The alarms went off when the dentist had a very difficult time with the partial dentures. The product was so miserable, the option of going without them often crossed my mind. Adding to the review, the dentist was supplied with a copy of a full mouth xray; taken while in the hospital. When asked to review the xray for some needed dental work, the dentist never looked at them. I had to retrieve them from his office staff ( which seems to have a very high turnover rate ); with no apologies nor reason for not taking care of a return patient. Never again. Avoid this place like the plague. Fore warned is fair warned.

Not only did the person work hard at removing plaque, etc., but they used a baking soda solution for the polishing that made my teeth whiter than they had been in years. Other: I am now in the process of getting a crown on a tooth. The first visit was very good and the temporary crown is already resolving my issue. I can only expect the permanent crown to be better.

I was in tears when I walked through Alamont's doors because I was afraid of being hurt again. They were wonderful! Dr. Shipley is the most patient, friendly dentist! And he knows what he's doing! He did my root canal on short notice ON NEW YEARS EVE because I had an abcess. My hygienist is Amy. She's so good! She's smart and gets the job done while making me feel as comfortable as she can. Don't go anywhere else! This group will fix you up without selling you a bunch of services you don't need. If you call ahead of time and ask if they take your insurance, they'll tell you up front. There were no surprises!

The lady who explained the coding just acted helpless as if she couldn't possibly be expected to give a customer heads up that when their child turned 14, the insurance would no longer consider him a child. I personally think that is not something she just discovered, and did not know when your office sent texts to me to update info and confirm the appt. How about, "oh, it's another 14 y.o. we better send a statement that dental insurance isn't covered because he's an adult? Because $220 for a cleaning? How about "do you want to skip xrays?" How about do the uncomfortable task of holding your staff to a higher standard of care and consideration for the patient- including yourself instead of ignoring that I already spoke to your office management. They know who I am. And if they didn't convey that to you, consider that. If they did tell you and you know who I am because they told you, don't bother writing responses that aren't sincere.

Dr. Stakias is thorough and attentive. I had few dental or oral problems growing up. While it might be genetics and my own good care, I also attribute it to Dr.Stakias's care. The receptionists and dental hygienists are also remarkably fun and friendly.
