This place is a bit off from the hustle and bustle of the dells but that's okay. It was quiet except for some screaming and shouting because people around were having fun, but who isn't loud when you're having fun. Anyhow, the place is large. The camp site is big and spacey. We went and had no neighbors. They have porty potties stationed around. There are lights every few hundred feet so it's not so scary at night. They had swing, tennis court and swimming pool for the kids. Worst thing was that The showers were .25 to use and some of them didn't even work. read more

This is a solid campground with a robust community, but I find that many of the amenities are old and poorly cared for. The mini golf for example is overgrown with weeds. The pool is heavily chlorinated and irritated the eyes of several of our group. My favorite aspects of the campground is that it feels like a safe and welcoming community with close access to the fun Dell's activities. read more

NOT A NICE PLACE not clean bathrooms broke down the mini golf looks like a war zone felt torn can not see numbers for scuffle board tennis court full of weeds no kids crafts dj or band have not been good for the last 2 years washer and dryers are always broke down roads full of pot hole. Pool hit and miss they NEVER have themed weekends what they say that is going to happen for the weekend almost all the time never pans out and you are left without. BEWARE- STAY AWAY FROM THIS CAMPGROUND!!! DO NOT GIVE THIS PLACE A PENNY. They will falsely accuse you of setting off fireworks that are coming from the speedway, erratically driving your car that has not been moved in days, speeding in a golf cart that doesn't reach 12 mph and double charge your credit card while accusing you of not paying for a campsite despite proof of a paid receipt. Extremely disgusted and disappointed by the vile staff at Arrowhead Campground. My family and I arrived on 8/1 for a tent site rental for three nights. Upon checking in, everything seemed "normal". The front desk confirmed our reservations and charged our credit cards for the full amount and sent us on our way. We set up our sites and made ourselves a peaceful little home. Little did we know, on 8/3 things would take a frightening turn. While sitting around the campfire and enjoying each others company, we were interrupted by flashing lights that accompanied the campground security and Sheriff police. The campground security officer, Dylan, approached us first. He was sent to evict us by "management" and demanded that we leave the premises immediately. We were accused of several false and fabricated "complaints" that held no proof and simply did not make any sense. When asked why no one ever warned us about the alleged complaints he couldn't provide us with answers. We were extremely confused since we had several pleasant conversations in passing with Pam, the manager, throughout our stay. We refused to pack up our site and leave in the dead of night and demanded to speak to the person in charge. At this point, we are all petrified. The Arrowhead staff was not listening to a word we were saying and had clearly mistaken us for another family staying on the campground. Luckily, there was a levelheaded female sheriff on scene that took control of the situation. The Sheriff listened to us and could see and feel our genuine fear and concern. She took a few minutes to assess the situation and speak with the security guard privately. After several minutes of stalling, the campground security officer and sheriff emerge with Hayley. Hayley is the nastiest human you could ever meet. She is what scary campground stories should be about. Hayley needs to be banned from working with humans. Hayley couldn't provide any proof to any claims and instead made the entire incident about her and how she had to leave her home to come out and evict us. We pleaded for proof of the fabricated claims but Hayley would just get aggressive and backtrack and only bring up how she was being inconvenienced outside her work hours. We calmly provided evidence of common sense to their alleged accusations but Hayley was too ignorant to listen. There was ZERO legitimacy to any of the accusations. After a senseless conversation, the Sheriff informed us that we could stay the night but we wouldn't be able to use any of the paid facilities (shower and bathrooms) and we would have to be gone first thing in the morning. Completely unacceptable and unfair. Hours later, at about 1am, the campground security stops by to inform us that this was all a big misunderstanding and Hayley was WRONG and has no authority to enforce any rules or can make any decisions. He said that we in fact did not receive any complaints and this was all a big mistake. Each false accusation miraculously had an excuse. Pathetic. How disgusting. We were disparaged for...nothing. Hayley is pathetic. The entire Arrowhead Campground staff is pathetic. They should all be ashamed of themselves for the way they treated us. We left completely traumatized. Our children witnessed all of this and are now left with an awful memory of discrimination instead of a nice family camping trip. Do better or don't run a business at all. Fire Hayley and get some proper training for the additional staff members to prevent this from happening again. read more

I love this campground. My grandparents have been seasonal here for years and years and it's always a blast to be able to come to the campground and see familiar faces i've grown close with! I will forever love this campground and the people there!!! 100% recommend to everyone!!! The park was also newly renovated so it's nice for the kids! The showers are all 100% free and there's not a single thing I could complain about! read more

Front desk run by three rude women who snobbishly referred to my still fairly new 5th wheel as "that THING!" They put me in a tiny site knowingly camper was 35+ feet. Then they argued ten minutes about if I would fit or not. Then they put us on a site with the craziest set up. Our water is connected to a tap in the center of the adjacent site and the office had to give us a 30 amp extension cord because the power hookup was more than 40 feet away on the other side of the neighboring site. The only thing I can say a positive remark about is the maintenance man. He is the only one here with his head on straight. The cherry on top of everything is they have a no conceal carry sign posted on the office door and there is a deeply buried rule on the back page of the map they gave me about no weapons anywhere. But they didn't mention that on their website when I gave them a CC number before driving 800 miles. I will not stay here again. read more

GREAT PLACE FOR CAMPING!!! A bit far from downtown Wisconsin dells (10-15 minutes at most), but far enough where you can see the stars at night and not hear cars, trucks or any other kinda of man made noise (other than people/family snoring that is). Staff is help full even at 2a.m. when we arrived for the fourth of July weekend Friday mourning. Prices were a bit cheaper then some place I have been to (Yogie bear). The downside paying 25 cents for a 5-10 minute shower (but if your lucky some work for free, and remember to read its directions to turn on). For the campground itself it's pretty well put together. Places for Trailers, cabins, and nice grassy areas for the people that actually camp and sleep in tents and sleeping bags. Also, for those real campers the ground is nice and leveled exceptionally well. There's always something to do there besides the main thing of course drinking and bonfire. There's a small store, two pools (10ft pool and a 3ft-6ft I think), a small arcade, mini-golf, a park, trails and various events that take place. I think I saw a hay ride, and a little parade of bikes, outdoor movie and a karaoke concert while we were there. All I know is that you can always count on this place, when other places mess up your reservations (Yogie Bear), which is probably why my family has been coming here for DECADES. read more

Had such a great time here this summer. We rented one of the log cabins (highly recommend) and everything was clean, functioning, and bug-less. All the necessary appliances were provides, down to the plates/cups/knives/etc and we had a blast roasting marshmallows by our very own fire pit. We definitely plan on coming back to Arrowhead next summer, though we will try to book further in advance to get a better plot of land, because the cabin we got was not in a very "nature-like" environment (surrounded by RV's), which was not what we were hoping for. read more

Very nice campground! My boyfriend and I just came home today and we really enjoyed the camp. Being from Chicago we really loved the fact that the camp is quiet, They are also very strict on noise after like 10 pm. Plus we had a awesome clear view of the stars at night. Downside for us was how much it cost. We payed $40 for a tent campsite for one night. It was a dry site (no water or electric) and we were no where near the shower house so for us it was a little too expensive for a tent site. But the staff were more than helpful the park was very clean and quiet. We did see a lot of families there and the kids always had something to do. The little store they have saved us a few times seeing I forgot to pack somethings. Plus with it being right down the road from the dells it was awesome! Yes it's a little expensive but not nearly as expensive as a hotel and it's a better experience! We are planning another camping trip and are really looking to go back to Arrowhead! read more

Not my favorite place. Nice pool area with 2 heated pools but no jacuzzi. The showers are coin operated, moldy shower curtains and dirty tile. The sites are not level and there is a lot of sand. I had trouble getting our trailer in and out of our space due to excessive sand. There is plenty to do at near by Dells for families with money to burn. The town has many water parks, restaurants and other activities. There was zero cell phone service at the campgrounds with our T-Mobile phones. read more

Every Arrowhead employee we encountered was friendly and helpful. Of particular note was Daryl who went out of his way to help twice on our first day. We stopped him to ask directions to our cottage and, rather than simply giving us directions and sending us on our way, he led us to it. Later, after the campground store was closed, we asked him where we could find some firewood in the area. He called ahead to make sure the place he recommended had firewood available. Our "cottage" was a mobile home, fairly new and clean. It had a nice kitchen, complete with all the necessities. We chose Arrowhead because our group needed cabins, as well as, an RV hookup. They also have tent sites available, making it a good choice for groups with various needs. read more

We didn't have much interaction with the staff but they seemed nice enough. The major issue we had was getting in and out of the camping spaces. They have the roads blocked off so heaven forbid you pass your site as there is no way to turn around. We had to go through an empty camping space onto the grass and hope we didn't bottom out getting to our space. To back up into any of the sites is virtually impossible without going into a seasonal yard space. Getting out of both a pull through and a back-in space was just as difficult as getting into it. VERY sharp turns. I have no idea how some of the RV'a managed to get out with out damage to either their unit or the camp ground. The fifth wheel that managed to get into the spot next to us bend his rear tire as he bottomed out on the hill leading into the site. Unfortunately he wouldn't have gotten in any other way. The spaces are large IF you can get into it without significant damage to your unit. Also everything is very far away - laundry, pool, shower. You are expected to use your camper shower and sewer or have a golf cart. Their hours were very weird as well; seemed to close the store or not be there at random times during the day and on weekends. The pool was initially nice as it seemed heated but then it just got colder as the week went on. Not a good pool for very small children as their is no wading area. read more

I had the best Memorial Day because of arrowhead! This was my first time camping in a cabin. The cabin was perfect fully stocked and clean. The campground was loaded with things to do hiking, picnic, swimming, and even an outdoor movie theater. Let's not forget their awesome band. This is an ok campground for those with kids. As senior adults it has nothing to offer. Electric is shared between two sites. The interior roads are very rough and the sites are old and not laid out for the new larger rv's. There is no adult lounge or anyplace to hang out. Teenagers were having a spitting contest in the pool and neither the staff or guardians cared. Many dogs were off leases. We left several days early and would never return. read more

So disappointed! When I reserved my site, I requested confirmation of which sites my sister and family friends had reserved to make sure that I was close to them. I reserved a site directly across the road. Prior to arriving, my sister called to inform me that the office had given away my site. Their excuse for giving away my site was that I failed to inform them to make a notation be put on my reservation that I wished to camp near my sister and that my reservation only guaranteed me a site, not a specific site. They gave me my choice of three unreserved sites; needless to say it was obvious why these site were not reserved. As soon as I was setup the seasonal camper across the road and between my sister and me arrived and yelled at our kids for cutting through their site. To top it off, the seasonal camper played acid rock music loud enough for the entire campground to hear. The staff drove past a few times, but said nothing. The playground is outdated and unsafe for children. No discount offered. Stay away!!!!!! read more
