Horrible experience with Westfield Ford, partly the sales department but moreover the service department!! Would not recommend coming here to purchase or for any service that may need to be done to your vehicle. Where do I start? First of all, Russ was our salesman, we called the night before we had plan to come in and test drive a car and he suggests we put a security deposit on the car, that way the car wouldn't leave the lot for any reason. So, we arrive the next morning and to our surprise the car wasn't on the lot, (of course it wasn't.) They said the car had been brought to be certified but they could turn it around. Wasn't a huge deal, but we put a security deposit down to ensure the car would be there when we arrived!!!! To be honest, Russ was pretty helpful, we got a decent deal on the car and he helped set up insurance which not all salesmen do. Now the big issues occurred when Russ promised that the service center would fix the minor issues with the car. Long story short, some small parts had to be ordered and minor paint job had to happen so we agreed that we'll schedule for another day to have those fixed. They told us they couldn't schedule a date to have the scratches painted but we should call on any random day, and they'll see if it could be done. (What service center doesn't schedule paint jobs???) So that's what happened,we called on a random day, and they told us to come on in because the paint guy was there and the parts were in. After waiting three hours they told us they had not fixed the minor issues and the paint guy's compressor broke. Low and behold, the compressor didn't break but the paint guy had left the dealership, we were lied to. So we had to set another date to come in. We set up the date and came in, it was going to be a long wait so my mother and I went out to lunch very close to the dealership, after about three hours it started to rain so I called the dealership to ensure that they can still paint the car, they told us yes and we waited another two hours before going in and asking for an update on the car, it wasn't until then did they tell us they couldn't paint the car, and they did not fix any of the minor issues. (So by then we officially waited five hours to hear they did nothing to the car, we live an hour away) So we come in ANOTHER time to get it all taken care of, and they finally painted the car but couldn't fix one of the minor issues because they didn't have the part!!! (After they told use twice that they had all the parts) So you guessed it, we had to come in one more time to finish the job. This was our last time thankfully, and once the car was finished it was perfect. I got a great car, for a pretty decent price. We were lied many times by the service department, truly bad business on their part. I now get my car serviced at Ford in Arlington Heights, they have much better system and they treat their customers fairly. Also, I would like to state that I made this post to warn others about the service department. I in no way do I intend to contact the Ford dealership management, they already know about the situation. We are done dealing with Westfield Ford for good. read more

I can only review the purchase of a 2016 Ford Edge Sport. I started out on -line shopping on (BUILD A FORD), putting in several zip-codes, stretching across approx 150 miles. Every dealership got the same spects, even stating I would take a demo. This dealership came up with one better. I was pretty specific in what I wanted. Westfield Ford had a Demo on the lot. It was a step above what I was looking for, It had 6K miles on it and my salesman thought maybe I would be interested. I was not totally sold, as I had many other dealers that i was working with for the best one shot price. .. it was food for thought for sure. Mind you Westfiled Ford did have a vehicle that very closely met my spects, but I was glad they let me know about the Demo vehicle. The end result Westfield Ford surpassed other dealerships in price but I did decide on the 6K demo, as it was an upgraded vehicle for far less money than the origional vehicle I was looking at. It took 2 trips to this dealership 55 miles each way, and many many emails back and forth between other dealers. Time was on my side. I was not going to be taken, or bulldozed, or dazzled. This dealership knew they were in competition as well as the other dealerships I worked with. I was 100% happy with the whole process. 3 weeks later, I was being trained on my new vehicle by their vehicle technologist. She took her time and went the extra mile. My whole purchase experience with Westfield Ford was STRESS FREE. I was NOT RUSHED to make a decision, I was not pestered by numerous phone calls or emails. I had a great salesman , and everyone else i met along the way made me feel comfortable. It was a great experience and I believe I could not have done better in price. A range of 150 miles was the range of my search and Westfiled Ford come out on top. 3 weeks later, i found a moisture in the rear tail light. I am set up for replacement on sat. Can not complain about Frank the mngr who introduced me to Eddie the sales man, Sydney who taught me the in and outs of my new car before I drove it off the lot, Cole, service who expedited my issue of the moisture in the tail light for replacement. SO far, I have been very very happy with this Dealership. At 60 I hope my new vehicle will last for the rest of my life. My previous Ford Exp, I just sold with 160K miles at 16 yrs old. I took out the extended warranty just to cover, more to be safe. I want my new baby to last forever :) :). This staff knew I was not in a rush, they knew I do not turn over cars every 5 years. They knew this would be a one shot at the sale and prob my only purchase. I am a proud Ford Owner. read more

By far the worst customer service and service department ever at Westfield Ford! Since my rear brake job back in September of 2015, I have had my car in 6 times for a noise coming from the rear. First they didn't hear the noise, then it was the calipers, then it was the brake clips coming apart, then the tie rods, then rear strut, after spending over $500 and not resolving my problem I had had enough! I went to pick up my car this past Saturday and when they wanted to charge me another $400 for something that DID NOT fix my problem, I refused to pay. After back and forth and then being told "We could always put your old parts back on and refund your money!", I agreed to pay for the parts only. I was given my keys and when I go to get in my car, it wouldn't start. I was livid! They took it to the back and after waiting close to an hour, I was told I needed a new battery (but I would be given a break on labor charges). I flipped out and asked to speak to the owner. I spoke with Carm Scarpace who told me he is part owner and I explained to him that I had been there MULTIPLE times for the same problem and none of their "solutions" had fixed my problem and I didn't think it was right to have to pay for this. He assured me that the problem was now fixed (which is what I was told every single previous time my car was in) and they waived labor charges from previous work but said he couldn't do anything about the battery. I would have to pay for the battery. My battery was fine when I dropped it off! Why didn't the supposed diagnostic testing that they always run show that I needed a new battery?!?! I refused and told him I would contact their corporate office to which he quickly said they are privately owned. They jumped my car and I walked out of there saying I would spend $300 on a battery elsewhere before giving Westfield any more of my money! Then, as we were walking out, Carm (yes, the same person who responds to all the negative comments on Yelp by apologizing for the negative experience and stating that customer service is their number one priority...BS) says to us "there might be another way I can help ... we can trade you out of your car for a lower payment and I can credit all of the fees you've paid." What a slap in the face!!! Finally, the icing on the cake ... the noise IS STILL THERE, IT HAS NOT BEEN FIXED!!! The ironic part, as we were at the dealer, a friend (who was looking to buy a new Ford) sent me a text asking how I liked Westfield Ford, I'm sure you can all guess what my answer was! I did not purchase from Westfield ford, but felt that it's important to expose their lack of interest to serve their prospective client and instead, serve their own financial interest. I was lied to, manipulated, and treated unfairly. It was not called for. All they needed to do at the beginning is to say, A we don't sell the car you want at that low price, you need to go somewhere else, instead of lying to me and saying dealers who gave me those rates are liars and say anything they want to, to get you in. Never, have a seen such arrogant, disrespectful group of car sales people all at one dealership. It's almost like they are trained to deceive people to make the highest yield on their sales. Is outrageous. I guess someone has to pay for that big fancy dealership. Very disappointed, and will never go back westfield ford. They have no idea how to do business and be competitive in an ethical manner. The worst part about all this is that I was a personal referral to the dealer. They insist that YOU MUST come in. I don't want to come in if you pushy grease balls wont tell me you can do the price I want. Why do I want to waste my time? Stay away from this dealership. You'll be glad you did. EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE: When I went in to Westfield, the service was above and beyond my expectations! I lost my wedding band in between the seats of my car. After hours of searching on my own with no luck, I came to the realization that I would have to bring it into the dealer to have the seats removed. I wanted to avoid the dealer because I thought they'd charge me an arm and a leg. But when I went in, Scott at the service desk and Danny the mechanic were so helpful. Danny looked and looked for about a half hour from every angle before he too realized that the seats would have to be removed. The ring had slipped so far down that there was no other way to get it. Needless to say, they removed the seats and found the ring. ALL FOR NO CHARGE! When I went back to pick up the car (and the ring!) Scott at the service desk had securely taped the ring to my paperwork and had it set aside for safe-keeping. He said he wanted to be sure the ring didn't get lost again. The people at Westfield Ford were truly outstanding individuals who showed they cared about more than the car and the bottom line. They cared about me! I really like the folks at Westfield! I'm always greeted with a handshake and a smile. The new facility is always clean, and has excellent product representation. Mr. Costello,their truck guru,helped me equip my new 150 Limited and is very knowledgeable in his specialty. Tony B is very accommodating and he gave me a great deal. The salespeople here are very respectful.This is the fourth vehicle that I've bought here and I will continue to give them my business. Financing is always a breeze. Mr. Hardtke has always strived to present the best financing available and gets it done. QUICK! His knowledge of extended warranties is spot on, and I actually bought one this time. Waiting for service stinks! I wish I could drive my vehicle strait through the service door and out through the back.Unfortunately,I have to wait :( The guys always try their best to expedite things. Having said that,I would rather wait for a quality repair than a band aid. I once had an issue with minor damage in service, but it was repaired accordingly. First of all, look at all the poor/buyer beware reviews, they must be doing something right...right? Just kidding... The Service Department, its Director, and the Owner of Westfield Ford don't care about your car being used and abused when you bring it in for service and don't apologize for all the terrible things they do to your car. They treat females as second class citizens. My car radio was broken when I got my car and I brought my car to them multiple times (about 13 over the course of 3 years) to fix it, and all they did was take my car for joy rides, leave my tank on empty, bend my $150 key, pop my bumper out with no explanation, leave my vents out of their rightful place, get grease on my upholstery, and NEVER APOLOGIZE. It has now been a total of 6 years since I have had the car and I can't bring myself to go back to have them fix it. Corporate also told me to go back to them, this specific location to resolve the issue, that proved to be the wrong route. I will never purchase another Ford from the dealership. I hope they go out of business soon. STAY AWAY and don't buy the service package, they don't care about you or your car. Worthless. read more

Absolutely the worst place to try and purchase a vehicle from. After being referred from a family friend who has bought multiple vehicles from here, I WILL NEVER STEP FOOT in Westfield Ford again, ever. You couldn't pay me to do business with these guys. From low balling on the trade in, to trying to sell me a vehicle in which I did not like. In fact, it was the complete opposite of what I was looking for. Let me tell you, DO NOT put a deposit down on anything, unless you are guaranteed to purchase the vehicle. Getting the deposit back is impossible & you will get the run around for WEEKS on why you have not received the deposit. Pretty sure they want you to forget you put a deposit down so they can pocket your money for doing nothing. The finance manager will lie & tell you anything to just get you to leave the store. Even when specifically calling to make sure it was okay to come in and get the deposit. (3 times...) Once I arrived, the "lady who deals with this stuff" left for the day...like she always does. Be smart, go to a different dealer and you'll save yourself time, money, and your patience! read more

TERRIBLE. I said I'd come back next week just to get them off my back. I came in inquiring about a gently used or new Edge (2013) and the guy who helped me was slow as molasses. I told him what I wanted to trade in and how I'd pay. Really I just wanted to hurry up and do the test drive. My fiancé and I sat for about 20mins at this man's desk and he was just up walking around and disappearing out a view and talking to other employees ,idk about what, but I was highly annoyed. I was losing patience fast and this guy had more bs to hand out. After I did the test drive I was impressed but not satisfied. This dude kept trying to sell me a car that was not the year I wanted, not the color I wanted, and no sun roof. He told me all I wanted could be done but I knew that'd be an arm and a leg. Then he guesstimated how much my trade in was worth and low balled me!! I asked for my own car keys back and was ready to go. He called a manager over to reoslve our problem. I felt a little better when the manager told me I could do better than his employee's trade in guesstimate price.. But I don't plan on going back. read more

I am writing to share my recent experience with simply placing a call to the service department, as I have been dealing with a continuous repair issue and decided to try a different dealer in hopes of resolving it through another Ford dealer. First and foremost, I would like to express my disappointment with the assistance I received. When I called the service department, I connected with April. Initially, she seemed willing to help and took the time to review my issue and answer a few questions. However, the situation quickly took a turn for the worse. After our brief conversation, she abruptly dismissed my call. When I mentioned that it seemed like the department did not provide much service, she curtly replied, "We do a lot of services here, thanks and bye," and then hung up on me. I found her behavior to be quite rude and unprofessional. I wanted to bring this to your attention as I believe it is important for customer service interactions to be handled with care and respect. Unfortunately, due to this experience, I have decided not to seek assistance from that dealer in the future. read more

I bought a 2014 Focus from Westfield Ford and had a great experience thanks to my salesman Kevin Callaghan! Some women feel intimidated car shopping alone, but Kevin was wonderful! I explained what I was looking for and let him know my price range. He showed me a few different cars and I liked them all but none were exactly what I was looking for. It was late when I had come in and I wanted to get home, so he offered to keep looking and let me know if he came across anything that fit. I was surprised and comforted that he did not try to push a purchase of a car that he knew was not what I was looking for, which was what happened at the two previous dealerships I had visited. Thank you Kevin! He called me a few days later and said they had gotten a 2014 Focus in that had everything I wanted. We set up an appointment for me to come and drive the car and she slept in my garage that night! Kevin made this car buying experience better than any I had ever had. I got rid of my Ford because of this place. They damaged my vehicle multiple times due to incompetent service members and continued to do so while repairing what they previously broke. Including leaving grease all over my interior and headliner after replacing it. Breaking interior trim pieces during repairs. Damaging my windshield wipers and denying they touched them even though the initial work performed required their removal and they were written on with grease pen 'left/right' by them to indicate how to be reinstalled. Porter on one occasion put a two ft scratch on back of vehicle bringing it back, another visit they put a larger scratch down my hood and their 'repair' looked like was done with nail polish. Their service person, Cole, on one occasion when he thought I was out of ear shot complained about me to another customer saying "oh I'm sorry, had to deal with this guy who's a pain and always says something is wrong". I did call the manager whom never bothered to call me back. read more

After emailing many dealers for a edge, Westfield Ford came up with the best price. I covered an area of 150 miles in my search. I found the staff to be quite easy to work with. I was not pressured, I was not harassed with phone calls, In-fact it took me 3 weeks to close on the deal. I gave all dealers a one shot deal for the price. Thanks Westfield Eddie and Frank and Sydney for the most enjoyable shopping experience. My current Exp is 16 yrs old, so they know I am not going to be a frequent buyer. With that known, I told them this will prob be my last car purchase. I am glad they had a nice selection of vehicles on their property. No special order needed. All around amazing experience for a car dealership. When I used to think of car salsemen it was the total Opposite of what I encountered with my salsemen Donnie. He was extremely nice and helpful, as well as considerate. When he met us with enthusiasum and treated us with TRUE sincerity and respect It was like no other experience. After he hit us with his slogan "thats the Donnie Difference", my husband and I just looked at each other and sort of laughed and rolled our eyes, but after dealing with Donnie, we saw that there really was an honest and genuine difference which set him apart from every other salseperson we encountered. I recently bought a new Focus from Westfield Ford and I could not have been more pleased with my experience. Rob Swayka, the salesman I dealt with, is awesome! He was very helpful, honest, knowledgeable, and he did not make me feel pressured to make a decision at all. Rob got me a great deal on my trade in and also on the new Focus. The service department here is also great. When I brought my car in to have a protection package applied and leather seats installed, Teresa Nelson helped me out and I have to say that she is the best! This place is great! I have been looking for a 2013 Escape for months. I was a little skeptical because of the recall but my sales lady explained all the details to me and I felt more secure after that. I wanted a certain color and options but it was very hard to find. She explained all my options to me and every time one became available that was close to it she let me know. I never felt pressured to take the vehicle but one day when she called she had a vehicle that was better than the one I wanted so I decided to go ahead with it. I am so happy I chose this one. Westfield Ford service department is the best especially Ron. I can call and bring in my car at a moments notice. My vehicle is repaired right the first time. The waiting area is bright and expansive. As for sales, terrible. I purchased a 2016 limited explorer from Westfield Ford and the sales rep lied and never returned phone calls. Then said they had my white specialty equipped vehicle,my wife took off work and when we got there they tried to sell me a black vehicle instead. (Bait and switch) If I wanted a black one I would of bought it. Finally after 3 weeks the sales manager stepped in, they had my vehicle in 3 days and I purchased it.
