online as it may not be available but it'll still let the reservation go though.

I wish I could give negative stars! While visiting the…read morecampground, the arm of the entry gate came down HARD multiple times on our truck causing extensive damage. When we tried working with the Taylor, the Office Manager, she was rude and not willing to help. We reached out to the owners, Jim and Jill Ward, but received no response. Today, we tried to reach them again and they hung up on us!! Take some responsibility and treat your customers better! #DISGUSTED!!
