I made an appt for a bridal party with 6 manicures and 7 pedicures, over a week in advance. They got us in but said they couldn't do all of us at the same time, no problem we understand they have other clients. They finally got us going, some of us on one side, some on the other. The nail colors left A LOT to be desired, and the technician was digging into the sides of my toenails, even after I said 'ow'. My feel we're still rough and my 'massage' was about 30 seconds long. Didn't get a top coat on my toenails, so they were chipped the next day. Move on to my gel manicure: I had extra gel on the sides and undersides of my nails, my gel was lifting 2 days later, and there are bubbles in my nails. Additionally, I asked that my nails be only filed and they were cut to a much shorter length than I wanted. I also asked for a natural (rounded) shape and was given square. Everyone was really nice and everything, the work just wasn't great. **UPDATE: I literally said in my review it was no problem to not have all of us done at the same time. The only reason I would give this place a star is for the one employee who gave my parents a good experience. Aside from that this place is filled with judgement. Both my parents went in to this spa to try and find their new go-to place to get their nails done. They both always get pedicures together and never have been treated like how they were here. Persistent dirty looks and comments made towards my dad, because who knew getting your toes done with some color was a crime? Pushing higher prices and acting like it was appalling to see a man get his toes done. All they wanted to do was enjoy their usual spa date together and it was nothing but uncomfortable. I'm so indifferent about westgate nails. I've given them a few tries & overall they are just ok in the quality of work. They can also be quite frustrating as they are always trying to make you get new nail sets instead of a fill. They've bad mouthed other nail techs work just to give me a pretty crappy job. I've had lifting and nails falling off after a week that they put on fresh. I do love the color options. The pedicures are fine so I may return on the strength of that as well as the ability to make an appointment a be seen right away. Still not sure the price is worth it for acrylic. read more

My experiences at this salon have been awful. The first time my nails were not even. The second time, I was treated so poorly. I was completely humiliated when I checked in and simply asked about the wait time. The guy acted as if I was inconveniencing him to be there. His response was "I don't know. I came in from a 35 min drive just to check this place out for my first time with my sister in-law because of how many reviews they had, they even are blown up all over Instagram. I 10/10 would recommend this place to anyone I know. Their prices are reasonable as well. I don't have anything to complain about at all. They're amazing and would definitely come back. It was three of us who went on a Saturday around 11 AM waited about 10 minutes. Great customer service they asked if the water was too hot or cold and adjusted to our liking. This acrylic set is almost 2 weeks old and it's still holding up great (time for something new tho)! The amount of diligence and commitment to good work is really apparent in the quality of my nail art. This is only about the 3rd set of acrylics I've ever gotten and I will only ever be back to this salon to get the cutest designs and best customer service. I used to love this salon because the nails techs have always been sweet and talented, but since it came under new management, I have been very disappointed in the customer service. One of the male managers, the younger gentleman, is fine and polite. But the older manager who wears glasses is a jerk and completely unprofessional. I took my mother in so we could get mani-pedis and this middle-aged man I've never seen before walks up to us and literally says: do you know what you want. My mother says we would like 2 mani-pedis. He asks: Did you make appointment? My mother and I look at each other and said no. He sighs heavily and shakes his head. After looking at me up and down he just says: NO. I had an infection from another nail place and my mail bed came off cause it was bad, so them putting a tip before acrylic was not right, you shouldn't be able to see it lift... Ehh it was ok, wasn't asked what kind of service I wanted just kind of did my nails, then asked what color, overpriced, overheard a lady pay $190 for her and her daughter who was not probably like 8? usually a kids mani is like $20 not $40? pedicure was nice, wasn't busy. don't enjoy getting nails and pedicure done at the same time. which is what happened. looks like they only have two techs who do really nice nails, they don't do colored acrylic nails like I thought. don't really enjoy gel, plus they charge you about $4 for using a debit card. which they don't even tell you and just write on your receipt "no adjustment for cash pay" kind of dumb how places can just charge for not using cash. lol would suggest spending somewhere else. read more

I am not in the habit of leaving any review that is anything less than good, but this salon really deserves a poor review. I made an appointment online for an SNS dip set. Appointment was confirmed by text. I waited 30 minutes and received no apologies or even a simple acknowledgment of their tardiness. My nails looked pretty, but less than 4 HOURS later, both my thumb nails and my index finger nails were broken! Not chipped, but split down the center! I made an appointment for the next morning to have them fixed. When I arrived and told the same technician what had happened, she pulled out the super glue! Nope!!!!! I told her I would like them to be redone, and then the owner came over to me and said I must have done something wrong to break them. I insisted that I did not, and after several attempts to have him understand the situation, he very roughly asked me to his station and he would do it himself. Okay. He was rough with the dremel drill, and the cuticles on both my pinky and index fingers had bled. He removed and replaced the dip on the 4 nails in LESS than 15 minutes! Also, the top coat started coming off less than 3 hours later!!!!! NEVER go to this salon!!! read more

For the most part this place was great! I called and made an appt and they fit me in same day! Awesome! I enjoyed my tech., he was really kind... unfortunately the reason why I'm giving 2/5 is because even though I got the exact color, and shape and length I wanted and asked for, theyre uneven - my one thumb nail slants way left and the other is not even either :( He didn't do anything to my cuticles and just kind of put the acrylic wherever he wanted to start my nail at - which leads to an already grown out look... I've never had a full set where I was embarrassed to send a picture to my husband... This was probably a one time thing for them, but right now I'm on my way to get them fixed - at a different Nail Salon. On a recent trip to Westgate our friendly tour guide suggested we get pedis here. This place did not disappoint, taking all 3 of us on the spot and plunking us down in their luxurious (aaahhh ) massage chairs and getting our feet soaking right away. It had been about 6 weeks since my last pedi and I was due. In my opinion, this place was superior to the Aveda spa I had last visited. True confession, I had a little fall in Old Scottsdale the day before on unsteady footwear so my foot was twisted and painful. The lady worked my feet perfectly, although a bit painfully. But good. I walk a ton and have calluses on the pads of my feet that really needed attention. My feet are in much better shape now - pretty! A bonus for us was the owner, who was a big football fan and confessed he'd bet on the Vikings to win the Super Bowl. Then we talked Packers - the local team that has our hearts! The best was the price. The pedicures started for a mere $32. I paid $40. One of my friends got paraffin and paid more. Well worth it for this luxury! Thanks again for the great treatment! read more

Next thing I know I was told the nail tech was not trained to do that when every nail tech should be, told me to pick another color but they ended up picking for me, told me I did not know about nails because of what I wanted. She did not even clean them out nor buff them. They were so bumpy like mountains not even coffin shape and so uneven. I went to another nail salon since they clearly did want to help me out and when they cleaned me out they still had dirt, que bubbles, even hair ! I am so disappointed today when I arrived in their salon, I requested to take my nails off because I wanted a new set when we sat down I asked the nail tech if she knew how to do a candycane design she told me yes. While she was doing my nails, I thought, my nails did not look even they were different sizes different Lanks, but then again, I wasn't wearing my glasses. When I came to do my design, she just did three lines going long ways on my nails. It looked horrible. I asked her to remove it told her I would've never picked the red if she would've just told me she did not know how to do candycane design then I noticed yes Eight of my 10 fingers the nails are different with different length. I am so upset now on my. I am on my way to another salon to have them remove these things and to get a decent set on. Do not go here. read more

I've visited twice and both experiences were fantastic. First visit I had a full set of acrylic nails and they were perfect. The technician was careful and detailed. No pushy up selling, friendly and so pretty. My second visit was today with Bob for a full pedicure. Let me tell you, my feet were in rough shape. I run, hike, walk and wear heels all the time. Bob and team proclaim to be the "Pedicure Doctors" and sure enough, they seriously saved my feet. I will be presenting in front of a large group in a few day and am just a little more confident knowing how great my feet will look in my dress shoes thanks to the crew at Westgate! Comparable price other places but a little friendly and less rushed than others in the area. I'll be back! read more
