The resort is camping trailer tent or cabins. Pool bar and restaurant bands play outside and its a fun crowd of ALL ages. I have nothing bad to say about this place it was perfect in every way the camp store has everything you need including cigarettes fun boozy booze beer liquor food ice everything it's the perfect place to go in the Dells but no kids waking you up in the morning screaming all day I highly recommend this place over the top highly recommend can't say enough about it. We stayed at the motel of the resort across the road but its all good!!

The good reviews seem to be for the camp grounds...I cannot speak to that we stayed in the "motel"…read more This place is like if your beat up garbage college apartment got handed back over to you. There's holes in the doors, weather strips to the front door missing with gaps big enough for mice! The layout is so bazaar, line when your 12 and have a sleep over and push everything together to build a fort! They say they renovated the whole place, but these rooms have clearly remained unchanged for decades. The beds themselves feel like blocks with basic training sheets and blankets. If you did not serve and therefore are unaware of how that feels...think dusty sandpaper. We are only here for two nights or I would dip and stay at literally any other motel. My favorite part was when we checked in and the "concierge" pleaded to us to just not break the furniture...that's not a good sign! This hotel is for you if plan to get wasted and use the room to crash...but my guess is it's a safe bet to leave the blacklights off!

We had a fantastic experience with our overnight trip outfitted by BRR…read more In my pre-trip phone calls they were patient and detailed with the information provided. When we walked into their beautiful cabin / office the potbelly stove was kicking out a little heat on that chilly morning and the panoramic view of the river through the wall-o-windows was fantastic. The woman who helped us was so friendly and gave us a thorough briefing to prepare us, including helpful details about what to expect from the river. The black-and-white map they provide is a little tough to read. Color would be better. I do like an aluminum canoe best (which is what BRR runs.) The PFDs they provide by default are the orange rectangle type II, but when I asked if they had a vest-type they accommodated. The basic orange are fine if you're leaving them in the boat, but really get in the way if you wear them while paddling. Because s#!t can go wrong fast on a river like the Wisconsin I prefer to wear the PFD most of the time. Our pickup was prompt and the van was clean and in nice shape. I've done many different stretches of the Wisconsin now and I do think the segment between BRR and Arena is the nicest I've done. It's more distant from roads, so without that truck noise it feels more remote. The shore and bluffs are pretty on this stretch too. It's a small and personal operation which is great when it's quiet. I could see them struggling to attend to everyone on busy weekend days, though. Our canoe had clearly see lots of trips - it showed evidence of many repairs and made me question its reliability a little bit. That said, it did not appear to leak at all, so... I do like like renting from a down-river outfitter so there's no need to get back for a specific shuttle time, so BRR has that going against it, but all-in-all this place will likely be my go-to for future trips.

We are frequent campers & have been coming to this campground for over 8 years now & it's turning…read moreinto nothing but a poorly run dump. We come every year for an event in the dells because of its great location on the strip, but this will be our last year. Rewind to last year's event, we had problems with some of our neighbors being loud until about 6am, called the police, nothing was ever done. Then wake up to this same group fighting & being extremely disturbing in front of everyone & families. Finally got some management to come down to do something about it & they said "they are banned & not welcome back". Fast forward to this year, I called ahead of time to make sure there was some kind of control over situations like this happening again. I specifically talked to the manager & she said "if police are called, we don't care if it's 3am, they are going to pack up & leave." Well same group ended up coming back after being "banned", police got called from a different group & management just said "I talked to the women at the site & they said they will be better tonight". Like what? No control over anything & it's pretty much a free for all to party & be disturbing all night long. This campground also claims to be family friendly but it's far from. Huge glass shards all over their kids sandy playground, to the point I had to refuse to let my kids play or jump on the jumpy pillow. Bathrooms are DISGUSTING! Over flowing toilets, no hand soap, no paper towels. I would advise to stay FAR AWAY from this campground, especially if you have kids!
